Beautiful spacious home that felt like a 'home away from home' in Killarney.

Spacious home with four bedrooms, two sitting rooms, large kitchen & laundry. Three bathrooms, one upstairs & two downstairs. Location with a picturesque view of mountain & farmland. 15 minute walk to Lidl Supermarket & 30-40 minute walk to central Killarney. Stayed with family, 3 adults & 2 year old child. Great family home. Contact with Derry, property manager, via whatsapp was ideal. He was very responsive when needed. A few things to work out, the boiler & hot water. Red switches on/off for individual person showering. Only one person showering at a time. But we worked it collectively. Any problems resolved with contacting Derry.

Perfect location

My family stayed at Madams Hill House the first half of July 2026. The house was perfect for us! It is very spacious with 2 living rooms with fireplaces and four large bedrooms. It was very clean and had everything that we needed. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. There were even some games for the kids. Derry called to check that we had settled in and responded quickly if I had any questions. Location is very convenient to Killarney and has sidewalks all the way into town for those who like to walk. We would definitely stay at Madams Hill House next time we are in Killarney. I highly recommend it!

Perfect family holiday home!

Not our first stay at Madams Hill. Has all you want for a family holiday. Tons of space and really well equipped house. Super location, close to everything.

Madams Hill, Killarney

This house was in a good position to explore Killarney and the surrounding area. We were able to comfortably walk into the town. Would highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous holiday home away from home

Spacious and modern house, walking distance to the town, fully equipped with all the appliances, detergents, books and toys to make your stay very comfortable. Nothing. We didn't want for anything!

Lovely home

Large property with more than enough room for our family. We had an issue with the washing machine but Derry worked with us to resolve.

Good size for 8 adults. Quiet location. Close to town and National Park. Nice kitchen facilties. Ceiling stained in kitchen from previous water leak. We had trouble with the heat, particularly upstairs. Towels and linens could be updated.

Four Days in Killarney

Overall, our stay was good. Upon arrival we contacted our host about two concerns that were dealt with quickly and satisfactorily. The location was great; a 7 minute drive to College St. in downtown Killarney. The only issue was the heat in the house which was way too hot. Although we tried to adjust it, it made sleeping difficult.

Enjoyable stay

Great location large house well equipped. 2 sitting rooms with tvs & lots of games to keep kids busy. Even though there was 2 showers you could not operate both at the same time. This was not really a problem for us but possibly with a larger group. Also Wi-Fi would be a great addition especially for children.

Great House, great location

Cleanest house I've rented in many years. Location is great. Owner was always back to us straight away any time I contacted him. Downstairs bedroom with the en-suite felt a little damp. There is no vent there so wondering if a extractor fan in the en-suite would help. All the other rooms were perfect.

Fab location fab landlord

Was so delighted the owner had just put in wifi and it worked fine when we didn’t think we would have it. The owner was very helpful with any questions about the heating and the pilot light went out in the wind solved immediatly. The location was 15 minutes walking to Killarney and 3 min drive but out of town and off main road so quiet. 15 min drive from Kerry airport. In the heart of the ring of Kerry. Wouldn’t hesitate to go again great for families or adapts only Loved it Marianne Get sky or Netflix more tv channels :)

Great position to explore Dingle and Ring of Kerry

Took a few minutes to find the key lockbox as it is around the opposite side of the porch. Easy entry after that. House cold on arrival but found instructions and got boiler started. Good space inside and very good kitchen/diner. Bedrooms spacious Showers are a slight problem. Two electric but can only have one switched in at a time.

Lovely House

We had everything in the house and lots of space for 4 of us. When we needed help for hot water etc the issue was handled immediately by phone call and instructions. We had an issue showering in the same time with the electric shower. It was important to us as we were hiking everyday and needed to be quick. Otherwise it was all good.

Great week at Madam's Hill.

Spent a fantastic week at Madam's Hill in Killarney. My daughter and her boyfriend stayed also as well as our family dog. There was plenty of room for everyone and the location was close to everything! We could walk to Lidle, a garage, chemist etc as well as a hotel. There was a bar at the top of the hill in Old Killarney Village which was in walking distance. Lovely views of the mountains so it was a pleasure to walk the dog everyday. Lots of room in the garden for the dog but we always had her on a lead as there is no fence or gate. There was everything you could think of in the house so it really was like a home away from home. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Madam's Hill for a holiday especially with your dog as there was lots of lovely walks around the area. Derry the manager was quick to reply with any questions I had & left lots of information leaflets in the drawer of local attractions and restaurants which was extremely helpful. Hope to visit again very soon!

A perfect family holiday home.

We loved how spacious it was. The kiddies books and games were also a happy bonus. The kitchen was the perfect gathering spot with everything that we needed. Thank you for all the take out menus, they came in handy. We had a few issuea with the toilets, the flush for the bathroom upstairs and in the communal bathroom downstairs both needed seeing to. The baby cot doesn't have a mattress. It was a bit dusty under the double bed upstairs, I only know because my baby crawled under! Other than that it was perfect. I'm only writing this so you're aware.

Urlaub in Killarney

Schönes, großes Haus am Rande von Killarney. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötig und sehr großzügig geschnitten. Das Haus ist gepflegt und sauber. Gastgeber Derry ist sehr nett und steht stets zur Verfügung, wenn Hilfe benötigt wird. Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage, um Killarney und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir würden wieder kommen,
