Acadia National Park ved dit dørtrin og Bar Harbor kun 7 miles væk. Stor åben stue / spisestue / køkkenområde, 1. soveværelse har en queensize-seng, 2. har en dobbelt og en tvilling. Stue - læder sovesofa og en speciel læderstol-plads til to at kæbe sammen.
1 km væk: 1-Jordan Pond House berømt for popovers, 2-Wildwood stalde-rides på 50 miles af vognveje, der kun er unik for Acadia, 3-Seal Harbor sandstrand (kun sand sandstrand på MDI), 4-ocean, 5-vognveje til cykling / vandreture og mange vandrestier.
Kun 15 minutter væk: 1) -Cadillac-bjerg med vidunderlige solnedgange og udsigter, 2) -Ocean Drive-kør ved siden af havet i mange miles inklusive Thunder Hole og mange steder at slappe af på klipperne eller stierne og nyde udsigten inklusive lobstermen trækker deres fælder, 3) -Bubble rock på Bubble Mtn.

Just a few minutes from Acsdia

This place was so cute and made getting in to Acadia easy. My only complaint was it was listed for up to 6 people but there was an extra charge for more than 4 guests which wasn’t obvious until checkout. However we had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect place to heal

Took a week to recover and reenergize, and found all we needed in this cozy little hideaway! Close to everything, but hidden away perfectly!

The cottage came as advertised. Our host couldn’t have been more helpful. The property had everything we needed. We would happily stay there again.

Perfect Place in right in Acadia Backyard

The place was a perfect place to stay for a visit to Acadia. Within walking distance to the carriage roads and a very short drive to the entrance to the park. House was in a nice quiet location and the accommodations were everything we needed it to be. The owner was very friendly and helpful in making suggestions on hikes, food, and other adventures.

I loved staying in the hidden cottage. Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Seal Harbor Beach, and central location to explore the east and west sides of Mount Desert Island. Simple and comfortable.

Relaxing, quiet, comfortable house

Enjoyed having the whole house to relax in after our daily adventures around Acadia. Location worked well for us. Enjoyed the extras Michael provided above and beyond the usual rental.

Excellent location!

This cottage is very comfortable and has a great layout. Its located on a quiet street in Seal Harbor where its easy to walk to the beach or park. Michael is a great host and very attentive to any needs that might arise. If you're going to be in town for Acadia, this is a perfect location. We'd definitely come back.

A perfect location for Acadia exploration!

This cosy, charming place tucked away in a neighborhood was a perfect base for us to explore the park by bike, on foot and so convenient to the other small towns of Mt Desert Island. It was a very memorable visit and we were delighted with its sunny and comfortable location.

Perfect Location

So peaceful to stay in Seal Harbor. The location allowed for easy access to Acadia by car and bike. So fun to leave the cottage on our bikes and explore the carriage roads. Easy enjoyable walk to the harbor. The accommodations were very comfortable for two couples. I highly recommend staying in Seal Harbor if you want to avoid the crowds in Bar Harbor. This cottage is just right for an enjoyable vacation on MDI.

Perfect Getaway!

Hidden Place is a clean, spacious, "gem" with all the conveniences of home. It was the perfect location to explore Acadia and the surrounding area. Nick was very helpful. We hope to come back!

Acadia Summer Triip

My husband & I have been to Acadia several times and stayed in this location previously. We love the area and the cottage and have found it to be a great place for the things we love to do in Acadia. The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Had a wonderful time in Acadia. Coming back to Nick's cottage after days of exploring was like coming home. Cozy, quiet, clean, amazing location. Nick is a wonderful person and host. Coming back next year for a longer stay!

Peaceful hideaway

The perfect home base to explore Acadia National Park and surrounding areas. Everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable, we found in the cottage. We loved how quiet the neighborhood around the property was and proximity to the beach. Our host Michael was very helpful and responsive. We really appreciate the recommendations he provided, which helped us make the most of our time there. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Location, location, location!

It was a treat to be a quarter of a mile to a carriage road. The house is easy access to Acadia, Bar Harbor, Jordan Pond, Cadillac Mountain and even the “quiet” peninsula. We loved it.

Perfect location, easy check-in/check-out

Our stay required only the initial communication with the owner. This initial communication provided the check-in and check-out details. We had the property to ourselves the entire time, no unexpected visits from the owner or contractors. The queen bed could use a new mattress, and the water pressure was low, but that would not cause me to lower my review. The location can't be beat - less than a mile to park entrance. Very close to the carriage rides. Super close to the land preserve. Clean and agree with prior renter who appreciated lack of mildew smell sometimes an issue in other properties. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent location

We stayed here for a few days while we explored Acadia National Park. The location couldn’t have been better. It was a little confusing to find because if you hit “get directions” from within the VRBO app it takes you to the wrong address. The guide the host sends does a good job explaining how to find it, but we arrived after dark so it was a little difficult. If you don’t use the “get directions” button and manually put it into your GPS you should be fine. It’s a great location though. You could walk to Jordan Pond if you wanted. Everything we wanted to do was within a 5-30 minute drive. Very quiet too. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We are a local, year-round family who moved to the island for all of the same reasons you are looking to vacation here. We spend time in the park every day, whether it is a walk on the carriage roads, a hike up nearby Pemetic, Penobscot, or Cadillac, or a morning run up those same mountains. In the summer, we also spend as much time as possible kayaking, sailing and fishing in the Great Harbor or swimming in nearby favorite swimming holes. We live nearby and will be available to help with anything needed during your stay. We may even be willing to share some insider tips on hidden gems around the island … maybe ;-)

Enjoy Acadia the way it was meant to be enjoyed - the way the Rockefellers and Rusticators enjoyed it - in the peace and quiet of Seal Harbor. Acadia is literally across the street and carriage road entry is a short walk down the road, with easy access to Cadillac, Pemetic, Penobscot, Sargent, and Day mountains and all of the area surrounding Jordan Pond. No need to get in the car to enjoy the Park! Seal Harbor Beach and the lovely Great Harbor area are a short walk down the hill.
