The home was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, and I especially appreciated the separate workspace with a desk. The neighborhood was pleasant, with restaurants and subway access within easy walking distance. We also walked to Central Park, although the property was a little farther from the listing’s map than we expected. One thing future guests should know: the map location and address provided after booking were not accurate. We learned that the host provides the actual address three days before check-in, and VRBO did not have the correct address in its system. This initially concerned me, but VRBO connected me directly with the host. After a pleasant conversation, I felt comfortable proceeding with our stay.I would rent this property again despite the address issue, but I appreciated having it clarified before arrival, and wanted other guests to be aware. In reading other property reviews, this seems to be a hosting trend in NYC. The home had the amenities we needed, though you should plan to bring your own soap, shampoo, coffee, creamer, and other personal supplies. It was exceptionally quiet. We heard no street noise and were provided a comfortable place to relax after exploring the city.
