Denne plads er en friskmalet Unik 2-etagers lejlighed i NYC, 50 meter fra Central Park og kun få minutter til metroen. Dette hjem har 2 stuer (hvoraf den ene konverterer til et andet kingsize soveværelse.) Der er et andet rum væk fra den private have, der konverterer til endnu et mindre soveværelse. I alt kan du have 3 kingsize soveværelser og et fjerde mindre soveværelse med en dobbeltseng. Flatscreen tv på begge etager thru-out. Sonos, kabel-tv, Netflix, Hulu, vaskemaskine og tørretumbler, AC. Det har det hele. Privat udendørs have med en vand springvand, udendørs pejs, og en helt ny stor Rustfrit Bbq, tilføjer til din nydelse. This is a special place. Rare combination of beautiful and luxurious feel but also cozy and comfortable. We loved coming home to this place everyday. The outdoor space and being steps from the park was priceless. Lovely street, convenient to subway, lots of amenities, hosts who think of every detail. I could go on and on…

Excellent place to stay for a visit to NYC

This property is every bit as large and beautiful as the pictures. The location was fabulous, we walked to many places in the neighborhood, including a great entrance and area in Central Park. Uber/Lyft provided reliable transportation to sites further than a walk away. The hosts were very gracious in their amenities available to us. Overall, I would request this property again should I plan another trip to NYC.

Very spacious four room apartment. Clean and very comfortable. Well equipped, extremely comfortable. Fabulous hosts!! Location is also Incredible. Right off Central Park. Do yourself a favor and stay here! Wonderful experience. Ricky truly cares about your experience.

Our group of six felt so at home in this clean, spacious, well stocked and well decorated duplex. The host was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Location on the upper West Side allowed us to walk to several restauraunts, grocery stores art museums, and provided easy access to Taxi or subway. We traveled to Mid Town and to Southern Manhattan with ease, but also enjoyed our own neighborhood. We will return to this lovely spot again when we travel to NYC with our friends or family.

Perfect month in NYC

We just spent the month of May at this beautiful apartment, just as the photos show. It is clearly a 5-star property - beautiful decor with very interesting accent pieces as well as extremely functional and well-equipped. The large dining room table and tranquil outside garden were ideal for small family gatherings. The beds were extremely comfortable (mostly King), the SONOS sound system and multiple TVs were very useful, the kitchen was well-equipped and a nice size. The upstairs/downstairs split was fine, even for us older folks, with good hand rails on the stairs. The hosts, Ricky and Gretta, were very communicative, easy to work with and helpful with good area recommendations of restaurants, shops and shows. And Chris, the property manager, was also responsive and helpful with any questions/requests. We definitely recommend this property, right off Central Park, and would gladly stay again when visiting the Upper West. Side.

What’s not to love !!!

We do this quite often and I have to say that this one is at the top of the list. Fabulous location, quiet and private, charming neighborhood yet close to everything. Area has wonderful shops and restaurants within a short walk. Subway 2 blocks away. Met by host Ricky upon arrival who is very charismatic and made us feel at home in minutes. Plenty of fresh towels and linens, stocked gourmet kitchen, luxurious beds and pillows, very tasteful chic European decor. The home was my wife and kids ( 7,9,14 ) favorite part of the trip second to a broadway show !! Pictures don’t do this home justice, very roomy and cozy for the five of us or more. Each detail well appointed. Between Ricky and his assistant, it was like having our own personal concierge. Will definitely do again . Thank you Ricky and Greta for helping make our Thanksgiving trip unforgettable.

Comfortable and Spacious

Comfortable and spacious apartment in quiet neighborhood close enough to the hustle and bustle of the city. Great restaurants, grocery stores and subway within walking distance. Had everything we needed. Did not get to enjoy the great patio area due to weather unfortunately. Always enjoy NYC!

