Great cosy place to stay Positive: Great place. The house has everything you need and is very cosy.

Great cosy place to stay : Great place. The house has everything you need and is very cosy. There was all needed to cook, to leave stuff, all commodities and even a safety kit! The garden was really great with sun until late, we ate there every day! Shared washing machine with product to wash, pegs and covered place to hang your clothes for drying without issue in case of rain. We really loved our stay there, so cosy! Also very well located, within walking distance of many things (Terra Nostra, caldeira, spar, pharmacy, etc...) The musty smell when we arrived, but after some aerations it went away...

Positive: Appartement très local avec un bel espace extérieur et très tranquille et bien situé pour

: A very authentic flat with a lovely outdoor area; it’s very quiet and well situated for exploring Furnas. We didn’t see any staff, but they always replied very quickly and efficiently. A nice touch on arrival: washing-up essentials and coffee pods. The style is a bit old-fashioned, but that allows you to immerse yourself in the local way of life. The flat gets a bit damp when the weather isn’t great – clothes take a while to dry – but I didn’t turn the radiators on!

Nice flat, but very humide, even the bed.The bed was swinging by every turn during your sleep.The drain of the bassin in the bathroom was not free.Fresh towels after midstay were missing. Dishes looked very used, mainly the pods and pans. Sun umbrella in the garden was missing.In the street in front of the house there was a lot of traffic.

Great place to leave your stress behind Great location in the picturesque town of Furnas, with day to day necessities only a little stroll away. The house and garden are beautiful, lovely and well kept. Without the provided heaters it would have been rather cold.

Review of Guest Ready Domus Adapta, Furnas. Three stars. This VRBO unit is less charming than the picture suggests. The garden is also used by the neighboring house. Garden bench had a fallen-off backrest. On entering the unit a musty smell awaited; we needed to open doors and windows to freshen the air. The bedroom is pleasant but the bed is not. The mattress was uncomfortable as the inner springs are notable. The living room is simple and just adequate. Outlets are minimal. I tried reading my corded iPad while in the one comfortable chair but had to choose between the charger or the main light. The kitchen sink and faucet are poorly matched: the waterspout hits the sink edge but not the sink. There were only two coffee pods for two people, two nights. Bottle opener was missing. There was no welcoming sheet with info on where to get these coffee pods or other supplies. The whole created an atmosphere of indifference. We will not return. There are better places available for less money.

: A dream cottage. A beautiful garden. You can park your car on the street in front of the entrance. A grocery shop, a chemist’s and restaurants are within walking distance.
