Summary:

Build your Maui days around a walk to Kaʻanapali Beach, an afternoon snorkel near Black Rock, and dinner on your own lanai after sunset. This two-story condo at Kaʻanapali Royal sleeps up to four in two bedrooms and gives families room to spread out, with a full kitchen, two baths, and a private lanai with a gas grill. On the grounds, the shared pool, hot tub, and tennis courts make it easy to keep the kids moving when you are not at the beach. Whalers Village is about half a mile away for restaurants and shopping, while the Kaʻanapali Golf Courses are nearby for anyone planning a tee time. Mountain and golf-course views add a quieter backdrop to the home. This is a smart West Maui fit for a family or couple traveling with friends who want beach access, dining, and resort amenities in the same easy orbit.



The Space:

The two-story layout gives up to five guests room to reset after the beach, with two bedrooms, two baths, and two beds. A full kitchen with dishwasher makes family meals simple, and the private lanai has a gas grill for dinner outdoors. Mountain and golf-course views frame the home, while the living areas invite an easy evening in after Kaʻanapali Beach.



Guest Access:

This Ka'anapali Royal condo offers access to the outdoor communal pool and hot tub, along with a private lanai and BBQ grill for outdoor dining. Paid parking is available on site or off premises, and the property is set near the beach with golf course views close by. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.



The Neighborhood:

Kaʻanapali is made for easy West Maui days. Its long beach runs past resorts and Whalers Village, where you can find restaurants, shops, and a convenient place to gather the family. Black Rock sits at the north end of the beach for snorkeling and seasonal whale watching, while the Kaʻanapali Golf Courses are nearby. The area is polished and practical, with lots to do close together, which makes it especially good for families who want a beach morning, lunch out, and a pool afternoon without much driving.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport is about 40 to 45 minutes away by car. A rental car is recommended for exploring West Maui, while Whalers Village and Ka'anapali Beach are within easy reach from the condo. Paid parking is available on site or off premises. Check current resort details before arrival.

This condo was well appointed and spacious. Great location in a property suitable for adults only or families. Pool was nice, and the grounds are well-maintained. Adjoins Kaanapali golf course and just a short walk to dining, shopping and beach!

Nice place to relax

The home was nice and very quiet. It's a bit far from the beach but makes up for it with the privacy. The pool and hotub were both nice and very clean. I would deffinately consider staying here again

Our Family Hawaii Vacation

We are very Happy to have stayed in Kaanapali Royal F303. The rooms were very spacious and the kitchen fully stocked. We loved the view of the golf course and the Ocean, The Beach was an easy walk on paved way, Thank You Vacasa.

Great location, the place is VERY clean and fully equipped with everything you need from beach supplies to cooking as well as making those blended drinks! Less than five minute walk to Whaler’s Village! Ten minute drive to Lahaina old town! Rent this place, you won’t be disappointed! Nice grounds and pool!!

Great location

Although dated this condo feels like a vintage throwback that was enjoyable. It’s spacious and has some great amenities but expect to see stains on the carpet and some of the furniture is past it’s lifespan.

Memories for a lifetime.

First time bringing our family of 5 to Maui and due to this wonderful place we definitely want to come back every year if not more. The location is near lots of shops, restaurants and beaches. It’s a short drive to Lahaina and Napili which offered beautiful beaches that are kid friendly for snorkeling or just swimming and turtle watching. It was the perfect place to create a lifetime of memories.

A lot of stairs but awesome Condo! Has all you need for the kitchen, grill, bar and all the toys for the beach!! AC was a nice surprise! Will definitely recommend! Thank you Vacasa!!

Great home away from home

We visit Maui just about every January and always stay at one of the condos in Kaanapali Royal. Each one is different, but they all have just about everything you need to feel at home, cook easy breakfast/lunch/dinner, and even do laundry in the condo if needed. Little extras (board games, puzzles, books) always on hand too and come in handy if there are ever rainy days. The pool and jacuzzi are great, and right outside of every condo, and the restaurants, shops and beaches are just a quick walk away. We love how quiet they are and how easy they make it for us to just relax and enjoy paradise.

