One of my best Florence ( and all of Tuscany) stays! The apartment is in a perfect location for exploring the city. It’s beautifully appointed, quiet, and clean. The beds and furniture were all quite comfortable . We were greeted when we arrived and the host was helpful throughout our stay. I would absolutely love to stay here again.

Amazing property in a great location

What an amazing rental property! We enjoyed every second of our trip to Florence while staying at Donna Lipsi. The property was spectacular, and the location was perfectly located. We hope to stay there again soon!

Location and elegance!

If you want luxury and proximity mixed into one place, this is it! Historic charm and modernized. We had two kids and parents in town for 3 nights and we could walk everywhere! Restaurant suggestions were spot on and we can’t wait to come back.

Perfection in Florence

Incredible location, cleanliness, decor. It’s perfect. Hidden gem in Florence. Will be staying here again and recommending it to everyone we know who visits.

Another wonderful stay

The service and attention to the customer is the best I have experienced from a property management company. Cecilia and her team are stellar. I honestly find it difficult to think of anything. The only complaint was the hot water was not hot enough to fill the tub for a bath.

A perfect stay

Beautiful apartment. Architectural and decorative elements were elegant and exceptional for a rental property. The location was perfect...an easy walk to everything without staying in the middle of large crowds. Delicious gelato right around the corner. Property management team was excellent as well - very responsive. Would stay in the property if we visit Florence again.

Excellent stay, a dream duplex!!

Staying in the Donna Lipsi duplex palazzo in Florence was an absolute dream stay! From the moment we stepped in, it felt like a home away from home, with stunning views and lovely balconies off each bedroom. The residence was spacious, comfy, clean and with all the right kind of amenities. The impeccable taste in decor of the apartment added to the charm, and the Dimora team's top-notch services made our stay truly memorable. Lastly, the central location, right off the Arno, allowed us to explore the city easily, everything was at our fingertips. A week wasn't enough, as we didn't want to leave!

AMAZING

My wife and I have visited Florence many times however have opted for hotels. We have been lucky enough to stay in some amazing hotels, the most recent the Portrait. However, for this stay we were traveling with my parents as well as our 11 month old. We were a little nervous going from a 5 star hotel to a VRBO however there was ZERO disappointment. I dont think we will ever go back to hotels again in Florence. The value for the money far exceeds any hotel in Florence. The rooms and living space are perfect and well appointed. Without a doubt this is the best VRBO in Florence.

The unit was nice with plenty of space and in a great location. Communication was good with the property manager. The concierge set up our airport transportation which was nice. We added a mid week cleaning. The trash can in the kitchen was too small for that many days so not having anywhere to easily throw away trash (especially after they brought us a bunch of big pans of food for us to cook when we got there, which we never ate). They need to have a daily trash valet. For the most part the stay was nice but we actually had no hot showers all week except one day, so that was a big bummer. We asked them to check and they said they did but we still didn’t have any after that. The washer part of the one unit W/D worked fine but the dryer part not very well. We also had to listen to two little brown mini poodles constantly bark that were on a patio next to our unit even at midnight.

Our Perfect Vacation at Donna Lipsi

Our family recently spent 17 glorious days at La Dimora degli Affreschi and Donna Lipsi. Our newly renovated apartment was nicer than any 5 star hotel we’ve stayed at. We each had a master suite with private bath. As they say, location is everything! Across the street was our favorite restaurant. Around the corner was the best gelato. We were a block away from the Arno River and also a block away from a perfect market. A bus stop was right outside our door. Words cannot describe the wonderful staff, housekeeping, and most importantly Camelia and Cecilia who catered to our every need. We want to make Florence a yearly vacation and we will definitely be staying at La Dimora again. It was truly a home away from home and we were sad to leave! Thank you so much!

Spectacular Experience

We stayed for 5 nights with 6 family members. The unit was immaculate in cleanliness and amenities - soft sheets and towels, gorgeous dishes, high quality toiletries. The rooms and bathrooms were good sized and all felt like master bedrooms. It was nice to have a bathtub for our daughter. The washer dryer combo was so helpful - although it did take a long time to actually dry the clothes (a small price to pay for the convenience). The location was ideal. It was within walking distance to almost everything with a delicious restaurant across the street and market around the corner. The kitchen is tiny, so we didn’t cook anything, but the big kitchen table was great for eating breakfast and takeout. The couch was large and comfortable for all of us to sit and relax. There was also a small gym that we used a couple of times. Overall it was a five star stay and I would recommend it to all of my friends and family.
