There’s plenty to see and do in Lucca old town, and it’s just a 10-minute drive from Villa Elizabeth. Once you’re there, take some time to stroll around the historic downtown, you’ll find plenty of great boutique shops, cafes, art galleries, and fine local restaurants. Around the villa, wine shops, restaurants, take away pizza shops, ice cream shops and groceries selling local veggies and food are fun to be discovered. Including bespoke trattorias serving local old style Tuscan food such as Bimbotto and La Cecca while Da Giovanni is the most amazing wine and food shop in the entire area. Don’t forget to travel to Pisa (20 mins drive away), Pietrasanta (30 mins drive away), Florence (45 mins drive away), Cinque Terre (1 hour drive away) and then Pistoia, Montecatini, Volterra, San Gimignano, Forte dei Marmi, Livorno, Bolgheri, Chianti, Garfagnana, Siena, Arezzo, Parma, Bologna and many other Tuscan landmarks all easy accessible from this centrally located villa.
