This popular property is located in the preferred location of the Laguna Beach Village. Laguna Beach is a highly desirable beach side community and this property is in the perfect location. Please note that many of the other listings that pop up may not even be in the city of Laguna Beach. If you want to be in the best location…this is it. You will be very happy with this choice.

If you are in search of a special place and location this is the one.

This property has a wonderful ocean views and is located in the immediate downtown area of Laguna Beach. This property is walking distance to the beach, shopping district, entertainment district, 100+ restaurants, ice cream parlors, art galleries, Pageant of the Masters and world famous art festivals, museums, etc., etc. Very nearby are the community swimming pool, tennis courts and jogging track. The nearest beach has a playground, basketball courts, volleyball courts and tide pools. The property is located in within a 5-minute walk to the main downtown area. Many other beautiful beaches are steps away. This really is an exceptional location.

This property is exceptional and maintained very well. Totally remodeled. Newer hardwood flooring, newer Air Conditioning and Heating system, newer kitchen, newer pots, pans, dishes and flatware, newer cabinets, newer appliances, newer BBQ, newer furniture, newer bedding, newer linens, towels and more. Also there is a washer / dryer, fireplace and parking spot. Also provided are beach chairs, beach towels and a beach umbrella.

While the reviews are wonderful they are older as this property has not been available/rented for over 7 years now. It is now reactivated on a limited rental basis. We currently have availability from January 14 through and including the night of Feb 17, 2023. The property is entirely updated and are not part of any of the previous reviews. All updates to the property are after the latest reviews. The property has been lovingly restored over the years. EVERYTHING is newer and maintained very well. This is a really good property at a great value. This home has a maximum overnight occupancy of 6.

The property has a large front deck that is private and fully enclosed and has ocean views and cool ocean breezes. The front deck provides the perfect spot for you and your family and guests to enjoy the ocean views and sunsets while sitting at the glass counter top bar area enjoying your favorite food and beverages or enjoy the other seating and lounging options provided along with the fire pits.

The home has a very nice private and fully enclosed backyard with multiple eating areas, sitting areas and an upgraded built in BBQ. There is a large screen TV with plenty of seating and space to enjoy your favorite shows, movie or sporting event. An overhead awning can be extended over the viewing area and creates a wonderful outdoor living room complete with outdoor lighting, fire pit, Magnolia trees and more.

The grounds are meticulously maintained and the walkways are decorated with wall art, flowers and trees. Plantings, flowers and trees are planted in such a way to enhance your senses with fragrances, colors and beauty and also attract butterflies, hummingbirds and birds, in general.

You will welcome all the little details that have been thought of in advance to make your stay both easy and wonderful. Both inside and out, you will find this property to be a delight and one you will want to come back to….like so many of our other guests. We look forward to having you enjoy the property.

This home has a maximum overnight occupancy of 6 and has 3 Bedrooms.

The front primary bedroom and the living room area both have ocean views and open up through French sliding doors to the front decks. The front deck extends across the front of the property and is furnished wonderfully.

The master bedroom has ocean views, an upgraded queen size bed, updated furniture and a flat screen TV.

The 2nd and 3rd Bedrooms each have upgraded queen mattresses and linens. Each bedroom has their own TV; one is a 37” flat screen and the other is a 50” flat screen.

The living room area has a newer sofa, newer chairs, desk and a 50 inch Flat Screen TV.

The kitchen has a gas Thermador oven/cooktop and is fully stocked with most cooking appliances and utensils. This area has countertop seating for 4 and opens up to the beautiful backyard.

The property is appropriate for children and pets can be approved.

BUT, PETS MUST BE APPROVED.

Beach towels, chairs & beach umbrellas are provided. The property has everything needed for a great stay.

The grounds are meticulously maintained and the walkways are decorated with wall art, flowers and trees. Plantings, flowers and trees are planted in such a way to enhance your senses with fragrances, colors and beauty and also attract butterflies, hummingbirds and birds, in general.

Paradise vacation

Our family of 6 from Ohio enjoyed our vacation in Laguna Beach. This property was a perfect location......great walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. Also, Bob provided all the amenities to help make our stay more relaxing. We would definitely return to this beautiful beach house!

