Modern and comfortable house at walking distance of downtown going south and huge supermarket going north. The hosts were gracious and the house spacious. The quality of kitchen appliances and equipment was very high. The house was spotless and easy to maintain. We loved it.

Stunning Villa

The villa is amazing, 4 bedrooms all with en-suite, 3 looking out over the pool. The infinity pool is a perfect size with stunning views of the Dordogne countryside. The local village has loads of bars, restaurants and shops and the carrefour supermarket is 5 mins away. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning.

An absolutely beautiful property, wonderfully well appointed with everything we needed to hand. The hosts were rightfully proud of their property, they left us to our own devices but if we needed anything clarifying Jean-Marc was superb. We were lucky to have very hot weather so the pool and the air-conditioning were an absolute godsend. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone who wants a holiday in a property that makes you feel relaxed, at home and is a superb base to explore the beautiful area of the Dordogne.

Top villa in lovely French town

Week towards end of August was spent lazing by and in the pool or jacuzzi followed by BBQs in the evening. Rooms were perfect and all amenities close by. The only slight issue was the very steep drive from the entrance up to the villa but everything else was perfect.

We spent a week as a family of four at this property in July, and it was the perfect relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Jean Marc and Sandrine, were incredibly welcoming—greeting us warmly and offering great suggestions on things to do and places to visit during our stay.The property itself is exceptional. The beds were very comfortable, and the house had an abundance of space—ideal for our family of four (two adults and two teenage daughters). The kitchen was well equipped, the BBQ area was perfect, and the air conditioning in every room was a welcome touch during the summer heat. The pool was fabulous, and the views were simply stunning.It's also ideally located, just a 15–20 minute walk from Sarlat, one of the prettiest towns in the Dordogne. The region is truly one of the most beautiful in France, and staying at this property made our week there even more special.We’ll definitely be back as a family again!

Excellent!

Second time here and was not disappointed. Jean Marc and Sandrine are wonderful hosts. The house was still as perfect as a year ago and has all you need to enjoy your stay in the Dordogne. I doubt you’ll find a better place to stay locally. Don’t delay book it!

Luxury propert in a great location

We enjoyed staying in this luxurious property set on ahill with outstanding views over the valley. It was equipped with modern appliances, air conditioning and a heated swimming pool that was enjoyed by all. The owners were available if anything was needed and were very hospitable. We would recommend this propert for a relaxing holiday.

Great location well equipped high end villa

Our hosts were very helpful and responded very quickly to questions or problems. Good sized villa with lovely pool and jacuzzi outside deck with table chairs sun beds and parasol. Inside was high spec and roomy. Air conditioning was a major plus as it was very hot. One thing to mention for those who are very fair skinned. No sun protection creams to be worn in the pool or jacuzzi. We understand that it reacts with the chemicals but like us you may need to wear a T-shirt to swim to avoid burning or a hat to stop sunstroke.

Fabulous

Great property, great location and great hosts. It is a beautiful part of France. The town Is lovely with lots of lovely villages close by to visit. My boys canoed on the Dordogne and hired bicycles. Many an afternoon and early evening spent in the pool. The property offers everything you need. I have stayed here twice now and would return in a heartbeat.

Dont think twice book now!

This was our second visit to the property in Sarlat and it was just as good the second time as it was the first.The house is situated about 10 mins walk from Sarlat town centre and 2 mins from Carrefour so is perfectly situated for everything you can want.The house is fitted with top spec appliances. All bedrooms are en-suite and immaculate, equipped with air con and electric shutters - nothing has been overlooked.The pool and hot tub along with the decked area provide a great place to recoup after a day sightseeing and despite being close to amenities birdsong is prevalent.Jean-Marc and his wife are great hosts - available to answer anything you may need but not intrusive at all.We WILL be returning.

Perfect vacation property in a very nice town

Vacation home kept in excellent condition! Everything was exactly as stated and the property has a lot of luxury amenities which made our stay absolutely enjoyable and relaxing. The location of the house is perfect with both the beautiful and cozy town very close as well as very good shopping opportunities within a very short walking distance. We can only highly recommend both the house and the location for everybody interested in a relaxing holiday n beautiful France. This is definitely not our last visit to this house.

