Slice of Paradise!

We loved our time at this location, it was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and whale watching from the Lanai. Would definitely book here again.

Amazing place with amazing views

We were overwhelmed with the location and the unit that we had rented. It was everything we wanted in our experience on the island. We could not have asked for a better stay on the island. Highly recommended… Highly pleased… Will be back again.

Wonderful location

We rented from Oct 1 to Oct 12 !! We were very pleased with condo everything we needed was supplied !! The view from the Lanai is amazing and spent every night watching the sunset !! Would definitely recommend to others and will definitely return in the future!!

Really Impressed!

This was a 5 star property! The unit looks exactly as it was advertised in the pictures and lives up to the reviews! The condo was spotless upon arrival, was stocked with essentials (including spices, cook ware, linens) and was n the perfect location! I have zero complaints and would absolutely stay here again!

Just amazing

We were welcomed via text before we arrived and then in person once we got to the property. Easiest check-in ever and very nice place to stay. Great view and all the basic essentials. We were able to relax and just enjoy ourselves. This place is close to everything. Nice central island location and peaceful--listening to the waves is magical.

Beautiful view and sound of ocean waves

Enjoyed every minute. Fully stocked kitchen. Great location for access to Hana Lahaina and south of makena. And all the beaches. Can walk beach for miles right out the door. Occupants and staff very friendly and helpful. Convenient, assigned parking space.

Beautiful place with a beautiful view

Nice condo with an amazing view. From the Lanai I was able to spot whales and turtles. Beach just in front of the condo is beautiful and one can make long walks. Great place to get easy around the island, close to a lot of places. If you like to paddle, there is a club just next to the condo and you can learn to paddle an OC6, or go for a full moon paddle! Just one little thing, would be nice to have a king size bed, there is enough space in the bedroom! Would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family!

From here you have access to the turtle swimming beaches of Wailea and the west to the beach town of Lahaina. In addition, the very beach this condo is located, sugar beach, is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. My wife and I loved our trip to this island paradise.

Property as shown Great Views.. neighbors a bit territorial they weren’t the warmest bunch Not nasty tho! Apt came w nice toiletries although we brought our own.. Ulanis has great shaved ice it’s walkable if your up to it! Washer and dryer are great when you swim everyday! I’d book again tomorrow if I could

Great location.

Overall it was a good little condo. I would make a few suggestions: Many places in Maui don’t have room for a king be, this condo does. May as well have a bigger bed. No streaming on the tv. A smart tv is cheap, I would recommend a new tv on the family room and one in te bedroom. Nice little condo tho. Jason.

The condo itself was very nice and very comfortable. It had everything we needed, except a cutting board.There were lots of small flying weird bugs, annoying. And I’m certain we had termites. No problem at all for us, but you’ll need to check them out. We will be coming back for sure so I hope the spot doesn’t get TOO popular! Thanks!

3 wonderful weeks on Maui!

Sherry in the office was great at helping us with our booking and put us into unit #205 which was perfect for us as it was on the north corner of the building which is right off the beach but not over the pool and gives you some shade on the patio and its very quiet and relaxing.Sherry's directions from the airport were spot on even in the dark!Norma Jean the manager keeps the place looking lovely!The beach is wonderful and very long and never crowded! We loved the Kealia because it wasn't like some of the other monstrous properties-smaller and quiet.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a quiet location on a busy street. The view of the ocean is exactly as shown but we still could see the sunset! Room includes an easy access parking space and Lihue is perfectly situated between the north and south of Maui as well as the airport. If you are looking to travel around Maui it's hard to find a better spot. Everything in the room was clean and easy to use. One demerit I have to mention is the AC unit was located behind the tv in the living room, which provided no relief for the bedroom on hot nights. Otherwise, this is a commendable stay!

