We had an amazing time at the villa ! The property itself is beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed for the perfect holiday !A huge thank you our lovely host, Thalia, who was such a lovely lady and always on hand whenever we needed anything. Her hospitality made our trip even more special.Communication with Katerina was 5 star from start to finish and we cannot recommend Thalia Villas enough. Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to another holiday with you x

Thalia was a super host, very helpful and very friendly. Views were stunning. Villa was spotless and comfortable.The pool was fantastic to cool off in, but not a pool for adults as it was on the shallow side - average depth no more than little over a 1m. The WiFi was a bit and miss, and the TV has virtually no English speaking channels. Would I stay here again, on balance yes....!

We had a lovely time at Thalia villas in Kefalonia. The island didn't disappoint; it is still as beautiful now as it was 27 years ago.Though we arrived late at night, it was easy to get to. The thing is that there are 4 Thalia villas; each has a different name. This initially was confusing but a kind neighbour pointed us in the right direction. We were in Thalia villa - Venetia. There was a basket of snacks, water and fresh flowers when we arrived. Thalia came by to welcome us and gave us lots of useful information. She also came by mid week to give us clean towels and at the end of the stay to say goodbye and check that we'd had a lovely time, which we had. The villa is walking distance to a mini market and there are a few tavernas/restaurants you can also walk to. It's worth going to Verdamente. The view is amazing from the terrace and the food is gorgeous. The pool is very clean and a decent size; we used it a lot. The villa had everything you need but if you have any questions, Thalia or her daughter, Katerina, are on hand to help. A hire car is a must in order to get the most out of your holiday. The villa was a great base and gave us easy access to many places on the island. We would happily recommend Thalia villas . Thank you Thalia and Katerina for making our holiday memorable

Beautiful villa with great pool, full privacy, stunning views. Gorgeous, peaceful location. Thalia and Katerina are lovely, warm and very helpful. We had a woderful stay, I would highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful two weeks in Kefalonia. The property was perfect for us. The location was lovely - it was a short walk to several good restaurants and a really well stocked mini supermarket. Trapezaki beach was a bit further but also walkable. The villa was really comfortable and clean. The pool was perfect - warmed by the sun and regularly cleaned. The view was stunning! There were just two of us the first week but six in the second week as family joined us. Plenty of room for us all. We used the barbecue several times. The owner was really friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were super happy with everything and would not hesitate to return to this lovely island and this property.

Thalia is the most welcoming and kind host I’ve ever stayed with. She genuinely cared if we were having a good time and was eager to practice her English and offer recommendations. The villa was exactly as described and as per the pictures. The private pool was the highlight for our family with views out to sea, across to Zakinthos and of the mountains behind. Trapezaki is a calm laid back area of the island. You can walk to a well stocked mini market and Trapezaki Taverna, which are a 5 to 10 minute walk via a reasonably quiet road. If you want a bustling resort and lots of nightlife this is not for you! About 10 - 15 mins walk are two other tavernas would recommend Gefiri and Boho cafe - both are great! Trapezaki beach is about a 20 minute walk - we drove down and found parking at the beach. Denis Taverna on the beach is excellent too, the walk too long for my teens. Would also recommend a trip to the beaches around Spartia. We hired a car at the airport which I would recommend. If you want a big Supermarket Lidl is only 20 minute drive and Argostoli the capital is easily reached too, the Caves and the other side of the island are about an hour away. If you are looking for a peaceful family get away in a well equipped Villa, in a great location on beautiful Kefalonia then I would throughly recommend Thalia’s Villa

Vrbo app would only let me put maximum good, not excellent. Thalia was an excellent host always checking to see if everything was ok. The villa was lovely, very clean and the pool was great too. Walking distance of a very well stocked mini market and 3 great restaurants. Mini market gave us the contact details of a local taxi driver and they were so helpful and accommodating. Only 2 quibbles, the mattresses were very hard and the WiFi was very patchy. But overall our holiday was great and we would definitely stay here again.

Villa south kefalonia

Slight issue with forgetting to print passports to hand over to manager on arrival - we had sent electronically but that didn’t suit. Also expected AC which was there but set at 24 and only worked if all doors and windows closed so all party had to be in agreement do not really worked. Otherwise house really clean and in a good location.

Loved this villa

Loved staying here. The photos don’t do the property justice, it’s beautiful, pool is fab & clean, views are brilliant! Katrina & Thalia were very attentive. We had a hire car & would say it’s essential. We didn’t get that impression from the description. One bar/restaurant & mini market a walk from property. Taxi’s aren’t readily available & minimum fare is 30 euros as they come from Argostoli. Fab local beaches & bars & the island is beautiful…but all a drive away. Would definitely revisit & highly recommend.