Superb villa

What a beautiful villa. Built around the pool and decking with enough space for 6 adults and a child to have their own space Sarlat is an easy 15 minute stroll away, with it's shops, restaurants and markets. Just be aware the driveway to the villa is very steep. We had a ball and would definitely return if we come back to the area . and shops. A large

Beautiful property with excellent hosts. Everything was provided that you could possibly want and all very high quality products throughoutNo British TV on any of the TV's though and couldn't mirror from our devices as TV is locked but we played cards and listened to music if we stayed in of an evening. Loved the Hot Tub sadly weather didn't allow us much Pool use. 15 minute walk in to Sarlat which was truly beautiful and loads of places to eat and drink.Carrefour is just 10 minutes walk away. Whole area is really worth visiting and we did lots of sight seeing. Only downside we have found was having to pay the deposit's as cash as required by the hosts in Euro's of 950 euro's and 100 euro's and we have lost a lot on the exchange rate when changing it back today. They did though leave us a bottle of Rosette wine as a welcome and we purchased 9 bottles from their shop to enjoy and bring home also as it a truly beautiful wine.Very highly recommend this property for a stay in the Dordogne just be aware of the deposits.

Lovely villa on the edge of Sarlat

Outstanding rental villa on the edge of Sarlat (5-10 minute walk to the town centre). House is spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard. Three double bedrooms and one twin, all good sizes with lots of storage and air-conditioned. Communal areas also airconditioned which is nice. Heated pool is beautiful with views over the valley and countryside. Very well equipped. Nice outdoor area for outside dining - gas fired BBQ also a bonus. The owners live nearby and are friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this villa.

wonderful in every way

The property is likely the best rental we've experienced and although its a steep climb up the driveway the views pf Sarlat and its sunset were spectacular. It was pretty extreme heat at the end of June and Jean Marc arrived with a parasol which added to the shade and helped protect our Irish skin particularly for our 6 month old Grandson Frankie. The care and attention to detail from both Sandrine and Jean Marc was really appreciated and we have already recommended the property to friends. Frank and Laraine

Wonderful Holiday!

Words can’t really sum up what a fantastic villa this is. Every last detail has been thought about, from the initial design around the pool down to the smallest thing you need on a holiday. The villa is built around the pool,with bedrooms on either side and the open plan kitchen/lounge at the end. All the appliances are very high end with lots of high tech controls. The villa overlooks the valley at the top of Sarlat and is an easy 12/15 min walk into town. Sarlat is a lovely small town, very medieval; with lots of shops. The region also has lots to do, most things less than a 20/30 min drive. We had a fantastic week here and if you book this place you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!!

Stunning property with an amazing view

Loved everything about this beautiful home! This was our first ever visit to France and what a way to stay. The home is outstanding and gorgeous with loads of space, everything is to a high standard, a bathroom with every bedroom, all items you need to cook is supplied in the kitchen, great BBQ, and our favourite parts were the infinity pool and jacuzzi where the view is perfect! Even in the evening we would sit with a glass of wine outside with the lights on looking at the views. The walk into the local town was very nice about 15min tops, the walk up to the property has a steep drive so that is something to bare in mind on the walk back, and we visited other places which were amazing and only 20mind drive. Jean-Marc and his wife were truly welcoming and the wine was lovely we went back to the shop a few times for a top up, there were st hand for any questions and recommendations so thank you both for making our first stay perfect! We loved every minute and look forward to returning in the future.

Our family of 5 (parents with 3 teenagers aged 19, 17 and 15) enjoyed a week at this wonderful property. It was close enough to Sarlat for us to walk in whenever we chose (be warned of the steep incline of the drive which would make this unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues) but also within easy driving distance of lots of beautiful attractions. The villa itself is immaculately maintained with everything you could need for a family holiday. Each teenager had their own double room and family sized bathroom. Kitchen was high-spec with separate laundry room and there was lots of indoor living space. There was air-con throughout with individual controls for each room. The pool, hot tub and terrace have lovely views of the countryside with plenty of opportunies for reading in the shade or catching the sun. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, greeting us on arrival to show us around the property. Sarlat itself is a vibrant medieval town with stunning architecture and a perfect blend of independent shops and restaurants to suit all ages.
