Surrounded by large, dense forests in the border triangle between Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany, in a small village you will find the almost 350 year old, historic Umgebindehaus. Here you are surrounded by the stories of past times, while you can enjoy modern comfort.
The interior is a fascinating mix of old and new. In the entrance area, the old terrazzo floor awaits you. In today's living room with the large cozy couch, the rustic wooden ceiling beams and wooden plank walls are still preserved. On cold days, the cozy fireplace warms the room. Adjacent to the modern, fully equipped kitchen is the old sandstone annex, which hides the dining room. In addition, a modern bathroom with shower is located in the old walls of the first floor. On the upper floor you will find peace in the four-poster bed under old wooden planks and in two antique single beds with a view of the preserved half-timbering. On request, another bed can be added.
The garden is a little paradise: Listen to the chirping of the birds, dream in the shade of the old apple tree and enjoy the peace and quiet. The adjacent forest invites you to walk and explore.
The surrounding area has a lot to offer: Hike through the Zittau Mountains Nature Park, climb the Lausche - the highest mountain east of the Elbe - or marvel at the bizarre rock formations in the middle of the forest.
