349 Lamplighter has now been hosting Marco Island vacationers for 10 plus years and running!! This 3 bed 2 bath home is located in the popular Lamplighter neighborhood of Marco Island. Renovated throughout this charming ranch style setup is located on a canal with a dock available to guests to tie up to.

Marco Island is the largest of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands, located on the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida. It has been described as Magical, Mystical and Alluring. The attraction is tropical sun-washed white beaches and a casual easy paced life style. Sunshine, frolicking dolphins, and all of the water and sun sports that go with the beaches are available for your pleasure.

Convenient location

Staying in a house in Marco is an excellent alternative to the more expensive resort options. Staying at a resort is basically the only way to stay right on the beach. This house is located on an intercostal waterway and in a quiet and welcoming neighborhood. The pool was warm and inviting and my boys enjoyed fishing off the dock.

Loved it!

The house has everything you could need -- pool, waterfront, kayaks, bikes, outdoor TV! A short drive or bike ride to restaurants and the beach. Neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Really couldn't have asked for a better, easier vacation.

Easy check in and check out. Deck and pool are beautiful. No complaints from neighbors. Had fun on the 2 kayaks in the canal. 5 adult bikes work well. All beach gear included and 2 fishing poles for canal. Can ride bikes to beach but a little too far to walk. Highly recommend this property.

We love Marco

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good time. The house was nice, although we would probably not stay there again. The hot water does not work in the kitchen at all. The water had been turned off to the dishwasher, not sure why. We turned it on, and that water did get hot. The sink never did. 3 of the six bikes had flat tires. We did let the office know on Wednesday evening and it was fixed on Thursday. There were so many light bulbs out, that we purchased bulbs and replaced them ourselves. We like things very clean. Although it was clean at first glance, once we got settled, we cleaned it again, to be comfortable. Along the baseboards and in the corners of the floors dirt and grime had built up. After the initial cleaning of the pool and the home, we enjoyed our time there. Not sure what is wrong with the hot water in the kitchen, but that would have been nice to have. The bathrooms had hot water.

Lovely Home - peaceful stay - terrific 2 months

Reviewer Comments: We rented the home for almost two months and found it to be a lovely home to vacation in. Lots of privacy and we were swimming everyday. Staying here allowed us to explore the Island and see if this is where we want to spend time every year. The weather was warmer than we expected right up until the day we left and we LOVED it. Screen around the lanai needs some repair but there were no bugs at this time of year. A palm rat came to visit the first night out on the lanai. One call to Harvorview the next day fixed the problem with an exterminator coming immediately.. We called to see if we could expand the tv viewing package to include some sports channels that my husband really like and it was done immediately. Thanks - it made it very enjoyable for my husband to watch all the baseball news and winter meetings and trades. After owning a condo for 24 years, we really enjoyed the house and not riding up and down in the elevator. Perfect location for me would be right on the beach but we soon found out that there isn't such a property available. Just tall condos. Please correct the name display. Great location, quiet neighborhood

The house is nice, could use some minor things fixed. The patio and pool area was my favorite spot. Neighborhood was very nice and quiet, the walk to the beach was a little long...would recommend driving. Good selection of beach equipment in the garage.

Marco Island 10/10, the property was great and perfect location! House could use some cosmetic work however did not make our stay any less amazing! Really enjoyed the channel access we kayaked all the way to the sand bar, pool is great and nice channel view with large lanai. Easy bike ride to public beach access!

The only recommendation I could make would be that the pullout couch is in desperate need of a new mattress. Luckily our little one is 4 and small because none of our other kids could have used it. Even the bottom was dirty.The lanai tiles were filthy and the tables were dirty as well.For the amount of money paid, it was not worth it.
