A Wonderful Place to Come Back To!

It really is such a special little place in Maui.Our family loved being able to walk straight from the condo to the pool and have the beach literally at our doorstep. The kids could enjoy pool time, play on the beach, and head into the ocean while we relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. It made for such an easy and relaxing family vacation.We also love the quieter, laid-back feel of Kihei Sands. It feels much more personal than staying at a large resort, while still giving you everything you need for a great Maui vacation.There’s something special about waking up by the ocean, spending the day between the beach and pool, and ending the evening watching the sunset. We loved coming back and would happily return again. Mahalo to everyone at Kihei Sands for another wonderful stay!

2 week stay

Our 2 week stay at this condo was amazing!!! Pictures are exactly what you get!! It was nice to be close to everything but also away from touristy/resort area. They provide all beach essentials, even a cooler and beach bag!! We had a rental car, which I think is a must, to explore the whole island! Here are a few pictures of our view and the beach.

Great location but our condo is old and tired. Could use a thorough cleaning. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. Throw rugs in bathrooms were not clean and unnecessary.

100th Birthday

The family gathered from the Mainland and the Middle East to celebrate the patriarch's birthday. Daughter and a great grandson enjoyed the comforts provided by the unit. The only issue was with the cleaning. The window sills and ledges were very dirty - not just dusty, We had a very pleasant stay and would book again.

Much of it was due to coming home every night to a charming unit that had lots of space and newer appliances to make for a comfortable stay. Getting up every morning and enjoying a coffee on the lanai was a delight as was the view of the ocean beside the palm trees. The grounds are meticulously kept and any issues or questions we had were cheerfully taken care of.

I enjoyed sleeping with my window open and hearing the crash of the waves at night. The condo had everything I needed. I loved how small this complex was, and made it quiet. The location is amazing. You can walk down the beach to Sugar bakery and shaved ice. It was perfect when we decided to explore the island.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Kihei Sands, and ended up having pretty great weather, and a couple of beautiful sunsets. There was one issue with the downstairs people complaining about us being heavy footed, which wasn't us. There were a bunch of kids running up and down the walkway on the second floor. Didn't bother us, it's vacation and kids love the beach. Also a few missing housekeeping items in our condos, but the staff was very helpful and very nice, and we got squared away.

Very Nice!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a well located property - central to drive almost anywhere in Maui. It is right on the beach (not the nicest swimming beach, but great for morning walks and views.) It has all the amenities - parking, laundry room, pool, water toys, nice deck with sunscreen and grills and morning coffee, and the unit had beach chairs, towels, and a cooler, so we were ready for all of our day trips. The management was kind and helpful with laundry pods, rolls of quarters, etc.The beds were comfortable and the water pressure and temperature were good, as was the wifi (all critical to a happy vacation.) The condo unit had anything you could need in the kitchen and was well stocked. The decor could use some updating/brightening/maintenance, but nothing major. Yes, it was expensive, but the going rate for the area. Strongly recommend for a stress free getaway.

We ended up donating some beach chairs to this unit as the chairs that were available were getting pretty old. Plus, we enjoy the low beach chairs. The grounds were beautiful and it’s right on the beach. The location is perfect as you can easily travel to anywhere on the island without it taking too long. We highly recommend Kihei Sands!

Great spot for a family get together

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were in Maui for my daughter’s wedding which was held about 100 feet away. About 10 family members rented 5 units. The common area on the ocean was a great spot to cook dinner, hang out and watch the sun set. The accommodations were good and the location was great.

Great condo on Sugar Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here while attending a wedding at Sugar Beach. The condo was exactly as described. The condo was in a great location; very clean and well stocked. We had an issue with the AC unit in the upstairs master but the property management took care of the issue immediately. The pool is small but sparkling clean and refreshing! The staff were all friendly and helpful. The nearby shave ice and bakery are a MUST!
