The host was very personable and accommodating. The place was gorgeous so much so that I was dreaming to own it! The location is perfect, within 15-30 minutes from Kahului, Kaanapali, Wailea and all the more populous places. Waking up to the gorgeous views of the ocean was invigorating. I would totally stay here again!

This property is exactly as pictured. It’s clean and it is fully stocked with whatever you might need. Tons of towels for the beach and pool area. Beach chairs, a cooler. And all the kitchen supplies you would need. We like to cook and there wasn’t one thing we didn’t have. It is right next to the Harbor for any excursions you might want to take. There are a few wonderful restaurants in walking distance. We ate at two of them and they were absolutely amazing. We unfortunately were there during the big storm so we didn’t get to do much and were in the condo a lot. But we had an amazing view and even spotted some whales in the Bay. Bring your binoculars!! Thank you again Barbara for the easy communication. We hope to be able to come back when we can experience more of the Island. And hopefully your place will be available!

Great Spot to relax and rest

What a great place- perfect for 2 couples. Location was great for doing all things on the entire island. Loved the location- great for catching the whale watching excursions.

Whales and Turtles

There were turtles in the ocean near the shore every evening. It was fun to watch them while eating dinner on the lanai. We also saw several whales from the lanai throughout our stay - we even saw a mom and baby relatively close and the mom seemed to be showing the baby how to tail slap and fin slap (binoculars were not needed). The kitchen/dining room and living room were spacious and well-furnished. The beds were comfortable - all the rooms had their own a/c unit and ceiling fan. Parking was simple with our designated spot.

Great location

Condo was right on the water, very clean and comfortable. Wall of windows overlooking the ocean was great. Nice breeze in the evening. Some may not like the location right next to the marina, but that provided walking distance to restaurants, the aquarium, and boats leaving for sunset cruises. Entrance to the building is not the most appealing, but you get over that once inside . Would definitely repeat !

Lanai is amazing!

Enjoyed our stay mostly. Construction going on below and some repairs are needed. Several overhead fans not working.

Great stay at an awesome centralized location.

We enjoyed the comfort and views this condo had to offer. It is located in the breezy area of the island which keeps the temperatures much lower than say Lahaina area. The living frontage/view are much wider compared to other units that put a bedroom up front. It was the perfect location for access to the wind surfing beach by the airport and local food/shopping that area has to offer,,, plus access to Lahaina, Kahie, Haleakala summit and even Rd to Hana off the back side for a fantastic but a bit of a challenging ride! We had an amazing time!!!! Thank you :)

Lovely area

We stayed in May. The description is a little off regarding luxury, but we all have different definitions. There is not a primary bedroom. Meaning no bathroom is connected to a bedroom. We had a few issues while there with hot water, ac, and fans breaking. The view was great.

Aloha and thanks for the review. Just to clarify, the bathroom is right next to the master bedroom, just not an en suite. Many people come to our Island and discover the small sizes compared to the mainland.....smaller parking spots, less roads to go places and smaller hot water heaters. Spacing out showers, laundry and dishwasher use helps greatly! The ceiling fan has been replaced.

Perfect spot!

I truly couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else while on Maui! This condo was centrally located, corner unit, beautiful view, spacious and just plain incredible! We saw turtles every morning and evening in the water from the balcony, saw some sting rays in the bay as well. We ate at the general store most mornings for breakfast and they had little odds and ends we needed. We could get anywhere on the island within such a short drive! We took a boat tour at the marina and got to see dolphins and snorkel. We had the best time! They had chairs and an umbrella for the beach. They had dishes for us to cook. It truly felt like home for almost two weeks. We will absolutely be back!

PROS: Central Maui Location. Close to the airport. 2 great bedrooms. Fun SeaTurtles to watch outside just steps away. Updated kitchen. New comfortable recliner couch. Cons: I would not have stayed here had I known my friend in a wheelchair could NOT get down to the pool or lawn area. (Not ADA friendly). The condo is in the flight path to the airport so loud low flying aircraft. The lanai pictures are misleading with the newer or different furniture. (Neeeds to be updated)

Gorgeous Maui

The condo is beautiful and right on the ocean. I loved that the condo had A/C and a large lanai to sit out and relax on. We also saw lots of turtles. The location is very central which makes it easy to drive to all areas of the island. I was disappointed with the construction blocking the view and the loud noise, but realize that this is not always going to be an issue for future visitors. I just wish I had been notified ahead of time. The property manager did give a small discount after the fact, which was nice. Also, for future reference if you want to get ahold of the property manager text her directly, it was difficult to get her to respond within the VRBO app.

loha and thanks for the great review. Yes the sea wall, which was falling into the ocean, repair will be done at the end of this month (May) and we'll have the strongest wall on the block! We have been notifying incoming guests ahead of time offering a full refund to go elsewhere or accept the discount we were offering and sorry to say we inadvertently skipped over Matthew. When it was discovered we sent the discount right away. And yes, text is sometimes the best and fastest way to communicate! Aloha, Barbara

Great Condo, Location, and Views

This well-equipped condo is neat, clean and very comfortable… a perfect ‘home away from home’. It is located in the upper south coast town of Maalaea which is a small, quiet town right on the harbor with a couple of walking distance restaurants, a convenience store, and the aquarium. The view from the condo is great overlooking the harbor and breakwater, with Kihei and Kaho’olawe in the distance. The condo has air conditioning which was quite welcomed when we were there in an unusually hot August. Unfortunately the air conditioning condensation pumps mounted on the walls in both bedrooms were quite noisy when they ran every so often (about 6 times an hour for 30 seconds each time). The apartment manager was attentive to this but was not able to fix the situation during our stay. Hopefully this situation has since been remedied. Neither bathroom is directly attached to either bedroom. One was in the hallway common with the bedrooms, and the other was located off the living room. This wasn’t an issue for us, just a bit odd. We would absolutely consider staying at this condo again provided the AC system noise has been remedied.

Oceanfront Maui Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful oceanfront property with sea turtles swimming up close and in view daily. The condo was well appointed and had up to date features. The double lanai was where we spent most of our time enjoying ocean breezes. The beds were clean and comfortable and we were able to walk to shops and local eateries. The gift basket was an added surprise and our fresh pineapple was enjoyed by all along with macadamia nut chocolates, Maui coffee, special teas and jam. We would definitely come back here! Our stay was relaxing and one of our best vacations!

Beautiful view!

Loved having coffee while watching for whales in the morning. Condo was super clean and equipped with everything we needed! Property manager Barbara was quick to respond to all our questions and needs. Condo is located close to marina and Aquarium but all other attractions you will need a car to get to.

Spectacular View!

The condo was beautiful, comfortable and the lanai was the best place for relaxation. We watched whales every day from the lanai, truly amazing experience! The bathrooms were clean and spacious, we only wished that the second bathroom was off the living room, not in the hallway with the bedrooms. We have recommended it to another couple who will be visiting Maui in the near future.
