This was an absolutely unique and convenient stay in Lake Como. When I had an issue with it being dark at the front door, the staff was quick to respond to replace a lightbulb. It would be my recommendation that a manual be available on how to use the microwave and a more convenient location for an outlet in the bedroom to plug-in, cell phones, etc. also perhaps an extension cord at the kitchen counter, so you don’t have to juggle moving the coffee pot and the microwave when needing to utilize them. The host provides a starter set of Coffee pods. They were very responsive when I was at the supermarket to figure out which ones worked for their specific appliance.. perhaps this could be added to the information on the microwave as well as the induction cooktop if you’ve never used one.. I especially loved working at the kitchen countertop with the window open to listen to the children playing during the day as there is a playground in the back of the property outside of the gates, which are locked in the evenings. At night, the cave like atmosphere is incredibly quiet and the bed extremely comfortable. My fellow travelers stayed in more contemporary apartments and had many issues. If you are looking for a very unique fun accommodation, this should be your choice. If you need a full kitchen to prepare pasta, this would not be my recommendation as there is no oven and the kitchen work space is very small. I will definitely recommend to future travelers.
