Great location relative to most of the Acadia trails we wanted to do. Clean and met our needs. A/C unit under powered for how hot the weather was during our stay. Family of 5 could have used more towels for showering after hiking so much. Otherwise, well stocked w kitchen supplies/papertowels/trash bags/etc. and a MUCH better option than staying downtown Bar Harbor. Thank you for a great week of exploring.

The cottage was cute, clean, and convenient to town (3 mile drive). The owners were very helpful and responsive to any questions. We loved our time in Bar Harbor!!The main bedroom is open to the sitting room and there is a privacy screen that you can pull across at night, but it is not a private separate bedroom. It would not stop me from booking again but is nice to know in case you are desiring some privacy.

Cute Sparrow Cottage Stay

The cottage was in a perfect location for my family's one week stay. Only a short drive to Bar Harbor, the beach at Seal Harbor and the trails and carriage roads of Acadia. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need for preparing any meals. The air conditioner and heaters (one cool night!) worked very well. I recommend this cottage to everyone planning on visiting the area!

Cozy cottage

Great communication with owners. Nice cottage. Close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Very convenient location. We had 2 adults and 2 teens and enough room for us all. Full kitchen allowed us to have breakfast at home, make lunches for outings, and eat dinner in when we wanted to.

Charming cottage in the perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. Nestled in a peaceful location, it offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, while still being conveniently close to both the town and Acadia National Park. The cottage is well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully functional kitchen for meal preparation. Grace was incredibly responsive and attentive, ensuring that all of our questions were promptly answered. If we return to Acadia National Park, this cottage will undoubtedly be our top choice for accommodations.

I vacationed with my 17 year old son. I appreciated the location (quiet and close to everything we explored). The owner was quick and responsive to all messages. This is a no frills house, but comfortable enough for my needs. Beds were comfortable and internet worked well. I unfortunately had to clean the bathroom upon arrival and let the owner know about it. I also had other suggestions that the owner was open to. Traveling with an older teenager, it would have been nice to have a larger television in his bedroom area, and a more of a comfortable “living room” for myself. I had to use my laptop to watch TV at night. The shower is quite small, especially for a tall teenage boy. I enjoyed my coffee in the morning on the back porch. The area is amazing during the fall!

The cottage was simple, clean, well kept and exactly what was listed. The host was helpful and communicated well. The kitchen was well stocked. It was really easy for our family of 5 to have as a home base. One thing that we had not realized is there isn't laundry, which is not a ding on the property, but something to know for longer stays as it requires finding a laundromat in town.

Sparrow Cottage was amazing!

We loved the coziness and location. We were out of the busyness of Bar Harbor but close enough to easily get to excursions. So easy and quick to get to our hikes and bikes along Park Road. The place is spotless and comfortable! Enjoyed the deck every night. Very responsive host! So accommodating.

Cottage in a perfect location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (first time in Maine!) at the little cottage on Otter Creek Dr. It was the perfect place to experience everything in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Debbie was extremely helpful with answering questions and giving good suggestions before our trip, and she was very responsive when we had a little problem with the toilet not working. A very nice plumber came out first thing the next morning to take care of it! Thank you for everything!

Great vacation

We didn’t spend much time at the house, but what we did was comfortable and luckily the weather cooperated and we could use the back deck.

Beautiful little cottage. Close to Bar Harbor but out if the business.

Close to many trails. Quiet area. Watched deer and turkey from the back deck.

Cottage outside the crowds of Bar Harbor

Very clean and comfortable. More interior space than you would think from the exterior. Nice deck with chairs. Kitchen well stocked. Owner attentive to any requests/issues and quick to respond.

Lovely cabin

Grace family are very nice people. Our Original check in date Was the landing date of hurricane Henri, Grace emailed us to offer that we can postpone to avoid road trip risk. Also the cabin is Very clean, Nice backyard deck facing forest, and right in the Acadia park, also close to bar Harbor downtown . A few minutes drive to otter Cliff, great location. Highly recommend!

Cozy and convenient: Wonderful vacation!

We had a wonderful time. The Biallas family was welcoming and made sure that the house was well prepared for visitors. Our kids loved sharing a room. The beds had drawers for each of them to organize themselves. This was our first trip to Maine and to Acadia. The cottage was located close to town and to Acadia. We didn’t want to leave!

Anniversary Vacation

This was our 1st trip to Acadia/ Bar Harbor. The cottage is near the excitement of Bar Harbor, the peacefulness of Acadia National Park. It is clean & inviting. The owners were quick to respond to our questions & gave us some recommendations for local stores & restaurants. It was perfect for our 40th anniversary vacation. Thank you!
