Villa Cocoon Sidari with private pool

Villa Cocoon is an exciting, modern villa with private pool, uniquely located within walking distance to Sidari and its famous sandy beaches (such as Canal d'Amour) and many facilities. Being located within the resort of Sidari, a car is not essential, yet all the comfort, privacy and quiet of an independent holiday home are guaranteed to the guests: a true rarity in this area! Villa Cocoon, delightfully designed and cared by the owners Fotini and Nikos (a well known local carpenter), can sleep up to 6 guests in 3 air-conditioned bedrooms. An inviting private pool, wide gardens, extensive terraces and spacious dining areas both inside and outside complement the setting.



Inside, Villa Cocoon is set over one floor, just 3 steps above the gardens and pool patio. Spacious aft and rear terraces surround the villa offering plenty of choices for al-fresco dining. Entrance from the main door is onto the truly huge lounge with fully fitted kitchen and indoor dining area. The kitchen has all the essentials for a self catering holiday including dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine. The lounge has a large L-shaped sofa and has a large flat-screen smart TV. Villa Cocoon has 3 airy bedrooms, all air-conditioned, and 2 family bathrooms (one with bathtub, the other one with shower). The bedrooms are respectively 2 doubles and one with 2 single beds. The interiors have been tastefully furnished and beautifully decorated with local Corfiot artworks.



Outside, Villa Cocoon offers to its guests extensive private grounds with lawn, shrubs, flowers. A beautiful private pool with shades and sunbeds is available for the exclusive use of the guests. It measures 8m x 4m and depth is 1.5m. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind surrounded by the green countryside. Yet, with so many sandy beaches in the surroundings, the choice will be hard! A brick-built barbecue with oven and outdoor dining area are also available for the guests to enjoy delicious al-fresco meals. Free private parking within the grounds.



NOTES: for the convenience of our guests, the price quoted includes: Air-conditioning, wi-fi internet, maid service twice a week, change of hand/bath towels twice a week and change of bed linen once a week. A refundable security deposit for damages (euros 300) is required on arrival and refunded at the end of the stay.



GREEK STAY TAX (climate resilience tax): euro 15 per villa per night not included in the rental rate and payable locally.

Absolutely loved our stay at the villa! Close enough to Sidari center to not feel cut off (10-15 min walk) but also far enough that its peaceful and quiet. The villa itself is spacious, has everything you need and clean. We absolutely loved the pool! It was the perfect size and temperature and cleaned every day. The host and her family are lovely and we can't wait to return!!

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s place. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful, very comfortable, and perfectly located, within walking distance of almost everything, including the beach and the Canal d’Amour. A special thank you to Maria for her kindness and attention throughout our stay. She was such a welcoming, friendly, and thoughtful host, while also being very discreet and respectful of our privacy. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. Thank you again Maria for everything !

We have had a fantastic stay in the villa. Great location away from the bustle of Sidari but close enough to walk to the restaurant, bars and beaches. The villa host was very friendly and made the villa feel like our home for the week. Villa very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you

We stayed at Villa Cocoon for 11 nights

We stayed at Villa Cocoon for 11 nights. Maria was extremely helpful from the time of booking until the day we left. She always replied promptly to any emails I sent. The villa is really lovely and was perfect for the 5 of us. It was approximately 25-30 minutes walk to the Sidari strip but there some lovely restaurants within a 5-15 min walk from the villa. Ionian Blue, The Orchard and Simply Greek were 3 of our favourites. Canal D’Amour was a really beautiful area for a drink. The villa itself had all the amenities we needed and we felt at home straight away. The pool was cleaned every morning before we woke up and was a welcome relief from the heat! The owners of the villa live behind it and were on hand to help if we had needed anything. They were really friendly and we appreciated the welcome gift they left and the welcome food they left in the fridge. We had a really lovely holiday so thank you!

Such a lovely villa where we stayed six people for a week. Plenty of space for all of us with everything you could need in the villa. It’s a private and calm area but still walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Also fast and easy communication with the kind owner. Would absolutely recommend.

This villa was an amazing stay

This villa was an amazing stay. Walking distance to the local tavernas and the beach but also private enough to fill very peaceful. The space itself was clean and the pool area was a great place to relax. Maria was super responsive when we required any help. The owners are nearby and on hand to help with anything you need. They are super friendly and own the live wood shop nearby which you should definitely check out for gifts. Overall a great stay and would 100% recommend.

We had a brilliant holiday! Dado Villas were very responsive to all of our requests, as was the owner who lived close by. The villa is in a great location, well away from the noise of the Sidari strip. It is very comfortable and well-equipped, with a lovely swimming pool. The grounds are well kept and there is plenty of room for sunbathing, etc. It takes about 15 minutes to walk down the nearest beach, which was very picturesque and with a number of tavernas. All-in-all, we had a wonderful experience!

Villa Cocoo was just as described in the listing, very clean and spacious. The setting was peaceful and the pool was a good size, very clean and a lovely temperature for swimming whatever time of day. We had a hire car so we could explore the island. It was also good to have the option of walking to restaurants, supermarkets and bars. Sidari was quite busy and lively in the evenings but the villa is far enough away to enjoy tranquility. Maria and team were attentive with the villa being cleaned during our stay and fresh towels and linen provided. Great villa and location would highly recommend.

Fantastic villa

We loved Villa Cocoon, very clean and tidy, all new fixtures and fittings and everything we needed for self-catering. Plenty of space for the 7 of us in the villa, lovely big garden. Pool was fantastic, the kids had a brilliant time. Lots of sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool so we could sit and watch them. Villa is about 1km from town and some of the closer supermarkets were closed, so a little bit of a walk to the shops. Overall very impressed with the property though and we'd definitely use it again.