Charming, well-kept, fully-featured property

The house was ideal for a family travelling with a baby. It was a short walk to the beach and main strip. Also, the porch that overlooks the ocean makes a wonderful spot to enjoy a glass of wine. We'd highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay

My parents from the UK and us from Sydney stayed here for 15 nights. We had a lovely time, the house was very well equipped with everything you need and more which made it home from home and made our stay very easy and hassle free. Very clean and met with the description. The location was fabulous walking distance from the beach and cafes and restaurants. The owner was great to deal with and we would highly recommend if visiting Laguna Beach.

Sad to Leave

This place was awesome. We stayed for 2 weeks and loved our time here. Beautiful porch for viewing ocean while sharing a bottle of wine. Roomy for family of 4 and perfect walking distance to all amenities including ocean. Lovely, and very tastefully updated and owner was attentive all needs. Would definitely come back here to stay!!

Our favorite place in Laguna

We always enjoy staying here. All units are very clean and much better equipped than other rentals that we have seen. The views are wonderful. Not suitable for disabled because of many steps. They accept most pets like our cat.

Return Visit Just As Nice As First

Although we've been fortunate with our VRBO stays, this is the first we've actually returned too. Terrific location for walking downtown with easy parking. Bob is easy to do business with and was prompt with all communications. Looking forward to our next return to Laguna Beach and stay at Bob's property!

Great place and great time!

Thanks for a great week. We enjoyed the view which was better than expected. Easy walk to town and beach...which we did several times per day. Everything we needed was in place. We told Bob to keep our deposit and book us for 2012. We're looking foward to another great week.

Outstanding

This property is perfect. We are a family of five, with three young kids (under 4), and it was just what we needed. All the amenities are there. Just a short walk (a few blocks) to the beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. Owner was great. As an added benefit, the owner's wife is a professional photographer and has won various awards in Orange County. We did a family photoshoot on the beach and she was fantastic to work with. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent Property

We stayed at the property for 10 days. The house is in immaculate condition and is just as nice as the photo's make it look. The ocean view is fabulous and the house contains everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The property manager is extremely friendly and very helpful. The house is only a very short walk to the town center and the beach. We will definitely be coming back and I would recommend the property and the property manager to anybody looking to rent a vacation home in the area.

Wonderful Stay

The pictures don't really do this home justice... The pics look amazing, but the unit truly exceeded our expectations! It is tastefully furnished and has all the amenities you would expect from a more expensive rental; this home has a warm and welcoming feel. The balcony is great and you can sit and watch the ocean -- beach access is close by, only a five (5) minute walk. Moreover, the owner was gracious and extremely accommodating. I would recommend this home and would stay here again!

Beautiful Home in Beautiful Laguna Beach

We stayed in this house for a week with our two married children and our grandson. It was a perfect location for parking the car and walking to the beach, restaurants and activities. The house is exactly as described with friendly, quiet neighbors. The ocean view and sunsets from the balcony are breathtaking. We ate in the village and BBQ'd at the house - all without getting back in the car the entire week. The owner, Bob, was very accomodating and the house was immaculate with comfy beds and nice bathrooms. We have recommended to many friends and certainly hope to return to this house again.

Just Perfect - Exactly what the Dr. Ordered - and more....

The photos on here don't do the house justice - the ocean view from the outside terrace, main bedroom, or living room is exquisite.... The property's location is phenomenal. A 5 min walk (tops) to everything, beach, shops and restaurants.... Quality linens and furniture and meticulously clean. And - if any future stayers are interested - there's a lovely, heated, community pool a few hundred yards up the hill from the house which was great. We only came across it in the final few days of our stay, which was fine, but in case anyone does as we did and stumble across it, I hope this info is helpfully. Many Thanks for giving us a perfect base to maximise our enjoyment for our time in S Cali Mike

AWESOME

We have stayed at this property, and the one bedroom adjacent by the same owner, at least 6 times now and it is amazing. The unit is a five minute walk from the beach, town and Whole Foods. We park the car and don't need to drive until check out. The upkeep is immaculate, literally spotless. The three bedroom home is enormous, private and gorgeous with a huge front porch and private backyard with barbecue. I stay with my two children and we could easily invite another family and still have space to spare. We rent in Laguna at least 20 times a year and this is far and away the best rental property we have ever stayed in.