Waves crashing 24/7, seconds away from the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed here for four nights with my husband and 2-year-old daughter, and while there were some difficulties, overall this was a pleasant experience. PROS: -Literally seconds from the beach, so you could go walk on the beach/frolic in the waves whenever the whim hits -Full kitchen, stocked with plenty of dishes and cutlery to make pretty much anything -Ceiling fans in both rooms, AC in living area CONS: -Literally seconds from the beach; if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs else the ocean will keep you up all night -It was clean enough, less a few issues (the shower seems to be cleaned infrequently as there was a clump of someone else's hair in the drain when we first arrived; almost all of the towels smelled a bit mildewy) -Aside from a small strip with a sandwich shop and souvenir store, you need to trek a bit to get to any restaurants/shops

Beach front, quiet, and beautiful

This condo was one highlight in our trip. It was so nice to sit out on the lanai, see the ocean, and watch beautiful sunsets. Road noise was very minimal, especially over sound of waves (normally didn't notice traffic unless it was a particularly loud vehicle going by). Being north facing and a slightly cooler time of year we didn't need to turn the AC on at all (just use the fans provided). Condo was also vary clean and provided all the items necessary for a comfortable stay. There was also TP, paper towel, some spices and plastic wrap, cooking oil, coffee filters, and hotel toiletries provided which was very helpful (only need to buy if used up). some items however may be left over from previous people's stay, such as coffee filters and spices so may not be part of the standard starter items (you would need to inquire with management if curious). There was also a great view of the pool from the entry way. The pool was in a nice setting, but pretty chilly. The beach in front was very quiet and water good for swimming. There are no buildings to the north of this condo complex. Lawn and lounge chairs provided as well for condo/guest use. For taking to beaches this unit provided 2 lawn chairs, a good cooler, boogie board, umbrella, and snorkels. Overall highly recommend, zero complaints!

Not so Happy this time

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at Kealia Resort several times. However this time, there was cockroaches in our unit, flying beetle like bugs at the pool everyday, and they were so agressive and kept flying into our hair. Also, 5 of the 7 days we were there- there was annoying construction going on. We were not notified this necessary construction would be going on, nor did we receive a discount for out stay. BUT, another couple I met at the pool stated that they got a discount. I saved for a year for this trip- so, I was very disappointed. Also, when we checked in, there was nobody available. I had to call several times to determine where I was supposed to park after we had been there for 4 hours. When we had to check out "by 10:00am" there was also not any management to be seen.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We LOVED our stay at Kealia Resort 205! This condo was perfect for our week on Maui! The pictures do the rooms justice - what you see is exactly what you get. If there weren't so many other things to do on Maui, we could have spent the whole week walking the beach and relaxing on the lanai - the sunsets are amazing! This resort is literally the last building heading north out of Kihei, so there is nothing to obscure your view of the ocean (just palm trees). Since it's so far from the center of town, it's very quiet and laid back, but that also means you have to drive to where the restaurants are. I emailed Sherry with specific questions before our trip, and although her reply was prompt, it was rather vague. Also, since the VRBO overview lacks details, here are a few things we found that may be helpful to others: The bed is very firm (we liked it, you may not). Linens are average but very adequate. You can hear the waves even with the windows shut. We LOVED that and found it soothing, but if you're a light sleeper you may need ear plugs. There is a small washer/dryer in unit. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes, pans, and utensils you could need. It also has a microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. There is a pretty looking pool available for swimming, but we didn't use it. Why swim in a pool when you can swim in the ocean?!! There is a small pair of binoculars available so you can whale watch from the lanai. There are 2 boogie boards and 4 beach towels for your beach adventures. There is a small thermal cooler and a large ice pack (in the freezer) for use in packing a lunch/snacks. There is a DVD player but no DVDs. The beach is AWESOME! The sand is soft on your bare feet, and you can literally walk for miles right from the back door. There are lounge chairs for use by the pool and on the grass, but not on the beach. There are ceiling fans in the living room/bedroom and a window

I had a short but peaceful stay here. The cover shot for the condo was taken with a wide-angle lens, so the ocean appears further away from the balcony railing than it really is. It's close! If you love sleeping to a roaring surf, this is the condo for you. I did not hear any noise from the neighbors during my stay. Also, this condo building is the last one before the open space leading up to the nature reserve. It feels a bit more removed from the hustle and bustle of town. When you walk north on the beach, you will see the locals enjoying this less touristy, unmanicured long stretch of narrow beach. The green lawn you see in the cover photo is frequented by chatty roosters that start up at sunrise, so bring a white noise machine if you want to sleep in. In Feburuary you can spot humpback whale spouts from the balcony. The condo is stocked with everything you will need - but do bring your own beach towels. Great communication with the manager. I would definitely stay here again.
