Family trip to the Big Island!

This place is great! The kitchen is fully equipped. Everything is very clean and beds are comfortable. Washer and dryer in unit and has beach supply’s for the whole family and cooler! Lanai is beautiful and the pool is steps away! Love it here! Will keep this place in mind for the next visit here! Aloha

5 night condo stay

Plenty of room and the outdoor patio was a plus. The shower head in master could use an upgrade. Pool was nearby but we did not use. Loved the area— lots of shopping, market and restaurants close by.

Perfect spot

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was a really nice layout for our family. Had sand toys and chairs. The pool was so close, which we spent alot of time at. One thing to note, the rental company did not seem very familiar with what was in the house. I reached out to see if there was a pack and play and they said no. After lugging a pack and play we discovered one the in the closet. Hopefully if someone else needs it,they read this review.All and all would love to stay again!

Big Island getaway

Very good location and great layout of the condo . Kitchen well stocked, could use bigger wine glasses. On the negative, beds not very comfortable and need improvement. The noise from the young family above us was constant and at times very loud .

Great place in excellent location

This space and the entire complex is updated and very well maintained. The patio is wonderful and the pool area was great. The location is just a few minutes from beaches, stores/shopping and 20 minutes from the airport. If we return, we'd definitely stay here again!

Amazing location and property

We loved sitting on the lanai watching the birds by the lagoon. It was relaxing and a very well kept property. The concierge was very helpful and welcoming. We would absolutely book here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Well appointed condo

This condo was equipped with everything needed for my husband and myself. We mostly ate out, but e joyed morning coffee on the lanai that was peaceful overlooking ponds and the pool. We also liked there was a gym available. Close proximity to stores and shops.

Paradise

Beautifully landscape, spacious, quiet. Lovely pool, waterfront 5 minute walk. Beautiful white sand beaches less than 15 minutes north. Shopping, restaurants 5 minute walk. Airport only 15 minute away.

Condo was very clean and well stocked. We’ve stayed at other condos in Waikoloa and this one had the best floor plan for separating adults and kids. Was actually bigger than expected. Only complaint (and I don’t know if this is the building itself or the neighbors), is that I’m convinced that the Hawaii Alpine Ski team was upstairs breaking in their new ski boots. Either that, or someone was upstairs playing fetch with a baby elephant. Every morning at 4:30 we heard loud steps going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth…… across the condo upstairs. This actually caused the bedroom door to rattle with each lap. Could be old joists, or could be inconsiderate people… didn’t ruin my trip in any way.

Wonderful Getaway

The condo was clean and great for a family with little kids. Lots of beach toys, a couple beach chairs/umbrellas, and a few snorkels with fins. The pool was fantastic and easy to access. No issues and lots of communication from the rental company made the stay easy!

Awesome condo!

This was a very nice, upgraded condo. The condo was very spacious, and it was decorated so nicely that it gave me some inspiration for a few upgrades that I want to do to my house. The location was very peaceful and it was convenient to lava lava, a bay, and other beaches nearby. We also checked out the Kings and Queens shops close by, which have a few really good dining options. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. The property management was very professional, and they even called me to let us know we could check in early if we wanted. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Beautiful property in ideal location

We've stayed in this area twice and love it. This property is spacious, has all amenities, and is well maintained. We loved the ground floor access to the back yard overlooking the pool. Just steps from the pool, hot tub, gym, and grilling area. Easy 20 min walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We'd absolutely stay here again. One tip for the manager would be to consider blinds in the bathrooms. You can see into the full shower/bathroom from 2nd floor walkway. Plenty of beach accessories, chairs, boogie boards, etc. Love this property!

Mixed Feelings

Location is ideal as both Kings and Queens mall are super close with supermarkets, stores and restaurants. The pool is really nice and the outdoor space is a great area to hangout with the nice weather. The pictures for the place are a bit dated as the furniture is a bit older than pictured. The place was clean when we arrived but we did see a couple cockroaches around the apartment unfortunately. By far our biggest complaint is the lack of insulation between units, we had a constant thumping from our upstairs neighbors with kids running around from 7am until late every night, you can literally hear and feel every footstep.

Perfect location

We enjoyed our stay at The Shores. It was convenient to stores and restaurants. The unit was comfortable and well equiped. We especially enjoyed the pond off the lanai where we could watch the birds, the koi swimming and it all felt very relaxing. A good location to head north, south or visit Volcano Nat'l Park.

The Shores complex is very well kept, quiet and relaxing.

The unit we rented was spacious and well equipped. It could use some updating and a good deep cleaning. The pool is a heated salt water pool which was very enjoyable. The Wiakaloa beach area is a beautiful location. I recommend the area and The Shores. Just be selective about the unit you choose.
