Aloha and Mahalo Nui It was a pleasure to host you on your Holiday vacation. We loved that you enjoyed Kaanapali Shores. Since this property is managed by an outside management company instead of the large resort we are able to offer our guests a discounted rate and that they are able to rent the property that they viewed online and not just given any room that is open. We do our very best to accommodate late checkouts however, we do need the approval of the housekeepers and to make sure it does not disrupt their schedule. If a guest is checking in on the same day we are not able to accommodate any late checkouts. This is one reason we do recommend that if a guest has a late flight that they book the extra night so that they can stay at the condo as long as they would like. Please note that the VRBO fees and property management fees are separate entities, but we understand that it can be frustrating to have to pay both. Nevertheless, we're glad you found the beds comfortable and enjoyed the great views. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the dishwasher replacement during your stay. While we were unable to provide a new unit for you, we appreciate your understanding and we hope the new bottom rack helped. Thank you for your suggestion regarding a wagon to haul the chairs, body boards, and umbrella to the beach. We will take note of that for future improvements. We also appreciate your suggestion for having plastic glasses or lidded Yeti type mugs in the room. It's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the food trucks in front of the property and found the grocery store across the street convenient. We're glad your niece enjoyed the pools and agreed that the beach at our location is better. We're also pleased that you enjoyed the on-site restaurant and found the prices reasonable.
