The villa was amazing inside, with beautiful vaulted ceilings and lighting that gave the feeling of a museum more than a villa. Everything we needed was at hand in the kitchen: All utensils and crockery, a 4 burner hob housed in a cappa in muratura (masonry hood), a built in oven, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and 2 aluminium hob espresso makers. Be careful as the arch on the hood is low at the sides and I bumped my head a couple of times and I’m only 5’ 10”. A comfortable sofa bed and dining table in the living area, again with lighting highlighting the ceilings and walls. The bedroom and bathroom were well fitted out, with a washing machine tucked away in the bathroom. Outside was a deceivingly large garden full of fruit trees, a couple of sun loungers and a small plunge pool, that we never got to use due to the cooler weather in mid October. From the garden steps and a ramp lead to the patio area outside the back door (which is pretty spectacular). Two modern plastic outside chairs with a matching 2 seater chair and an outside dining table. The six days we were there were very relaxing and a great opportunity to unwind as a couple. Next door is a Cafe/Bar which gets busy and can be loud at times, usually from around 6pm, but it didn’t really bother us much and was quiet by 9pm. There is some traffic noise in a morning from around 6:30am as people start their working day but didn’t bother us much. A large supermarket and several restaurants are within a short distance.
