We’ve had such an amazing stay. The island is beautiful, although quite expensive. The property was clean on arrival and had everything we needed for our stay - the only addition it needs is a full length mirror and a mirror with a light. As there are no windows in the bedrooms or bathroom, it’s tricky to use a small mirror without additional lighting. It was cleaned every 4 days, which made such a difference. All in all would highly recommend!

We stayed in this property at the end of July. It is located in a quiet village with a central location on Santorini, and there are two lovely restaurants within a short distance. A car is definitely essential if you want to explore the island. The cave house stayed wonderfully cool, and the terrace with the pool, which is located a little higher up, offers beautiful views. We arrived in Santorini early and were able to check in ahead of time, which we really appreciated. Yiota responded quickly to our questions.The only downside was a toilet that had been leaking from the beginning of our stay. A plumber came twice but was unable to fix the problem, so we only had one working toilet available for most of our stay.

For the value, it’s a great space. Enjoyed going to see Eva each morning for a coffee and chat. We ate at Mexi-mas 3 times. My advice would be to rent a car. They will deliver the car to the property if needed. If being overly critical, get ready to hit your head on the bathroom doorways, the smell in one of the bathrooms is noticeable and the coffee machine needs to be replaced. Tip - the coffee maker needs to be filled to the top and takes 45 minutes… Besides that we had a great stay. We’ve never slept so well in our lives with the comfortable beds and since the bedrooms are in a cave with little sunlight getting in. One other thing to keep in mind is that the view is great from the pool but it’s not on the caldera side. We hiked the trail to Oia so had those views but just know before you go. But again, for the value, this property is a great choice.

Great accomodation in Santorini

We had a lovely time away staying at this accommodation. It ticked the boxes for us and Mark, the host, was excellent!

Beautiful view and quite place

It has been a beaut stay with very nice hosts- a pool with a magnificent view- and we liked the more quite side Of Santorini and the very good restaurant nearby

The host was phenomenal. Very attentive to our needs and friendly. Our connecting flight from Athens to Santorini was over an hour late (arrived just after midnight) but there he was smiling and welcoming us. He patiently answered all our questions. So nice!

Perfect Location to Explore the Island

My wife and teenage daughter and I stayed at the villa for 4 days in July and it suited our needs perfectly!! Centrally located making it convenient for Fira, Oia and the beaches at Perissa and Kamara. Our host, Mery, was super helpful especially with restaurant recommendations and transport around the island as we didn’t rent a car. The pool with the villa was a great plus for all of us as were the great restaurant choices within easy walking distance. A beautiful place in a great location - definitely would stay at Cavern House Anthea again!!

Beautiful property set in ideal location with wonderful host!

Our first time to Santorini and we were not let down. Panos greated us and immediately we felt as ease and welcome. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to explore the beauty of this amazing picture perfect island.

Amazing property with stunning views!!! 5*****

We had an amazing week and would highly recommend this villa! The villa was clean, well equipped and had a great welcome pack, which included Ham, Cheese, Beer, Water etc. The Villa is in a great location, you will definitely need a car if you want to explore the island. Would definitely stay here again if we returned to Santorini!

The property was pretty much what I had expected. The location was much more remote.

We enjoyed our stay. Disappointed that there was no where to go for coffee, a drink, or to just hang out. The wonderful resturant, Metaxi Mas, was definitely a God-send.

Cavern house Anthea

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Sarah and Eddy. The house is beautifully situated on a mountain near one of the best restaurants on the island, well-maintained and generally a lovely place to relax. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Holiday!

We booked to stay at Villa House Anthea for our holiday in Santorini and absolutely loved it. Sarah (the owner) and Iro (villa manager) were so helpful in making our holiday stress free and definitely one to remember. We visited Santorini for a wedding and the bride used to villa to get ready in and for her pre-ceremony photos. The location/accommodation was stunning!

We loved this cavern house with the great view from the nice terrace. Everything was nice, clean and we had everything we needed. Thank you, Sarah, we enjoyed every moment. It´s the best place in Santorini, better than Fira and Oia.

Holiday with friends

The villa is beautiful and the owner Sarah and manager Mark could not have been more helpful. However the location of the villa is remote and the only viable transport is via car rental.

perfect location, fantastic views

We had a wonderful time in this cave house. The location is perfect central location to explore this wonderful island. This is an excellent property fully meeting the description. The help and support from the house manager was also excellent. There are many lovely places to visit and eat, difficult to chose from. Sunset cruise was magical. We will be going back.

A gem!

We were very lucky to find Anthea - Kimberly was an amazing host and we loved being in the beautiful village of Exo Gonia, away from the more touristy parts of the island. It is in a lovely location with a stunning view and the villa itself is charming and spacious. We also fell in love with the three cats who live nearby - they were so gentle and affectionate, they were the icing on the cake to a perfect stay.
