The home design, approached with research in the historical context, results in a contemporary Apulian style with high-quality artisan-made furniture and Leccese stone
floors. Vaulted ceilings lend an airy feel to the interiors, and creamy colour patterns blend with the colour of Apulia sunlight. Elements of classic Apulian Masseria
architecture are combined with contemporary touches, like bright-coloured furnishing elements and a swimming pool. Aesthetically, the house recalls traditional typologies and traditional materials, including Leccese stone, micro cement, locally sourced
and carved wood, and ceramics. However, an original influence is the reoccurring Apulian decorative theme all around the house, on the furniture and some of the walls. Rustic yet very comfortable, this is a traditional refurbished retreat full of light and a welcoming vibe, blending traditional and modern Apulian architecture.
