Expensive VRBO over the 4th was hard to swallow!
Overall, not the stay we had hoped for. Issues include:- Water Pressure (had to send someone to correct it on day 3 of the stay) but got better.- Seemed more like someone's home with "Owner's closet" signs all over the house, (Handwritten post it notes) this included in most of the bedroom closets and the entire basement.- All bedrooms, seats, and couches were covered in cat hair that didn't wash out. - 2 w/ rooms rock hard beds, yard not maintained, and non-working fixtures - The limited A/C units left the house very hot, understanding this is Maine, but was not even turned on the first day on the top floor.- Home was very lacking in paper products, paper towels, 1-ply toilet paper and had to get the owners rep to provide trash bags as they were in an "Owner's closet" - Was very odd that there were 3-4 cars in the driveway and 18 yr old, young people staying above the garage attached to the house. There were entrances into the home from this area.- Majority of the house had no curtains, some had a sheer curtain that you could see through, including the restrooms. This home has surrounding neighbors and we needed to cover them to feel comfortable. This really did not help when the sun came up bright prior to 5 am and they had a sky light over the top floor bedroom.- 2 of the bedrooms had unfinished plywood floors and they put rugs in to cover some of the space.- Was told the house instructions were in the Welcome guide, however it was no where to be found.
