Paradise

Beautiful, functional home located on a great part of the island. Enjoy the sunsets from the lovely screened in porch. Furnishings in living room could’ve stand a spruce up, but we thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home.

Thank you for your comments. As you can probably appreciate after staying on the island, bringing new furniture over is extremely difficult, and costly and often requires hiring a barge to transport it. However, the owner has just purchased new furniture for the living room so future guests will enjoy brand new furnishings.

The views are amazing. The house is very cute, clean and had basic necessities. I love this island. It was our second time to the island and first time to this house will definitely be returning. We made some wonderful memories. We also love that we could bring our dog. We can’t wait to book our next vacation.

Beautiful Island

Great stay at Surf’s Up!!! The house was larger than I anticipated with an efficiency like room downstairs. Very nice. And of course the view could not be beat!! Terry was very quick to respond to any questions we may of had. Brett went above to help with our stuff!! Thanks again. Great place!!

Top 5 family vacations!

This was in our top 5 family vacations for so many reasons! The kids and adults had a blast. The house is perfectly setup and the sleeping arrangements were comfortable. The house is closer to the beach than we expected based on photos but that was a welcome suprise. The island is beautiful and the fishing was amazing. The sunsets are breathtaking and the kids loved seeing the ghost crabs each night. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The no seeums weren't too bad, I recommend brining itch cream just in case. Overall the vacation was perfect and we all agreed we would come back!

NO CAMPING AT CAMP GOOD NOW!

Beautiful home inside and out! I have rented this home several times and it is very luxurious. The stairs give you a work out but once you learn to keep daily beaching drink and snack essentials down stairs in the outdoor living area, you are in heaven. Once you arrive on the 3rd floor, the master shower and the master balcony are an oasis of their own. You can see all marine life from this balcony. This home is perfect for 3 couples. Shoes are a must during the day to travel the board walk to & from the beach. The rental staff go above and beyond to make your stay most comfortable. 5+💫 for this home!

Perfect!

The house is a short walk from the dock, and grocery delivery service made that easy to manage. It’s mine and my two teens third time on the island, my boyfriend and his three kids first, all of our first time at this home. The home is beautiful, the three teenagers appreciated the separate area downstairs. The deck and walkway to the beach, along with the dry sand do get hot in the sun, so flip flops are recommended to get to the water. One thing the listing doesn’t mention that almost made me pass this house up is that it does have an outdoor shower under the home, and a sprayer at the bottom of the stairs to the front of the house, which are amazing for getting the sand off instead of tracking it in! The home is decorated tastefully, and has an amazing view of the gulf! It has two full baths on the main level, and a half bath in the downstairs apartment. It does have a Murphy bed in the laundry room but we didn’t need to use it, we fit 7 comfortably. Our five kids had a blast on the beach and it was nice to have the room to eat together in the kitchen. We would definitely rent this home again!

Picture perfect!

Probably the best 2 weeks of our lives! Waking up every morning to the sound of the waves was like a dream. Started every morning with a long walk on the beautiful beach. I’ve never seen so many shells! And the weather was absolutely perfect. The accommodations were wonderful. Comfortable, clean, and cute. I have absolutely nothing negative to say! Would book this property again in a heartbeat!

Peaceful and Relaxing Christmas Week Away from the Mainland

We thoroughly enjoyed Surf’s Up. The cottage has a great view and sits on the beach. The sunsets were beautiful. We brought our 3 dogs, and they loved it. The island is very dog-friendly. Everyone we encountered on the island was very friendly. We brought our 45 foot power catamaran down from Tampa Bay, which we anchored off the reserved dock. We island hopped and explored the area by water each morning and then relaxed on the beach in the afternoons. San Pedro State Park was a great spot to let the dogs run loose and enjoy the natural setting. The concierge (Terry) was friendly and helpful (and responsive). The boat taxi captain (Austin) was very nice. Brett escorted us to the cottage. Derrick from LGI Golf Cart Rentals was great. Everything was seamless. We highly recommend this property and the island.

Fun for the entire family!

My family and I had the best vacation staying at Surfs up. We have four children and they ALL loved it and want to go back! It’s awesome to be right on the beach!

Perfect Family Getaway!

Great house house with plenty of space! Clean with fun surf themed decor, and sleeping quarters for the whole family. I loved the private wood walkway that lead right to the beach! Hang ten!
