Situated on the fourth floor, without elevator, of a splendid medieval tower located into the heart of the Santa Croce neighborhood. From its ample windows guests can admire many of the most spectacular Florentine monuments including the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio and the Cathedral of Santa Croce: a truly memorable view!

The house can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people and is composed of two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds and a single sofa bed), two full bathrooms with shower, a roomy kitchen with dining table and a comfortable living room with windows that guarantee a fabulous view over the city of Florence.

We had a wonderful time. Location was near many places to eat. The place itself had an incredible view. Easy check in process. Highly recommend. Worth the stair climb.

We loved the location as you could walk to all the sites easily . The view is fabulous . It’s nice to sit in the kitchen and open the windows and see Italian life around you and hear the music from restaurants . There is a market close by as well . The stairs are worth the view , if you have a lot of luggage we hired someone to help . Check in was easy. We would definitely stay again .

The location is amazing, the place was super clean, and the view on the tower was worth every penny. Host was very responsive and helpful. My only issue was the bedding, I did not find it comfortable and the double bed is really 2 beds that separate every moment of the night. The main power breaker trips also very often with something as simple as the coffee maker. While it is not to blame anyone, it is worth mentioning that it is a tower and climbing is necessary in order to Access the apartment. It is close to restaurants and markets, as well as the piazza del duomo.

Overall this property was amazing if you are interested in history. Having an opportunity to stay in a medieval tower is a unique experience and provided some amazing views of Florence. Also, everything is easily walkable from this location.There are only 2 things to consider when staying here. First, there is AC in all rooms, but they aren't very effective in the bedrooms when staying in the peak summer heat and second, you want to make sure you know there are 91 steps from the street to the front door and another 40 to get to top floor. Totally worth it if you can physically handle that multiple times a day. To be clear, we stayed in July and still didn't see this as a negative on the property, but wanted to share to inform others.I would still highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a bit of adventure!

We had a great stay! Yes there are a lot of stairs but you wouldn't get that great view without them! Super easy to communicate with, the apartment was clean and ready for us. Also, great location that was convenient for everyday.

We loved the location and the apartment. We visited with our two adult children. Everyone had their own space (parents in the main bedroom, one child on the upper bedroom and another on a couch on the top floor). It was nice to have two bathrooms, and we found everything clean and comfortable.The steps are no joke, but as has been said in other reviews, totally worth it. We walked 91 steps just to get to the door of the apartment, then there are many other steps within the apartment. Communication with the host was excellent, each sleeping room had air conditioning, and there was adequate linens.Thank you!

This was a lovely apartment. The stairs, as mentioned elsewhere were no joke, but worth it for the view. We had a lovely Christmas morning in the top room. The location was great as well--walk one block East for locals' Florence and everything touristy is convenient to the immediate West and South.It was not too loud at Christmas (other than church bells), but we were just up from the foreign students fave bar (The Lion's Fountain) which is probably noisier at other times.

Awesome property! Great check in process, the place was very safe and right beside our pasta making class. If you're a fan of partaking in night life this property rocks! We went and met a bunch of other foreign exchange students and had a blast. The view from the property was incredible as well! Highly recommend!

Perfect walking location

Perfect area for sightseeing. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. However, there are 7 flights of stairs which were difficult to climb with luggage.

Check in was smooth- we were met as we arrived (and great communication to do that) and even had help getting our luggage up to the apartment. The main area is right as you walk in. One bedroom is just a couple of more steps up and quite large. The other bedroom is up another floor going up a more narrow spiral staircase -then the tower is up another level using the spiral staircase. Beautiful views! We had coffee in the morning and wine in the evening in the tower - just wonderful. Whoever is in the second bedroom needs to go down the spiral staircase to the bathroom. The other bathroom is main area behind the kitchen. We very much enjoyed our 2 nights here - only issue was the drip coffee pot was VERY slow. There was a few instant coffee packets that we used. All 4 people in our group are in our early 60's so we planned our trips up and down the steps. We would absolutely book this apartment again even knowing the steps. The view was totally worth it!

Beautiful views. Very unique place in great area. somewhat dated. Just be prepared, to stay in such a unique place, there are a lot of stairs. This is our second stay here.

Amazing views

This place is as advertised. Yes, there are a lot of steps but I think it was worth it to climb for an almost 360 degree view of the city from the top floor. You can see the Duomo, Santa Croce, Palazzo Vechio and everything in between. Loved the old feel to the building.