Wonderful beach house in great location

One of the very best houses we have rented at Laguna Beach! As others have said the house is even better in person than the photos reflect. We found we had everything we needed and more for the beach: comfortable chairs, towels and umbrellas. The house was very clean with quality linens, ample bath towels, kitchen supplies, washer/dryer, TVs in each room,, DVD player, stereo and more. The location was perfect; a quick walk to the beach, shops and restaurants yet just far enough away to have an amazing ocean view from the veranda and quiet for sleeping with the windows open to soak up that fresh ocean air. Bob the owner was easy to work with. He was attentive but not intrusive and promptly returned our security deposit. I highly recommend this lovely home in Laguna Beach.

Delightful vacation home, perfect location!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed a week at this property! The location is perfect, as it has a beautiful view, with a quiet setting, and then it's only a five to ten minute walk to town and the main beach. The house is well maintained, clean, and was very comfortable for our family of five, which included our adult son, our daughter and son-in-law. The listing description and pictures are definitely accurate, and the view is more beautiful than pictured. It was so relaxing to get up in the morning, sip coffee on the front porch, hear the waves... then gradually get ready and walk down to the beach. We loved being able to BBQ and enjoy meals on the back patio. The sunsets were beautiful from the front porch! The owner, Bob, was so easy to work with, and was very helpful. We came home to Virginia full of sweet memories of our stay at this home in Laguna Beach. We're definitely having withdrawals!

A little piece of Laguna heaven

Our family thoroughly enjoyed every day of our stay in this special home. It was spacious yet cozy and we felt completely safe with the young children. The location is impeccable. Everything you need is either in the house or easily attainable close by. You feel private and at the same time a part of the charming atmosphere which is Laguna Beach. We love NOT having to use a car. Walking and taking the local trolley gets you up and down the coast and canyon to a host of beaches, restaurants, parks, playgrounds, sightseeing adventures, as much or as little as you like. Birds and flowers surround you in this secret garden paradise. Smell the coffee. Sip the wine. Enjoy this little piece of Laguna heaven. Save our spot. We'll be back!

Relaxing vacation

We actually shared this property with some friends during the month. Since this was during the holiday of Thansgiving, we also invited family to join us. We prepared the turkey and had much room for everyone to enjoy. We brought our tennis rackets and found quite a few tennis courts straight up Park Drive. We tried several new restaurants. Nicks was excellent, Pelican Hill was wonderful. We walked almost daily and you almost do not need a car since everything is so close. We also went to Disneyland during our stay. The property was clean and nicely decorated. All three bedrooms have queen size beds that were very comfortable. The VIEWS!! and the great courtyard... What more can you say. We have recommended this property to our friends and family.

Comfortable, Laguna Beach property, close to everything and walking distance to the beach!

We were very happy with our experience with the owner. He was very helpful in giving us information when we were planning our trip. He greeted us upon arrival. The house was very nice. It was comfortable and not too fancy for a beach house. It was also perfect for families with young children. The owner knew we had a baby and provided us with strollers, a high chair and a pack n play. The description is accurate in the listing. However, I think the house is nicer than the listing shows. It is hard for the pictures to do the property justice. The property was well maintained, but again, it was relaxed and comfortable to come home to after a day on the beach. I would definitely recommend this property, especially to families or couples. It is so close to really great restaurants and the beach. The location can't be beat! And, the property comes with two parking spots!

Excellent Vacation Property!

