Perfect Costa Brava home!

Another perfect week in Cabo at a beautiful home in Costa Brava. We love this little enclave of villas - the location, safety, the quiet beach. Our hosts were wonderful from helping with taxis to coordinating our poolside massages.

Absolutely beautiful

We had a wonderful time here. Absolutely beautiful and quiet. Relaxing by the pool or swinging in the hammock, no matter what we done it was memorable! House keeping was wonderful.

Property was just as described

The property was amazing! The only downside is the construction next door on the hotel (but we were well aware, just a noisy project). The views of the ocean were spectacular and the ability to enjoy the pool, eat under the outdoor structure, and walk to ocean were amazing!

Sweet little house

The house was exactly as described. It was next to construction which was a bummer. But it did not ruin our stay or the beautiful blue ocean view. We all had a great time.

Amazing Home

We took a trip with our 10 year old daughter for 4 days. The property is lovely. We were greeted with chips and margaritas. The pool is fantastic and it’s just a short walk to the beach. There are many beautiful resorts nearby for fine dining. The house is in wonderful condition. Upon leaving, my husband left our passports at the home and we did not realize it until we arrived at the airport!!! They kindly put our belongings in a cab and we made our flight. I’d highly recommend this place. Amazing service!

Christmas in Cabo

The villa had all the comforts of our own home. Having the pool and hot tub just steps from the house and the short walk to the beautiful beach was ideal and provided us hours of entertainment. The view from the terrace, especially sunrise was something to capture in video. The construction next door was disclosed to us prior to booking. Although it was at times interesting to watch the work, the noise, dust and debris landing in the pool, in the terrace and furniture over several days became a nuisance. The quality of the kitchen appliances and indoor furnishings were of nice quality.

Nice House, Great Beach Access and Convenient Corridor Location

My wife and I rented this property for 8 days in November 2022. We rent houses in the Cabo area 2 to 3 times a year. This is a nice house and good location for access to the beach. If you have a car access to both San Jose and Cabo is easy. We had an enjoyable stay but didn't use the open spaces much as the beach was preferrable. There was significant construction going on on the adjacent property to the west which went on from 8 am to 6pm daily and it made the pool area less relaxing. It appears that the construction will continue for some time. I also was bothered by the checkin requirement to sign a form authorizing Cabo Villas to charge my credit card for the specified listed damages to the property (the list was blank). The Cabo Villas representative advised that he would fill in the list with anything he found at the end of our rental. On our departure day we waited until checkout time but no one showed to inspect so we left. We certainly caused no damages but there is still a hold on our credit card so we will see what happens. However being required to sign a blank authorization like that bothered me so much that I will avoid renting properties managed by Cabo Villas in the future. Otherwise as I said we enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and everything worked and the easy beach access (literally walk down a driveway past 4 houses) was the best feature in our opinion.

We're sorry to hear there was an error in the check-in documentation process with outdated guest registry forms. We have amended the error to avoid this with future reservations, as this is inconsistent with our values and business practices. Per the rental agreement, it is standard to hold the deposit for up to 7 days after departure, in the event of incidental charges. I hope this clarifies the situation and we apologize for the error. We hope to welcome them back to Cabo again in the future and earn their trust for future stays!

Property was great and staff was friendly.

The house was as promised and the pool and hot tub were awesome. The view of the ocean was spectacular with whale sightings from the comforts of home everyday we were there. Our Concierge Angel Campa was the best and handled all our excursions. Angel went above and beyond for us all. The only low mark in my rating was for the property manager who we never had contact with. We will for sure return to this property when we comeback to Cabo.

Clean, good location, and private

Stayed with 5 others for a girls trip. From the moment we got off the plane, the transfer was waiting for us and Giovanni was already making margaritas and guacamole at the villa, so we felt very welcomed immediately. There is a lot of construction around the complex, new hotels going up, you can hear the noise during the day, but once we started our own music it drowns it out. Everything was very clean inside the villa, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything we needed. The majority of the time we spent at the pool and outside. The view is stunning, unobstructed view of the sea of Cortez, and only a couple minutes from the beach. Walking down at the beach we we're lucky enough to see manta Ray's jumping out of the water, and tiny sea turtles rushing to the ocean. There are plenty of towels and linen for everyone and we never ran out of anything. The air conditioning worked very well and kept the villa cool. Small things that could be improved is having 6 chaise chairs for us all to lay out, and if there would be anyway to have the pool slightly cooler, as it was very warm. But those small things did not interfere with the amazing time we had. It was a wonderful place to stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

Perfect!

The house was simply perfect for our family of 6 (4 kids under 8). The private pool meant we did not bother anyone with our noise level or splashing cannonballs. The outdoor space was just priceless. We used the grill, and ate a lot of meals at the huge outdoor table. Plenty of sunny space, but shade as well for those who want it. Inside was even nicer than described, spacious rooms, easy laundry, any/all supplies you could need! Rodolfo was incredibly responsive and helpful, especially when our 2 year old changed the code to the safe and our wallets and passports were on the other side! Goyita was so sweet, excellent English, and kept us tidy all week. We spent time in San Jose and Cabo San Lucas - about an equal drive to both. Can't say enough great things about our stay.

