This spacious apartment, with an area of approximately 125 square meters—including a 22-square-meter south-facing balcony (with a built-in barbecue!)—is located on the outskirts of São Martinho, adjacent to the Salir do Porto nature reserve.
The garden features a shared pool, but on top of that, there’s another pool on the roof of this beautiful, newly built apartment building, offering a view of the entire bay of São Martinho do Porto.
There are 3 bedrooms: 2 large ones with a double box-spring bed and 1 room with 2 bunk beds. This makes it suitable for 2 adult couples and up to 4 children, for example.
Every room, as well as the living room, has air conditioning and heating.
No fewer than two bathrooms: one with a shower, toilet, and sink, and the other with a bathtub and shower, bidet, toilet, and sink.
There is a beautiful, spacious open kitchen fully equipped with all appliances (dishwasher, microwave, oven, refrigerator/freezer, washing machine, as well as a toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, electric kettle, etc.), adjoined by a cozy bar for that first aperitif.
A spacious living room with plenty of natural light, adjacent to the balcony, featuring a large sofa, a rocking chair, and a smart TV. A few games and, of course, a fast Wi-Fi connection ensure every comfort.
In this same large open space is the dining area with a dining table for 6–10 people.
On the large balcony, there’s a lounge seating area, two lounge chairs, and a large dining table so you can eat outside as well. On the other side, near the master bedroom, there’s also a separate balcony with a seating area.
You have your own parking space in the parking garage, which is very convenient during peak season, as this is a very attractive village for both Portuguese residents and foreign tourists. It’s not for nothing that it’s called “the most child-friendly beach in Portugal.”
Also in the garage is a storage room with 2 bicycles and a bike trailer, which can be rented separately.
Everything is within walking distance: a mini-market around the corner, the beach, all the shops, the seawall, and the restaurants—all just a 5-minute walk away. The larger “Intermarché” is about 1 km away—perfect for a bike ride, for example.
In the region, you’ll find the legendary surfing town of Nazaré (15 min.), the city of Leiria with its beautiful castle, the medieval town of Óbidos, the stunning lagoon of Foz do Arelho, but of course, right nearby is “your own” magnificent, naturally formed bay of São Martinho do Porto.
This is a quiet apartment; it is not rented to party-going young people—it is a family apartment, and there are also permanent residents in the building who like to enjoy a good night’s sleep. Quiet must be respected during the night, and we ask that you always take off your shoes once you’re inside.
Towels and sheets are included—one set per person—and there is a washing machine in the kitchen.