Exceeded Expectations

Really nice place! Great value! Two stories, nice soft carpeting, very clean, big beautiful balcony, very well-stocked kitchen, plenty of beach supplies, and books. Two suggestions: clean better around the grill area, and include a Pack n Play or crib for babies! The place is so well-stocked otherwise, that it would be nice not to have to bring your own crib.

Great little space for small family

This was the ideal spot for our honeymoon. We brought our 16-year-old with us, so having the privacy of the upstairs area was wonderful. The house was well-equipped with all the beach essentials, which was perfect for our daily beach explorations on the island. It was a short drive to the shops and restaurants—something we planned to walk to, but after long days of exploring, walking wasn’t appealing. Still, it’s great to know walking was an option. Beds and pillows were super comfy and a great place to rest after long days in the sun. Would highly recommend staying in this place for its prime location and comfortable stay

The property was overall good. It is very dated. The carpets either need cleaned or replaced as they are very stained. Was great location to Kaanapoli beach/shopping. There was a moldy roll of paper towels under the kitchen sink. Thank you

Very nicely furnished place. All sports equipment, chairs, umbrellas needed for the beach were included, as well all kitchenware down to spices and welcoming chocolates. Loved the Tuscan style restroom and the large balcony. Easily walkable to the beach and whaler’s village. Minor downsides were that the stairs were a bit squeaky, BBQ grill was hardly working, and parking was additional (found out about it after getting a warning for not being registered). All in all though, loved it.

TO MANY STEPS to get to the condo

Loved the Condo set up ..Very roomy and open. View was great. But carrying things up was just too much. Also I feel at least one set parking space should be for the Condo. We had to park on the Very 1st parking lot two nights. Other than that the place was great.

Not updated but great location

Great location within medium-distance walk to Kaanapali Beach. Not updated. Appliances, countertops, bedding, furniture all appear to be roughly 20 years old. Clothes washer and dryer are old and loud. Faint grease smell coming from the oven. Extremely easy to check in using lockbox. When I booked, seemed considerably cheaper than other options within walking distance to Kanapalli Beach, so: location location location!

Everything you need!

While the condo is due for some updating, it was everything we needed and was perfect! Downsides were the 40 stairs to climb, but with elevation you are rewarded with ocean and sunset views. What really stood out to us was the customer service from Vacasa. We locked ourselves out on a Sunday and Busta got us back in the condo in less than an hour. On our checkout day we somehow left my purse in the unit. Abby and Santiago sent it to the Vacasa office with everything included. Both of these events could have derailed our stay but were quickly resolved before that could happen. I will absolutely book with Vacasa again!!!!

Overall good, but 40 uphill steps should be highlighted. A few things need attention: lock box is too small, upstairs toilet is loose, light downstairs is loose on pedestal, sliding door downstairs needs lubricant. Also, entrance and exit to upstairs shower is hazardous without rails.

This place needs work.

Good location near Whaler’s Village but this condo should not be rented out until some major work is completed. There was very bad water damage on the ceiling in one of the bedrooms and water damage in the living room and second upstairs bedroom and it looked like the worst was ready to collapse and it is moldy. The carpets are dirt and water stained and need replacing. There were ants in the kitchen we could not get rid of. We requested to be moved out of this condo after 2 nights. My sister-in-law was getting sick (cough, headache and runny nose from the mold. We stayed in another condo in this resort se real years ago and we liked it but we were taken aback by the condition of this condo.

1980’s flash back

I’ve stayed in many rentals in my years of travel. This is my first negative review. The couch was so disgusting. It’s stained, old, oily and damp, I put a towel on it to sit on it. Something I’ve never done before. Everything in the kitchen but the coffee maker was like stepping in to a 1980’s Time Machine. The curtains in the living room and upstairs master bathroom are also decades old. They’re ripped and stained. I kindly sent a message to Vacasa. Every response was, “We are so sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues, our goal to to perfect customer service.” Then nothing. No help. No communication. I reach out again, same response. I have found that Vacasa is horrible to communicate with. Period. It might be helpful to include in the listing that there are exactly 40 steps to get to the front door. It’s also extremely frustrating to have to pay for daily parking when there are no parking fees!! I spoke to 2 owners. It’s just a way for vacasa to make more money off guests. When walking to whalers village, it seems so close, yet so far due to having to walk around the golf course. At night, you can walk through, otherwise, it takes a hot minute. Suffice to say, I’d never stay there again.