We are a family of four, and we recently stayed at this vacation rental. I can not say enough good things about this property.... It was everything we hoped for in a vacation home. The owner, Bob, was extremely accommodating and very easy to communicate with. The transactions with Bob were very smooth and flawless. The location of this property is ideal... very close to town (a short walk) but far enough away that the property is very quiet. In fact, you can hear the ocean waves in the evening. The property is very clean and well maintained and has everything (and more!) you may possibly need. We were pleasantly surprised to find many board games in one of the closets. The beds were extremely comfortable and our two young children were delighted to have their own rooms. The backyard is very peaceful and we enjoyed having our breakfast on the back patio. We had a wonderful stay at this property and can not wait to return. We will be back!

Our new must-stay property in Laguna Beach

Wow! Where do I start? I come to southern California for the same investor conference every year. This time, my wife and I decided to turn the trip into a mini-vacation without our kids. This is the first time I've rented this unit, but it certainly won't be my last. It was honestly the best VRBO experience that I have ever had. We plan to make this trip (and this unit) an annual thing going forward. Location: A short 5 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and beach. At the same time, on a very quiet street with virtually no traffic. Views: Great/clear/unobstructed view of both ocean and hills. Really much better than we were expecting. Space: Well laid out, very private, with a warm cottage feel. Kitchen: Well equipped with great new Thermador appliances. Furniture: Extremely comfortable and well-decorated. Property Management: Bob was incredibly proffessional and easy to work with. The booking process was painless and check-in/out was smooth and stress-free.

Really nice beach cottage

This house has the look and feel of a beach cottage but is located in a nice neighborhood with a great view! The other reviews are right! The pictures do not do this house justice. I was not impressed with the pictures of the kitchen and was dreading cooking in it until we got there! It's really cute and unlike the pictures the cabinets are not green. They are beige. And the kitchen is VERY CLEAN! The beds are super comfortable. The house is clean and well kept. I was really impressed with the detailing done in the house - the moulding, the covers on chords, coasters, etc. Really nicely done! And we did not have to bring beach towels, chairs, umbrella etc. The house had everything! Even board games! Bob was easy to work with and very professional. My parents got the master bedroom suite with the view. My mom could not believe that she woke up each morning to a view of the ocean! My mom and I loved walked up the hill behind the house to see all the other beautiful homes in the area and the walk to town and main beach was literally 5 minutes as promised! One of our favorite times each day was making a big breakfast and eating out back on the big picnic table each morning and feeling the ocean breeze. It was awesome! We've rented 4 other times from VRBO in Laguna and this is our favorite house. We will return next year for sure!

My family and I have flown from Atlanta and have stayed in the Main house two separate months over the last two years and are absolutely sick we can't make it back this year! There is no other home we would stay in after our experience with this Home and the Owner. In fact, I hate writing such a good review because I want to make sure this home is available anytime my family and I travel...however you would be missing out on all that Laguna Beach has to offer if you did not stay Here! The house itself has Everything! It is truly a Picturesque and fully Updated Cottage home overlooking Downtown Laguna and offering breathtaking views of the Ocean...oh and amazing Sunsets. If you like the Sunsets here at the house Be Sure and take a 5 minute car ride just up the Street to Alta Laguna Park (Top of the World) and enjoy the most breathtaking sunsets Laguna can Offer. This house has everything needed for a short stay or a month long stay like my family did. We have two young children and the owner even had a pack n play, highchair, and strollers waiting on us when we arrived for our youngest. You walk literally three blocks and you are in the heart of downtown Laguna and the Shops, Restaurants, and Beaches. With young kids that made life in Laguna Incredibly easy! The owner lives in Laguna as well and is a wealth of knowledge on all the things both to do and not to do. Having been two times now my wife and I feel like it's "Our Home" and our kids ask all the time when are we going back. We even flew our parents out to visit for a week and they stayed behind the home in one of the Owners 1 Bedroom Studio Apartments which was perfect for them. If you want to experience an authentic Laguna Beach stay, then I would say there is no other place that can provide the total package like this property. We can't say thanks enough to the owner for providing the Best Secret in Laguna!

This property has been lovingly restored over the years and you will notice the attention to details upon your arrival. The property is designed to provide privacy yet take in the unmatched ocean views at the same time. Whether you like watching the gorgeous sunsets over Catalina Island or watching the waves crash there is something for everyone to enjoy at this property.
