The villa is well equipped and comfortable. Excellent bed.The issue for us is that the property is not situated in a tranquil and peaceful location. The road outside the property is very busy with continuous vehicle noise, and vehicles stopping at our entrance to visit the bakery. The access to the adjacent villa means that people walk past looking into this villa. The property is overlooked by adjacent apartments reducing the privacy whilst in the pool. Shame - we thought we had found a gem but not the case. Not worth 300 a night

Great Villa

As a family with 2 teenage daughters we very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Xenia and would highly recommend it. Great location to explore the island (by car), close to the airport, 10 minute drive from some amazing beaches We loved the private pool and the gardens were beautiful with their own vines, fig and pommegranate trees! Traditional bakery selling delicous breads and pastries across the street, small supermarket with everying you need, a couple of great taverna's and a patisserie/icecream shop in the village.

Lovely private villa with pool

Lovely private 2 bed villa with pool only 10 minutes from airport but not on flight path. Very nice garden with colorful shrubs and parking for 2 cars. Well equipped kitchen diner, lounge space and 2 good sized bedrooms. Excellent wi fi and TV's in all rooms. Bathroom with bath and shower. Very good local restaurants and bakery, all within walking distance. Car advised if you want to explore the island.

Xenia is a great villa

We stayed for four nights with our two children while we were travelling around Kefalonia. Xenia is a great villa and well maintained, updated from some of the photos in places too. It is a roomy villa for four people with super comfy beds and a big sofa, great to have a separate utility room too. The pool has the sun all day and is big enough for a swim and to play games, the garden is well maintained and has the classic Greek brick built bbq too, (most supermarkets sell charcoal). The bakery across the road is great for bread and treats and there is a well stocked supermarket and the fabulous Taverna Obelisk 10 mins walk down the road. We loved our stay and would book again

Lovely villa and very well equipped. If you could pick it up and put it in a peaceful tranquil setting as described it would be perfect. It’s on a very busy road and constant loud traffic and shouting from people blocking the drive to go to the bakery opposite. It is overlooked on pretty much all sides so no private sunbathing by the pool. 1 neighbour played a lot of loud music and we could hear their TV over ours it was so loud. There is no ocean view as ad states unless you’re prepared to clamber through a bush to see it or climb on the roof. There’s obviously a plumbing issue as there’s a bucket under the kitchen sink collecting water and as we were there 3 weeks it overflowed and I got up one morning to a minor flood in the kitchen and had to clean the floor and kitchen cupboard. Not ideal and I should have been made aware. The bathroom is tiny and if you’re in any way physically impaired it’s not easy getting in and out of the bath/shower. ( shower glass needs attention the seal is very grubby). Toilet seat loose and doesn’t fit the toilet very wobbly when sitting down. The villa behind has a lot of maintenance going on every day and their bins are right outside the master bedroom so lots of bottles etc being thrown around at 7am and constant hedge cutting and leaf blowers along with associated petrol fumes. I’d love to be able to rate this villa higher as it’s lovely it just needs moving to a better location I’m sorry to say.

We had a great time at this villa

We had a great time at this villa, the garden and pool was amazing, and lit up at night, the pool lights only came on at 10:15 so we asked to change them, which they were happy to. The garden and pool are mostly private, just a path leading to a neighbouring villa. We never felt overlooked. The place was clean and tidy and fairly well stocked. Just had to get groceries and charcoal for the BBQ. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance including small mini mart and a small bakery across the road. Air conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms. There’s great outdoor dining spaces, sun lounges and umbrellas. Garden and pool is cleaned every morning around 7am. Good off road parking space. Short drive to beaches and argostoli. TV in living room has Netflix & prime video. Decent size fridge freezer. Hair dryers, washing machine, kettle etc all provided. Plenty towels and pillows. Key box easy to use. Overall, great place, would recommend!

Villa was really lovely and perfect for our party of 4. Pool area was delightful, really clean and nice sun loungers. Villa nice and clean and adequate for our needs. Good location with a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance. A very handy small but adequate supermarket just up the road (10 minute walk) and a bakery for fresh break literally over the road. Also a good location for driving around the south of the island and close to the airport for speedy transfer time. We locked ourselves out one day and this was sorted very quickly which was a relief. Would highly recommend and will return given the opportunity.
