Paradise

We had an absolutely amazing stay at our Vrbo in Costa Rica! The location right on the beach was stunning, and having a pool to enjoy made it even more perfect. The housekeeping, Conceirge, pool staff was incredibly attentive and kept everything spotless throughout our stay. And the chef—unbelievable! Every meal was delicious and beautifully prepared. This experience truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed the house and its proximity to the beach. You are on a great section on the beach and within walking distance to shops and dining.

Fantastic home!

My family absolutely loved our stay and hope to return! The house has everything you need, and the pool was perfect. There is no shortage of pool or bath towels, which are replenished daily, and was very much appreciated:) The location is wonderful at the south end of town. You can walk to everything - on the street or on the beach. We loved embracing the Pura Vida lifestyle, learning more about Tamarindo from the locals, and supporting the local businesses in the area.

Fabulous location!

Casa Woodbine is a well maintained beach house in a fabulous location in Playa Langosta. The management company provides excellent concierge support and the maintenance and cleaning staff are outstanding.

Great once again

We stayed in this home several years ago, pre renovations. The updates are great. Staff made check in very easy and helped with every step of our trip. We will be back.

Perfect house for our three couples. Each with their own master bedroom, and master bath. Great access to a sand bottom beach and the town of Tamarindo

Really cool place

The house is very well situated with plenty of room for a family or group of friends. The location is unbelievable, steps to the beach and a 5 minute walk to town. The manager and staff are attentive, informative, accommodating and pleasant. Looking forward to coming back soon Thanks

Incredible house and location!

This is the perfect location and a beautiful house just steps from the beach, literally on the sand. We loved every minute of our stay. Jerry was so attentive and helpful. Do not hesitate to book this house, you will not be disappointed!

Excellent care and wonderful property

The home couldn't be more perfectly located on the beach. The host was responsive and the local staff was outstanding. Elmer, the property caretaker was a gem! And our place was cleaned each day by a great staff. So pleased.

Great House and Location

This is our 2nd stay at this house. We love the fact that you can just walk out the back door onto the beach. The first time was before the renovation. It was unanimous decision the 2nd time. The rain got in the way a bit but those that surf thought the waves were better then. It would have been nicer to have a few more days of sunshine. We love the house and the renovations.

Family vacation

House was perfect for our needs with a great location to beach as well as having a pool! Big bedrooms with king beds for 6 adults! Our excursions were arranged by property and were great!!! We celebrated our daughter’s 39th birthday with cake and flowers that they also arranged for us!! Chef was fabulous for all our meals of breakfast and dinner!!! Would definitely go back!!!

Paradise

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The location is ideal. It’s a short walk to town and restaurants in both directions. Right across the street is restaurant with excellent breakfast and coffee. It was amazing to walk out the back door and directly onto the beach that was perfect for surfing. The house provided chairs, a beach umbrella and cooler. The house also has a grounds keeper, who keeps the yard clean and pool lovely, and a house keeper who cleans the main living area each day. We were able to use the concierge service to set up a personal chef to make our dinners, surf lessons, massages at the house, and airport transfers. All the service providers were top notch! I didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay and I look forward to booking the house again in the future!

OMG! Just do it!

Very comfortable house. As previous review says it is better than the pictures. Perfect spot on the beach, no rocks, all sand. Close to everything. Could not have better beach access. Learn to surf right in front of the house.

A week of paradise

We’ve stayed in many VRBOs and this is the best so far! Amazing location - ON the beach and walking distance to grocery stores, shops and tons of great restaurants. We stayed for a week (no car) - Did a full day of excursions in Buena Vista (highly recommend), sunset Catamara (amazing), rode horses on the beach and up into the jungle (wow!). The town is very safe. People are so kind, food is fresh and delicious. The house was spotless and we had daily housekeeping and pool cleaning. Recommend you bring lots of cash though as some excursions, transportation and vendors don’t take credit cards. We already planning our next trip!

Great beach location

We loved the house and the easy access to the beach. Our kids loved the pool and surfing with Carlos. The caretakers were great and helpful with making dinner reservations and recommendations. My only drawback was that there were always people right behind the house (like a park having picnics). Two women set up massage tables daily and it felt a little awkward when they were giving massages while our kids were in the pool, but we didn’t seem to bother them, so we acclimated. Overall, great location for easy access to beach and restaurants and the house has concrete walls so very quiet inside (my husband loved that).

Spectacular

The location was really perfect! directly on the sandy beach, minutes from restaurants and bars, both by beach and the roads. Grocery and conveninet stores nearby. The concierge was so wonderful, she coordinated anything we needed from reservations to excursions. The daily maid service was fabulous and the daily pool cleaning person was so diligent. We had a wonderful time!! House is beautiful! All the amenities you need, 4 bed rooms with full baths plus a bathroom and shower outside by the pool. Beach towels included and washed every day. We will be back!

Disappointing that full disclosure of property not made. Pool filled with leaves every day, poor filtration, over heated Property adjacent to public access, noted accessed daily by dozens of people, dogs, horses, motorbikes. Front of property facing beach eroded with fallen trees, surf school allowed to specifically use all of property on beach front, no space for renters available One bed so hard it was not usable. Would not recommend this property for anyone at any price.

Casa Woodbine is everything you’re looking for for your stay in Tamarindo

Look no further. Casa Woodbine is the perfect place to stay in Tamarindo. It’s right on the beach on the south end of bay, out of the hustle bustle of town, but just a short 10 minute walk away on the beach, or the road. The house is well appointed and equipped, with very comfortable beds and 3 en-suite bathrooms. We spent hours on the patio and in the pool, and playing in the ocean just steps from there. There was a friendly and reliable housekeeper and exterior caretaker that made their daily rounds. Also, Donna, the Property Manager greeted us, and was available for any questions or concerns during our stay. We enjoyed the entertaining visits from the Howler Monkeys, iguanas, and squirrels in the trees. Pura Vida!