Nice Stay at a Beautiful Villa along the Corridor

My mother, husband and I enjoyed a week at this beautiful home. The house is older, but has been updated beautifully. We enjoy cooking meals, and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable - with the two bedrooms having beautiful ocean views overlooking the pool. The house has been very well cared for - with landscaping and is very clean. The hot tub took a little figuring out - we thought it might just be a small extension of the pool - however, it just needed some time to heat up and we really enjoyed it! It is a beautiful pool and deck area - we lounged reading by the pool between dips. The house is in a very small community, and the beach is just a short walk down a cobblestone drive. You can walk for miles in either direction. We asked about swimming in the ocean and were told as long as the ocean was calm it was safe. The house is a short drive to a beautiful bay for snorkelling and swimming. We were looking for a place that was quiet and relaxing ... and this house fit the bill perfectly. It is about halfway between Cabo and San Jose del Cabo which was nice. I am chemical sensitive - so finding a Villa is often challenging. This villa does use fabric softener sheets - but the Kirkland brand which is non-perfumed and uses no air fresheners.

Perfect family vacation!

We spent a week at this beautiful home with our two sons, their wives and one grandson. The house was perfect. The bedrooms worked out great; large ocean view master, 2nd ocean view bedroom with queen, and third bedroom with double and twin which was great for our grandson and his parents. The house is beautifully updated and quite modern. It is not particularly large, but was plenty for the seven of us. It is meticulously clean inside and out. The pictures of the pool area are accurate. You can swim in the pool all day with a full view of the ocean. We even saw a whale one day. The couple small issues we had were addressed immediately by local support. The house is about 100 yards from the beach, which is nice and deserted. You can not swim there because of the riptide. But there is a really nice public beach with good parking and nice bathrooms about a mile away. The swimming and snorkeling is excellent, even for small children. We rented a car, which is needed since this house is along the “corridor” and is about ten miles from Cabo. The owner helped us arrange for a chef, which we used for breakfast and dinner. Everyone really enjoyed this. The development is about 12 houses and is gated at the road and the beach. There is also a caretaker at the entrance. It seemed very safe. There is some construction at a nearby resort but it did not bother us. This is a wonderful property for anyone who wants to stay away from the crowds in Cabo.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home, great view, great location for us and a wonderful pool in the back that's private. We would definitely stay here again. The whole experience from start to finish was easy and smooth. Maybe one of the greatest things about this house was the house cleaner Goyita. Her English is good. She cleans well and her cooking is great.

BEST VACATION EVER TO CABO

We travel to Los Cabos about 3-4 times a year but we stay at resorts. This time I rented a house because we needed a nice quiet vacation. I did not want to leave after a week. I wanted to stay. We got just what we wanted. When we arrived Rodolfo was there to greet us with margaritas and chips and salsa. He left us his phone number to call him if we needed anything. The house is well maintained and very secure. It is in the perfect location between Los Cabos and San Jose. The house had everything from games, dvds to books. The kitchen was fully loaded. We ate breakfast outside so we could see the whales passing thru. The housekeeper was AMAZING. Goyita kept the house so clean. She came 3 times during the week. She even cooked for us and her food is DELICIOUS. We only left the house 3 times. The pool was just the right size for us. A very short walk to the beach. Thanks to CaboVillas for arranging this trip for us. We will rent this house again!!

To my surprise the place was clean, well maintained, secure. Excellent place to stay, learn the bus route or rent a car otherwise you will pay to much for cabs since it's about 10 miles to san lucas.

Costa Brava Villa is a must!!!!

We were 4 adults seeking a quiet, relaxing beach vacation and we got just that! We chose Costa Brava for the location and the views. We spent 9 days at this beautiful home and absolutely loved it! The home is very clean, very well equipped and the view is spectacular!! Loved breakfasts on the patio and night swims under the stars. Location is perfect! It is right in the middle on the corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo. About 15 minutess in either direction. Any groceries you need can easily be picked up at the Mega in San Jose or the Walmart in Cabo. A rental car is a must and driving around the area and both towns is a breeze. Day or night. The beach is a quick walk and is gorgeous!!! Keep in mind that this is not a swimmable beach all year long. It was not safe in August but this made absolutely no difference to us at all and went down several times to soak up the beauty! There are two beautiful swim safe beaches 5 mins away (Chileno and Maria). We just can't say enough about this home! WE LOVE IT and cannot wait to get back! The staff was exceptional from start to finish! Amber at CaboVillas did an amazing job of organizing our trip. She took care of the reservation, the arrival, the rental car, answering all our questions, making recommendations etc. She did it all and was very friendly. Shuttle driver from airport was great. Arrived at the villa to find our rental car waiting in the driveway. The door swings open and Manager, Rodolfo, greets us with a warm welcome! He gave us the tour and was on his way. We had absolutely no issues but called him with a couple questions and he was always immediately available. Very friendly! He will help set up fun things to do too! The rental car rep finished up our rental right on site and was wonderful. We drove ourselves to the airport and returned it with ease on our day of departure. Zumiko comes in three times during the week to change linens and clean if needed. She was so very sweet! Thank you one and all! To sum it up, Costa Brava is a must visit! Much thanks to the owners for sharing your beautiful home! :)