Great home with easy access to from the street. How was well appointed and info on house was easy to figure out. Great house if you plan on being all over Manhattan. Close to subway, a few small grocery stores and a 24 hour Duane Read. We had a wonderful stay:)

Spacious and quiet on the UWS

We loved the quiet and privacy and we were steps away from the park. The backyard area was a lovely shaded oasis at the end of the day. Many nice products in all of the bathrooms and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and was clean and well stocked with basics. We loved all of the restaurants nearby and would happily stay here again.

Perfect birthday weekend !

Ricky’s property was amazing! Located just steps from Central Park on the Upper West side. Tons of space 4 rooms and 3 full bathrooms. Absolutely gorgeous decor and all the comforts of home. The outside patio with fireplace and grill was a private paradise ! Me and my 2 childhood friends celebrated our birthday with our husbands there for a wonderful 3 night stay. The subway was conveniently located only 4 quick blocks away. Ricky was great at communicating with me. I would definitely stay there again. Janice, Suzanne, and Emily

Great place to stay near central park

We had a wonderful stay at this great apartment. We were a family of 6 visiting extended family in the upper west side. The apartment had everything you could want or need and is in a great location. Ricky was always extremely responsive to questions. Highly recommend.

Great family outing

The property is very conveniently located to Central Park, and fit our family of 5 perfectly. The outdoor patio was terrific for cocktail hour and the entire apartment sparkled.

So glad I chose this option for our family of 7 trip to New York

Accommodations as shown in VRBO Home decorated with a flair that makes you feel like you are in someone's home who really is from New York and not bare bones accommodations Ricky always responded to my text or e mails in a very prompt manner. He was a very gracious host. Very roomy- we had 7 people in our group and each could go off and not be bothered by others. Enjoyed the big table for all to come to when we fixed breakfast. Linens were very nice Outdoor area was awesome Wish we had had more time to really enjoy it We were only 1 1/2 blocks from subway House located in a great area. We felt totally safe at all times.

Amazing apartment in fantastic location

We’ve stayed in HomeAway apartments a few times now, and this was one of our favorites. First, communication was great. Ricky is very responsive, getting back to us quickly and answering all of our questions. He left us detailed instructions for everything in the place, including recommendations for local restaurants, which we took advantage of. (we had a dim sum dinner at Jing Fong on Amsterdam and 78th our first night). Everything in the kitchen was organized and labeled to make finding things easy. He even checked in via email to make sure we were in and settled. Second, the apartment is amazing! The interior decorations are magazine-spread quality and the 4 bedrooms gave us plenty of space to spread out after a day of walking all over the city. We were two adults and two children so we didn’t use the 4th bedroom on the lower level but the bedrooms on the upper level had huge, comfortable beds, the linens and pillows were high quality and there were extra towels and blankets in one of the closets if we needed them. It was obvious the owners put a lot of thought into making your stay there as comfortable as possible and we appreciated that. Both our teenager and eight-year old felt relaxed and at home. Third, the location can’t be beat. A half-black to Central Park. Minutes to walk to the American Museum of Natural History, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Guggenheim. Two subway lines close by. Within an hour of arriving, we walked to a coffee bar to unwind, got our passes the AMNH museum for the following day and loaded up on bagels and supplies at Zabars. There are restaurants and coffee bars all over the place. And a market and Trader Joe’s within walking distance. We were everywhere from the World Trade Center to Times Square to the East side. This apartment was a great place to start and end each day. Our only regret was that the weather was too cool to take advantage of the patio out back. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Ricky, for everything. We had a great trip to the city!

A jewel on the Upper West side

We have stayed at vacation rentals for many years, and Ricky's apartment is now on the top of our list as a place to return. Ricky's graciousness, coupled with the beauty, comfort, and exquisite attention to every detail, both practical and aesthetic, was a tremendous gift to our three-generation family during a holiday visit to New York. We would highly recommend Ricky's home as a home away from home for anyone visiting New York.