We enjoyed one of the best holidays we’ve had, and the first time with the whole family! Having the pool at the villa was a game changer, we used it all the time. The villa and pool are set in beautiful grounds, the photos don’t do it justice. It is private and you feel like you’re in the country not 20 mins walk from the town of Sidari. Please note that if you’re walking in the heat, there is not much shade into town. The villa was perfect for our needs and there is air con in every bedroom, which was fabulous as the temperature was in the 30s! The veranda is a great shaded space to eatjust chill out. I would totally recommend staying here. Just wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful villa. You and your team have been so kind and helpful, one of the best holidays we’ve had, and with the whole family too! Thanks…

Highly recommend! The location is wonderful, walking distance to the beach and shops, etc., but extremely private and peaceful. The house was immaculate. Host even left a welcome pack with some food and drink to get us started. We cooked several nights and had everything we needed. Pool was fabulous, extremely clean, even had an air mattress for us. Bedrooms all have air conditioning. House is a great price for the size and having a private pool. Host was very responsive and so kind. Gave us a homemade gift at departure as well, which was beautiful. We recommend Captain Tziros for a fishing and swimming trip (it was so fun and we all caught several fish), Orchard Taverna for dinner, and Evangelo Transfers for transport to and from the airport. This house is fabulous and we would love to visit again!

Fantastic Villa

Stayed in villa Cocoon in July 2024 with family of 3 teenage boys. The villa was fantastic in all aspects. Clean and tidy on arrival and welcome package of food essentials was a nice touch. Lovely owner lives close by and came to say hello, once we were settled in, offering advice on local area beaches and restaurants. The villa has all you need, well set out and everything worked well. Aircon in the bedrooms, particularly welcome at night. Pool area and large garden are fabulous - great for teenagers to play around - with loads of space. The villa is set back from the road in a quiet location but only about 5 minutes walk to first restaurants and tavernas. The main beach and nightlife of Sidari is around 20-25 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive. Many small supermarkets in walking distance too. Overall, can't really fault the villa and would highly recommend for a family holiday in Corfu.

First impressions were great and they didn’t change. Villa was beautifully furnished, well kept, clean and comfortable. We arrived to a much appreciated welcome pack of bread, water, butter, jam so many wee extras I can’t list. We were welcomed shortly after arriving by the owner who was very friendly and lovely. Pool was just fabulous!! And the terrace was perfect for sitting out on the warm evenings. Villa was in walking distance to the beach and the centre of the town with plenty of tavernas and shops to explore. Roughly a 20 minute walk and we were in the hub of everything. I would definitely return here and can’t recommend the Villa highly enough. Location was ideal. It was very quiet but so much on the doorstep. 5 star Villa and 5 star holiday! Hopefully we will get to return soon.

Villa Cocoon review - summer 2026

Location was excellent - just a short walk down into Sidari with bars & restaurants with the Sidari strip just another 10 minute walk from there. The plot a good size, private, quiet & secure with the owners being right next door should you need anything or issues (which we didn't). Really good sized rooms, storage, two bathrooms, Aircon, kitchen/ diner/ lounge space, under cover eating area outside. Birds nesting & little cats ! These are minor improvements but something we thought of whilst we were there. The kitchen could do a better choice of cutlery. There were no knives to eat with only small sharp knives for cutting/ slicing. Not idea for trying to eat a meal with. The pool was lovely & one of the main reasons we booked the villa. We did & have noticed though that after using it for a few days our swimwear was stained with a green colouring which has become difficult to remove. Internet search suggests - Green or dark stains on clothes from a pool are usually caused by copper in copper-based algaecides reacting with chlorine and bonding to the fabric fibers, rather than raw algae itself. Otherwise we loved the villa & would recommend to another family.

Comfortable, well-equipped property with a nice pool in a lovely peaceful location. A flat 5-minute walk to a couple of excellent restaurants. 5-minute drive into busy Sidari. Very comprehensive welcome pack was much appreciated as we arrived late. The owners live close by and couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Bathrooms were not great but clean and functional. A family of swallows nesting under the verandah roof were an added bonus. We had a great stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Cocoon and wish we were able to spend more time there. The house is beautiful, spacious, and has everything you need to feel right at home there. The pool was a crowd favourite. We loved the location - slightly removed from the busy town, but walking distance to everything including some incredible restaurants. Maria is an amazing host - very responsive, helpful, friendly, and truly cares about her guests ensuring we had the best experience possible. From check in to check out and everything in between was so smooth. Would recommend highly, and would love to visit again one day!

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf. Het was begin mei dus spannend qua weer maar we hebben dagelijks kunnen zwemmen, ook in de zee! Alles zit in de buurt maar de buren die zorg dragen voor het huis verdienen ook 5 of meer sterren. Wat waren zij attent en behulpzaam! Superbedankt!

To był rewelacyjny wybór! Świetna lokalizacja, z dala od głównych dróg, przez cały pobyt była cisza i spokój. Do centrum miasta, gdzie znajdują się knajpy i plaża jest zaledwie 20min spacerem. Willa posiada 3 sypialnie, 2 łazienki oraz ogromny salon połączony z kuchnią ze stołem jadalnianym, jak również jest wielki stół przed wejściem na altanie. Kuchnia była wyposażona we wszystkie potrzebne sprzęty, a w szafkach była bardzo duża ilość talerzy i szklanek. Podczas naszego pobytu basen i ogród był sprzątany, choć byliśmy poza sezonem. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielką. Zdecydowanie polecamy!

W każdej sypialni klimatyzacja, kuchnia z nowymi sprzętami, leżaki dla każdego, można wymieniać ręczniki w trakcie pobytu. Dobry kontakt z właścicielami. W pobliżu kilka dobrych i wysoko ocenianych knajp.
