The lake house is, quite simply, perfection made into a home.As beautiful as the published photographs may be, they simply do not do this remarkable property justice. You truly have to experience it in person to appreciate its beauty, the impeccable care with which it is maintained, the exquisite taste reflected in its décor, and, above all, the extraordinary sense of warmth and comfort that embraces you from the moment you arrive.The house is exceptionally spacious, yet Gregg and Kim have accomplished something even more special: despite its generous proportions, it feels intimate, comfortable, and wonderfully inviting. Every room and every detail seems to have been thoughtfully considered, creating an effortless sense of elegance, harmony, and warmth.The home is also exceptionally well equipped. Everything one could possibly need for a truly enjoyable stay seems to have been anticipated, allowing you simply to arrive, settle in, and enjoy every moment.Our warmest congratulations to Gregg and Kim for creating and caring for such an absolute jewel on Lake Anna. The location and house were great, the hosts were very responsive when I had questions and seem wonderful. Unfortunately, while on our last night we found mouse droppings and urine in the pantry, spice cabinet and in the couch cushions. Understanding that it is in a wooded area so critters are to be expected to an extent, it was very worrying what we may have been exposed to by the droppings. Without that experience it would have been 5 stars all around, but it has caused a lot of anxiety after discovering them.

Our stay at this Lake Anna property exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was perfect for our family, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.The lake view was absolutely perfect and peaceful , especially during sunset. We spent our days swimming, kayaking, and using the paddleboats that came with the house, the fire pit was a great place to make memories with conversation and smores!! The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bedrooms were spacious and incredibly comfortable. Every detail showed how much the owners care about providing an outstanding guest experience.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. They were friendly, responsive, and provided clear instructions that made check-in and check-out effortless.If you're looking for a peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained home on Lake Anna, this is the place to book. This property offers the perfect combination of comfort, relaxation, and fun. We can't wait to return and would recommend it without hesitation!

Our family had a wonderful time here! The house was clean and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. We loved the lake views from the deck. Our host Gregg was very kind and helpful and responded immediately with questions we had.

She's A Brick House was perfect for our family vacation of eleven. The house was beautiful and spacious for all of us. Check in was easy and the kitchen was very well stocked. We made use of the kayaks, paddle boards and fire pit. We had the best week and everyone enjoyed our vacation. Thank you Kim and Gregg!!!

Perfect Family Vacation

She’s a Brick Lake House was perfect. Our family of 10 spent relaxing days floating in the lake, paddle boarding, or kayaking. Evenings were filled with games, fishing, and s’mores. This vacation was everything I’d hoped it would be and we will cherish the memories.

Beautiful family stay at well stocked house

4 adults and two children had ample room at this beautiful house. The kitchen was so well stocked! Any kitchen appliance you could want, you could find. Beds were comfortable. There were lots of movies for a variety of age ranges. We used the provided kayaks and paddleboards every day. It was absolutely lovely. I would rent this house again.

Superb Family Gathering

10 of us (three generations) had a wonderful time relaxing, playing foosball, billiards, air hockey and many children's games, as well as Disney movies on big-screen TV. Enjoyed the water, even in February. Owner Gregg was very responsive, before and during our stay. Look forward to returning some summer! James. Tucson, Arizona

Well equipped!

We had such a great time here. Satellite television, pool table, air hockey, paddle boards. The kitchen was fully equipped. There was no shortage of cookware and appliances that you needed for an enjoyable family stay. We had 6 adults and 7 children. Yet it felt quiet and peaceful at night after we had settled. The house was spacious and open. The hosts were responsive and helpful. We loved this place and would highly recommend it.

Great house

This is a wonderful house for a large family gathering. It is spacious, clean and well supplied. The house comes with quality soft sheets and towels. The owners provide entertainment - 4 TVs, DVDs, games, and movies. It was great to have a pool table as well as an air hockey table. There is a small sandy area which is good for children. Plenty of paddle boats, kyaks and life jackets for all to enjoy. The deck is comfortable with a table, umbrella and numerous chairs from which to view the beautiful lake. The firepit surrounded by chairs was a perfect spot for toasting marshmallows. Most important the owners were responsive to our needs and always responded to us immediately.

Perfect Family Vacation!

