Perfect Location

Property exactly as described. Amazing view and right by the town square. Golfcart rental and market next door. We had a few minor issues bc of a tropical storm but the host ensured we were able to arrive at a different casita with same view. We had an issue with the door one day and the manager was on site in less than 5 minutes and worked to get us in. Pool was clean and cold and other amenities were as described as well. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Wonderful stay

Our three day stay in Tampico was quiet, clean, safe and relaxing. The location is close to everything on the north island. The ocean view was gorgeous and we enjoyed listening to a festival in the plaza one evening from our patio. We’ll definitely stay here again and suggest it to family and friends.

Checked all our boxes, excellent location

Convenient location with just a quick walk from ferry terminal. My husband and I really enjoyed our 4 nights in Tampico. The room was well equipped (you will need to bring your own shampoo & conditioner). We particularly appreciated the 5 gallon water dispenser. Make sure to bring a water bottle with you to the island. The weather in the summer is HOT and the drinking water a necessity. Many beaches, shopping, and dining options are an easy walk. When you want to visit the other side of the island you can rent golf carts right next door. The Super Aki has grocery items, but we recommend driving to the big Chedraui supermarket to find the best selection. The views from the balcony and shower window are amazing. We caught the sunrise 3 of the 4 mornings. The second pool on the property is directly out the front door. Its small but felt private as we never had to share it with anyone. North Garden is a must visit for breakfast, our favorite. I would easily recommend this place to friends.

Wonderful Place

We stayed in the oceanfront villa Tampico and everything was perfect! Exceptionally clean rooms, very good air-conditioning, and quiet (except for the ocean waves). There are stairs if that is a problem for anyone. We would highly recommend this property.

Here again because this place is just great!

This is our 2nd stay at Villa San Miguel, and we are booked for a 3rd visit already! What we love: - location ocean front and in town close to everything we need, including access to supermarket, restaurants and Playa Norte and the boardwalk for lovely morning walks. - cleanliness - always spotless - spaciousness - we have stayed in units with balcony ocean front, 1 bedroom, full kitchen, dining and living room - lots of room! - so well appointed! We love the Mexican art and furniture and the bed and bathroom linens are thick and soft. The lighting is very good and so is the shower and faucet water pressure. - thoughtful touches: they provide big jugs of potable water in the units! What a treat! - responsive staff. Remember that these are condos not a hotel, so staff will not ve following you around to take your luggage in. If house keeping or maintenance needs attention, they are there for you. We did not have any issues with either, just noticed that they are on the grounds taking care of the units everyday if needed.

The listing on Vrbo couldn’t have been more accurate. It was clean, quiet , close to everything. Great views, and a great pool. Everything looked updated and fresh. I won’t stay anywhere else! Thanks for the hospitality!

Great location/ wrong time

We stayed in Tampico. Good location overall. Easy walk to beach/ restaurants/ferry. Manager went above and beyond. The big negative was we stayed during the 2 week anniversary celebration which happens every year. There were bands performing every night- usually started around 9:00PM and would not end until after 1:00AM. It was so loud it actually vibrated the walls in villa. There was a carnival just off back balcony- forget hearing ocean - wouldn’t end until after 1:00AM. The host did offer a different villa- it wouldn’t have made a difference. Had we have known about celebration- we would not have chosen to stay at this location. Other than that- everything else was great!

First stay in Isla Loved it!

We loved this property and the convenience of the location! Everything was clean and the people were so friendly. Walking distance to all of the main tourist attractions and minutes from Playa Norte and Centro. The staff were all so friendly and when we did have a problem (ac was having trouble bc it is so hot) they were quick to come to the room the help us get things in track! The pools were cool and it was so nice to have the towels so we didn’t have to bring our own. There is a grocery store literally right around the corner so if you want to cook you can. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the island.

5 day getaway

The pictures do not accurately depict the loveliness of this property. It is much more modern, spacious, and atheistically pleasing than we expected. Our short time in Isla was made all the more memorable having Tampico as our little home away from home. Conveniently located yet removed from the bustle of the main strips. The king sized bed was scrumptious. Everyone in our group gives Tampico a big thumbs up!

Excellent experience all around

Amazingly clean, view if the ocean and sound of the waves outside our veranda. Quiet safe location. Close to downtown area for dining out and shopping. Best vacation ever!

This is the place

Great location. Close to downtown but away from the crowds. Keith is a great manager and responds to all inquiries quickly. Well kept building and pools. Second time we have stayed here and will repeat many times over! Quiet and relaxing with unobstructed view of ocean. You are really right in the ocean. The surf was So loud we had to close the patio door at night to sleep

Love the Villas San Miguel

We have stayed at the Villas San Miguel twice now and we love it! It's central to everything, quiet, clean and comfortable. We love sitting on our balcony watching the waves or dipping into the pool. There's a great vibe and we will continue to come back and stay there when we visit Isla! Thanks Keith and team for another awesome stay.

Favorite place on earth.

I love this place. It's clean, quiet, the pools are wonderful. Everyone on sight is amazing. The location is perfect and there's a beautiful view. The host is amazing. For example, we unfortunately needed an urgent care the second night for an infected ear and when we couldn't find one, he had a doctor sent to our room. It was service above and beyond. We've stayed here probably 5-6 times and it is always perfect. I don't want to recommend it only because I want to selfishly make sure that I can always have it. lol. Enjoy!

Villa Tampico

Beautiful location and property. Great villa for my wife and I and our 2 daughters ages 21 and 18. View from the private balcony is incredible. Easy walk to the beach and all the great restaurants and shops in the town area. Concierge, Abdile (sp?), was very helpful with advice, arranging a golf cart and supplying everything we needed for a great trip. Would definitely stay here again.

Favorite Place on Earth

We have stayed at Villa San Miguel 5 times and never once had a bad experience. It's quiet and there are two pools so it feels like you are in your own little villa. The view is spectacular and the location is perfect--just steps away from the main strip and a short walk from Playa Norte. The seawall path is right off the property as well. You can't go wrong.