We finally made it!

We booked our stay two years ago before COVID hit. After several date changes we finally made it on holiday. We had a lovely holiday and the hosts were incredibly kind. The villa is as described with comfortable beds set in a lovely location with super views and a few minutes in the car (a little longer on foot) to the beach, tavernas and a small supermarket. The pool was heated and good for young children with easy steps and a large shallow section. The only issue we had was with the WiFi which only really worked outside on the terrace by the pool. Overall we were really happy with our stay and would highly recommend the villa.

Beautiful large house for families

We had a great experience during our 3 nights stay with our family of 4. The house is spacious, beautifully renovated with a pool and parking pad. Lots of rooms and bedrooms for our family (3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms) and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. It’s higher up on the hillside, about 15 minute drive to Makris beach / town of Lassi, so you need a car to drive around. There are a few restaurants less than 1km from the property if you wanted to eat out close by. Katrina our host was responsive and lovely to work with. Highly recommend this accommodation!

Nice villa but disappointing aircon

This villa is in a nice location but has a most annoying air conditioning setup in that if you reside in the main bedroom and decide to sleep with the window open it will disable the aircon in the other two bedrooms !! Also a/c is restricted to Minimum of 24’ for this reason I wouldn’t return

Perfect in every way

This was our first time to Kefalonia and we was so lucky to have found this perfect property from which to the explore. The house is spotlessly clean with a good size pool with a wonderful view of the sea. Restaurants, and a shop are all within walking distance and the location is perfect for exploring all of the south of the island. Katerina and her mum are the nicest people you could meet and helped and advised us throughout our booking. We will definitely return. Thank you

Sehr schön

Es ist eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Es war sehr sauber und alle 4 Tage würde das Haus komplett gereinigt. Der Pool wurde auch regelmäßig sauber gemacht. Die Vermieterin kam alle paar Tage und hat sich erkundigt ob alles OK ist und war sehr nett. Die villa ist sehr zentral und man hatte gute Verbindungen. Kann es sehr empfehlen und Kefalonia ist eine wunderschöne Insel

Fantastic Holiday

We have just returned from a brilliant fortnight staying at the villa. Thalia could not have been more welcoming and helpful during our entire holiday. The villa was lovely and comfortable, air conditioning was brilliant and the pool is fantastic. The pool and poolside were cleaned frequently and the villa maid service was lovely, friendly and unobtrusive. The view from the pool and the large balcony is unbeatable. Trapezaki beach is lovely with a fantastic taverna/restaurant right on the seafront. There is a well-stocked mini-mart a short walk away and the owners are very friendly. Three tavernas within a short walking distance which we visited often, one which has a fantastic view from their upstairs seating area. We also loved BBQing by the pool! Agostoli is a 20 minute drive away and we visited often to see the turtles! All in all a beautiful place with amazing views wherever you go and would not hesitate to recommend this villa - we would love to come back. Thank you Thalia!

lovely family friendly villa

we really enjoyed our stay here. the owner is an incredibly nice host. the villa itself is well situated, well equipped, and everything you need for a nice stay in cephalonia. 1 little feedback maybe regarding how the airco is set up: we do totally understand why its a good thing to regulate the temperature in an eco- and cost-friendly manner. but the unchangeable setting of 24 degrees celsius... well for us it was a bit too hot. thanks anyways for a wonderful stay!!

Perfect base for a special week

Lovely clean comfortable well equipped villa with amazing views of the coast. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The location worked well for us, lovely local restaurants a short walk away and mini-market. Ideal base to explore the island, and chill around the private pool. We thoroughly recommend and hope to go back some day!

The villa was amazing

We stayed at the villa Venetia for 11 nights in May which was amazing. The views from every window were fantastic. The 2 nearest restaurants were within easy walking distance but you will need a torch. Our cleaner did a brilliant job and the villa was always clean. With the owner living on site she was available to help us with anything we needed. The pool was very cold for us so would recommend having it heated before you arrive. I would definitely recommend these villas and will be returning in the future

The property was lovely, it’s peaceful and has an amazing outlook.

When we arrived at the villa Thalia was there to greet us, she had left us a welcome pack with some essentials in, she also showed my husband where the nearest shop was and restaurants. Thalia went above and beyond what she needed to during our stay, she was truly wonderful and made our stay even more pleasant than it already was. The villa has everything you need, everything has been thought of. The view is amazing and the shop is only a short walk with everything you need. A brilliant holiday with an amazing owner to make everything go smoothly for you.