She's a Brick Lake House is as advertised..perfect! The house is comfortable and everyone commented how they felt "at home". The set up is great, our elderly parents enjoyed the first floor master bedroom and very few stairs to get to the lawn. We all enjoyed the most spacious and well equipped kitchen we have ever experienced in a vacation rental...seriously, a juicer! Sleeping arrangements provide multiple options in the four bedrooms, plus extra sleeping space downstairs. Fishing from the dock, kayaking and floating in the lake were family favorites during our stay. The gentle slope from the lawn into the lake made in and out very easy. Would be great for small children. Kim and Gregg are wonderful hosts, very responsive and kind.

Family Time during Covid-19

Our extended family had a wonderful stay at "She's a Brick House". There is a lot of room both inside and outside. The extra refrigerator downstairs was very handy. We absolutely loved having the Paddle Boards and Kayaks and enjoyed our time exploring the little island nearby. We were blessed with seeing lots of birds; eagles, herons, baby wrens, maybe even a loon! The beach was GREAT for our 4 and 6 year old grandchildren. The kitchen really was GREAT! Lots of everything--never experienced a rental kitchen this well stocked! Kim and Gregg were terrific to work with--very responsive to all of our questions. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, lovely home on Lake Anna, this is it!!

Perfect Home for Friends Getaway

This home was perfect for our long-awaited gathering of lifelong friends who hadn't been together for a while. The deck was a wonderful spot for morning coffee and afternoon wine 'n cheese. We were 4 couples and this 5-bedroom home offered 2 kings and 2 queens in separate bedrooms with private baths. There were assorted other beds in some of the rooms but it is very difficult to find a home that offers suitable bedding for 4 couples -- no one wants to sleep in twin beds or bunk beds on an adult getaway!All seating in the house was comfortable and the round table with the lazy susan in the center was just perfect for playing cards and sharing snacks; all 8 of us were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have wanted/needed for the 3 nights we prepared our own meals.Last but definitely not least, our hosts, Gregg and Kim were very attentive when an issue arose that needed their assistance. They were very gracious from booking the property, answering questions, and being available to help when needed. We would definitely stay at this home again as it fit our needs perfectly!

Location! Views! Lake Life - She’s a Brick House is a GREAT family getaway!

From the moment we stepped in this spacious, well stocked, beautiful home, to the morning we sadly said good bye, we loved and lived up every moments at She’s a Brick House! Owners Kim & Gregg were amazing hosts, super communicative, and went above and beyond for my family and I! Highly recommend this home and all the lake and surrounding area has to offer: • 10 mins or less from Dollar General, Country Store and Food Lion • Gorgeous Lake and Sunset views from the house and backyard • Beautiful lake front beach for kids and adults alike to lounge and enjoy swimming • Fun fishing opportunities • Kayaks and Paddle boards were fun for all • King’s Dominion amusement park was a great option the break up the week and less than 45 mins away! All the best

We loved it. 3 adults and 3 kids. Everyone had a bedroom they liked. The kitchen had an expansive array of pots, pans, equipment and there were two grilles. We used just about everything making dishes from burgers and dogs to key lime pie to lasagna. The kayaks and paddle boards kept us all busy having fun and exploring the lake which had plenty of fish to catch. The views from the spacious house to the lake were captivating. Unlike some other houses we've rented, the owners labelled the light switches in every room making it easy. The kids loved the pool table and air hockey table. So did the adults. It was a great restorative trip after a year of COVID and other family challenges.

Lovely home, great location, and caring owners!

We were looking for a spacious home with waterfront access and a beautiful view of the lake. I reached out to the owners Gregg and Kim and received a response within minutes. I must say, throughout the entire process, the owners were a pleasure to work with. Once we arrived at the home, it was apparent that they take great pride and care in providing everything one could expect in a vacation home. From the kayaks and wakeboards to the BBQ grill with extra gas, the extra towels, fully equipped kitchen, air hockey, ice maker, etc., the list goes on. We had 5 kids with us and we found the home to be exceptionally quite, even with the young ones running around in the early morning. If you are looking for a spacious home that is located on a quite section of the lake with great amenities, this is a great find. To top it off, it just felt good renting from such personable and caring owners....we loved it!