Wonderful location, very well- equipped villa

We spent two wonderful weeks at the Villa Costa Brava. The property is exquisite and very well maintained. House looked after by Zumiko - pool and garden by attentive and very pleasant fellows. We had several meals at restaurants which were excellent and the location was good for either San Jose del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas. Rodolfo, the Manager was quick to respond to any request. The noise from the construction site opposite the house was a bit much, but, apart from that everything was perfect.

Beautiful Villa + Isolated Beach = Relaxing Vacation

Watch for whales and rays pool side while sipping a margarita. Relaxing! Road noise is not a big deal. The booking process with Nik was great, at first. Then there were several mix ups (the invoices they send with payment conf. are rather confusing). TransCabo picks you up at the airport (but charges $30 to stop on the way to the villa for 30 minutes at the Mega store, this should be free for as much as the villa costs) Air conditioning units in every room are nice Abundance of books & games for your use Local and US phone calls are free Proximity to the beach is a plus & the beach has very few/no people at any given time, it's virtually YOUR beach. Take your flip-flops. The granite is sharp while exploring the tide pool nooks and crannies. The sunrises are heavenly and not to miss Open floor plan makes for cooking and dining while visiting a pleasure, but the advertised 3000 sq ft must include exterior areas, b/c it isn't 3000 living space Speakers are great to hook up to an iPod in the villa. It would be much more convenient, however, to have outdoor speakers and an iPod dock. Inexpensive to do and would be a HUGE plus! Pool MAKES the vacation, but the "heated" Jacuzzi isn't exactly warm enough to enjoy in the evening. In-villa chefs are amazing- A MUST DO! We had the Surf & Turf dinner and had them do the Drop Off service, which includes them still preparing everything, they just don't stay through the meal. It is OUT OF THIS WORLD! The 'Welcome' margaritas and chips/guac/pico were AMAZING! Having a propane grill to BBQ is handy. We had plenty of propane to cook, just make sure you burn the ants off the grill first, they're pretty quick to jump on the leftovers (as they would be anywhere). Ants aren't excessive, by any means. We had enough 5 gallon water jugs for our stay, which was nice. Made our own ice cubes using that water because the cubes from the fridge smelled funny. Had maintenance issues upon checking out, which were ignored by Rodolfo and never addressed (toilet in master "runs" & the safe in guest room beeps & was locked) No another options for dining nearby as Marbella, next door, is closed. This also means there is no sundries shop next door and you must cross the highway to get any sort of BASIC amenities at the Super Mercado. The walk to the beach is steep. The maid service is excessive, for sure. They don't really do much but stand around texting while waiting for bed sheets to wash and dry. It should be optional.

Very Happy

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at Costa Brava. It was exactly what I had pictured in my minds eye. The representative who assisted us through out our stay was prompt , thorough and very friendly. I like the location being approx. 1/2 on the corridor. Everything was clean, maid service and pool service was great. The beach is lovely to walk on. The hotel next door, Marbella Suites is a fantastic Mexican run, intimate hotel with great food and WONDERFUL service if you do not feel like cooking.I felt Costa Brava was very decent value and would stay again !

Amazing Villa

The house was beautiful and we had everything we needed. We loved how we werent too far from town and had beach access. Everything was wonderful we couldnt of asked for a better place to stay.

Amazing Stay in Cabo

What an amazing week we just spent in Cabo! Villa Costa Brava exceeded all of our expectations and we couldn't have had a better week. The villa is located between San Jose and San Lucas and we really enjoyed not being around the hustle and bustle of San Lucas. We did rent a car for the week and it really made the trip for us. We were able to come and go as we please and do many different things on our own time. Back to the house, extremely clean and no issues with any pests or bugs of any kind. Very modern and updated inside, the best part was the king bed in the master suite, in fact my wife wants to buy the same bed when we get home! Pool and beach are both incredible, finally able to swim in the ocean the last day of our stay, was a little rough prior to that. I saw many complaints about the walk to the beach, but it is nothing to worry about, great cardio! If you want to swim in the ocean Chileno Bay is very close by and we swam and snorkeled twice during our stay. The grill is a very nice option for cooking as well, we did dinner at the house 4 nights and it allowed us to make hamburgers and chicken which is a nice change when you are tired of eating chips and salsa! I could go on and on, but if you are looking for a great stay, this is def the place for you!

This is a great review of a truly amazing villa! With amazing ocean views and a beautifully decorated interior, Villa Costa Brava is a great pick for a Cabo vacation.

Wonderful!

Great privacy! Wonderful staff! This place had it all! We even had a US land line that costs us nothing to call home! Everything was at our fingertips! We will for sure be recommending this to our friends and family!
