If that is not enough, the stunning glass ceiling above the bed enables you to continue star-gazing long into the night. In the garden you can spend your time enjoying the views across to Beadnell Bay and Dunstanburgh Castle.

The Shepherds Hut was a big Hit

We wish we had booked more than 2 nights!! It was an absolutely fantastic short break! Excellent accommodation, great outdoor space and the wood fired hot tub was good fun. Lovely to find a bottle of Prosecco and yummy chocolate- made locally , waiting for us. The bed was very comfortable. We hope to return in 2027

Amazing shepherds hut

Stayed here numerous times and always fantastic. Short 15 mins stroll to beadnell centre and beach . Perfect for a relaxing break . Great facilities incl hot tub . Comfy bed with star gazing roof ! Love it and booked to go back already!

Amazing stay

We booked both shepherds huts as there was 4 of us plus a dog. Both huts had everything that we needed and the hosts had thought of everything. The beds were so comfortable the hot tub was amazing and easy to use. Fantastic location could not recommend enough

A fabulous property, very well thought out to make a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It is set back from a main road, but you don’t really notice the occasional passing cars. Lovely large bed, lovely shower, well equipped kitchen. The hot tub was amazing, heated up quickly and stayed warm (even next day). Good quality linen and towels, etc. Plenty of wood, charcoal, etc. Very close to Beadnell and Seahouses. I would bring a multi plug if you want to charge two phones (only really one socket).

Amazing place

Stayed here many times and already booked to go back in July . Great value for money , fab hot tub . So close to Beadnell beach and cafes only 15 min walk . Has everything you need . Can’t wait to go back !

We adore this stunning getaway !!!

Second stay at the Sandpiper. We love the hut. we reset, chill out and switch off from the world. Best 5 nights sleep I have had since we last stayed. The location is fantastic, the views are stunning from the hut, super close to beautiful beaches and great pubs, chippys and farm coffee shops. Sam the owner is super helpful and friendly, and the hut has everything you need even for your dog. We cant wait to come back . Thank you x

Lovely, relaxing stay. Perfect with our dog.

We enjoyed our stay. Short 15 minute walk into nearby Beadnell. Lovely views across the coast to Dunstanburgh Castle. Hut clean and well equipped. The only thing we would have appreciated that wasn’t there was a freezer box in the fridge. We had some hot days and the ability to make ice cubes would have been helpful. Enjoyed the wood fuelled hot tub. Our big dog had secure outdoor space to enjoy and there were lots of dog friendly touches. Lovely base to stay to explore the stunning Northumberland coast.

Great stay

Cosy cabin in a secluded area making it perfect for stargazing. The hot tub is great to jump into and take in the views. We’re looking to visit at least yearly. We had a great time.

We've been coming to the sandpiper now for quite a few years.Its a fab location and we love the facilities it offers, we especially love the hot tub and the garden for the dogs. We use it as a base to explore the great beaches along the coast and the fab towns nearby. We'll be back...again!!

Excellent

Stayed here numerous times and always fab! So close to beadnell and beach for the dog . Hut is always clean and well equipped . There have been some improvements since our last stay - bedside tables , full length mirror and new cooker which was great . Love coming here and will be back again soon . Great value for money ! Thanks for the fizz , chocolates and yummy dog biscuits

Magical christmas

We had a lovely stay in the sandpiper incl. the sweetest little details as a little Christmas tree, welcome gift and even treats for our furry friends. Everything you could have needed was provided, we were able to cook lovely meals in the small space. Well located for long walks at the beach too! Thanks!

Me and my wife stayed over for 2 nights and honestly could not fault the place, nice touch with the bottle of bubbly and chocolate and the hot tub was awesome

Another fab stay

It's our 3rd time at the Sandpiper, we love the location and use it as a base to explore the north east coastline. We love using the wood fired hot-tub and our dog loves lying on the grass area outside the hut. highly recommended place to stay, we will be back.

Stop in Sandpiper for 2 nights, everything you could want! Hot tub fabulous, enjoyed night sky star and satellite watching, 15 minute walk into Beadnell, the beach is beatuiful

Great Place to Stay

This accommodation provides a great balance between getting away from surplus technologies but having sufficient appliances to make it perfect for a refreshing getaway break. Excellent location with plenty to do in the local area and very helpful hosts. We (2 x adults and a 7 year old) thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect stay

Thanks to Sam and the team for making our anniversary break so special. Loved the personalised banner, dog treats and the bottle of fizz! Lovely cosy little hut and hot tub. Holiday with friends

Loved the shepherds hut. It’s a small space for such a long stay though so bear that in mind. The only thing missing was a comfy chair to lounge on and somewhere to hang clothes. The bed was super comfy. The wood fired hot tub is great Would recommended to anyone for a long weekend / couple of nights stay. Beadnell is a great place with wonderful beach and pubs

A perfect place

Had a lovely stay in Sanderling with family staying in Sandpiper too. The huts are comfortable and well equipped. The children loved the hot tub and playing in enclosed garden with dogs. Very different and very special ❤️ Beadnell a short walk away had lovely pub The Craster Arms which is dog friendly and coffee shops plus a stunning beach. Would love to return .

Second stay

This was our second stay and we brought the kids this time, we all loved it. Star gazing on the evening was amazing, bbq on the fire pit and a dip in the hot tub!

Amazing stay!

Highly recommend The Sandpiper. As a family of 4, we thoroughly enjoyed our restful stay. Beautiful shepherd’s hut, with lots of thoughtful details and very relaxing! Powerful shower, cosy accommodation and enclosed garden so children / dogs can explore safely. Beautiful views overlooking the fields and sea. Good location to explore the Northumberland coast. We’ll be back!

Fantastic stay, amazing location

We had a fantastic stay at the shepherds hut. The location was amazing and the hut was wonderful. Everything was thought of and we enjoyed our trip very much. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a fantastic holiday
