Akira means bright in Japanese and Akira Villa worthily stands up to this characterization, as its sunny and airy all day long, thanks to the big windows and large glass doors mainly to the living room and bedrooms. The 220m2 property spreads in 2 levels and can comfortably accommodate 8 guests in its 4 bedrooms and up to 9 if necessary. Additionally, the villa is located in an enviable position, just 3 Km from Rethymno town and its long sandy beach, standing in an elevated spot, enjoying the view of the gorge lying below it, as well as the olive trees that fill the entire plot and the sea in the horizon. The area is idyllic for a peaceful holiday, as you can enjoy the quietness in a natural environment and being close to everything at the same time.


Ground Floor


The entrance of Akira Villa leads you to the open plan living room, where the cozy seating area is complemented by the open fireplace facing the comfortable sofas and the adjacent dining table for 6 is perfect for family dinners. The 50 smart TV with Netflix (villas account), Playstation, Bluetooth speaker, and board games are ideal to relax with your loved ones and have some fun moments. The room opens up to the pool terrace and enables indoor-outdoor access. On your left, you can find the fully equipped and modernly furnished kitchen in white color, featuring high-quality built-in appliances, providing all essentials for a self-catered holiday. The kitchen also offers an extra dining table for 4, as well as direct outdoor access.


Furthermore, two bedrooms can be found on this level. The first bedroom features individually controlled A/C, a 1,60 X 2,00 bed, a 32 smart TV with Netflix (villas account), a safety box, a large wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with double sinks and a bathtub, while the second bedroom is equipped with bunk beds (0,90 X 2,00) and A/C. Next to this bedroom, guests can find the utility room, offering the washing machine, clothes dryer and access to the parking space. Finally, a WC is also available on the ground floor.


First Floor


Following the stairs upwards, guests can find the remaining two bedrooms of Akira Villa, one of which offers a 1,60 X 2,00 bed, A/C, 32 smart TV with Netflix (villas account), vanity, big closet and opens up to a balcony equipped with patio furniture, where you can enjoy your coffee and the view. The last bedroom features 2 single beds (0,90 X 2,00) that can also be joined together to form a queen bed (1,80 X 2,00), A/C and access to a private balcony. Last but not least, an additional bathroom with double sinks and a bathtub that can be entered from both bedrooms is available on this floor.


Outdoor area
The exterior of Villa Akira covers 1.000m2 and offers many facilities including:
- A private, 50 sq.m. swimming pool, 0,70 - 1,90 m deep. The pool can also be heated upon request with a daily charge. It also includes a shallow compartment for kids, 0,50m deep.
- The pool area is equipped with 6 sun beds, a hammock, 2 hanging chairs, a poolside shower, and 2 umbrellas for your comfort.
- Fully equipped charcoal BBQ so you can prepare your homemade meals.
- Shaded outdoor dining area for 8 and shaded outdoor sitting area. Al fresco dining is an experience not to be missed!
- Lawn-covered area and some toys for the kids to play.
