Merci pour ce commentaire. Le problème de bruit que vous mentionnez doit est maintenant résolu. Les travaux de rénovation de la cour ont été plus longs que prévus et ne sont plus qu'un mauvais souvenir. Nous sommes intervenus auprès des voisins indélicats. Le loft a retrouvé son appellation de "seul endroit calme au sein du Quartier Latin"!

Dear Ketty, Thank you for these valuable comments. We always carefully review 4* comments since we usually get 5*. We ask then our hosts what we can improve. We experiment your 1* dissatisfaction. We are willing to take advantage of it to improve - You complained about the absence of fresh air: our hosts generally discover on their own how to open the windows and how to turn on the fan if needed. We shall carefully check in the future that they know how to do it, - As you do, we regret trash cans in the courtyard, but they are unfortunately necessary because it is not the custom in France to accumulate waste directly on the ground; nobody reported nuisance in this respect; however, you indicate that you opened the door to get closer to the trash cans while generally our hosts do not look for their closeness, - You regret the height under ceiling of the mezzanine: we try hard to be as accurate as we can in the description of our property; we mention a loft and not an apartment, specify that the height under ceiling is 1,30 meter (our guests usually understand that it is necessary to an average human being to bend), specify that the staircase to reach it is stiff, and believe that the photos we posted describe this perfectly. Very stiff or elderly people sleep generally on the large sofa in the main room and are very satisfied with it, - We are sorry about the inconvenience due to the rain and to the problem of roof; if you had mentioned this earlier, we would have it fixed as soon as possible, - We are very proud of the authentic “bistrot table” and of the chairs that we bought at Maison du Monde, a very well-known shop in France. As you mention and as it is shown on the pictures, these chairs are actually pink. Until today we received no visitor to whom this color seems to evoke painful personal memories. Given your reaction we wonder if it is necessary to post a special notice to prevent possible psychological shocks. We hope that you appreciated our quick responses when you asked us for an early check-in and that you liked the coffee machine since you needed to know before your arrival the exact type of machine we had. Thank you again for all these valuable suggestions. We are happy to know that you had a safe trip back and wish you very pleasant stays in other properties.

Dear Charles, I take note of your surrealist comment. It is true that your stay started badly. You complained on the day of your arrival that you could not find the key in the keybox even though you arrived 3 hours before check-in time without warning, and then about the complexity of the internet password because you did not know how to scan a QR code. You have not read the description, which clearly indicates that the mezzanine ceiling is low (1.35 meters), that there is no air conditioning (useless in France until recently: don’t hesitate to tell your president that climate is a real issue), nor the entrance instructions that clearly explain how to open the windows, which all our visitors manage to do. You were finally asking for an emergency exit 😊 and I forgot about other complaints. I can only attribute your inflammatory comment to personal problems that I sincerely hope you have been able to resolve since then. Fortunately, almost all of our visitors are delighted with their stay!
