This house was perfection! Exceeded every expectation for our stay. The space was perfect for my husband, myself and our 6 adult kids. The screened-in porch was an every morning gathering place for coffee. The living rooms were perfect for our game nights and the pool was our post-beach treat. The best part was our two pups joined us for the vacation and loved being with all their favorite people in one place. We will definitely be back!!!

Lovely home. Perfect for multigenerational family.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the pool. Extra fridge, wine cooler and beverage fridge were great for a large family. Very nice home with great furniture. Only negative was the MOSQUITOES! That may be a HHI problem. We fogged the yard ourselves.

Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the home, especially the pool, the extra refrigerator, the wine and beverage refrigerators, and the furnishings. We're sorry to hear the mosquitoes were a nuisance during your stay. Hilton Head's warm, coastal climate can make mosquitoes more active, particularly during the summer months and after periods of rain. To help minimize this, the home receives professional quarterly mosquito treatments as part of our preventative maintenance program. For your next visit, we'd be happy to schedule an additional mosquito treatment just prior to your arrival to help make your stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back to 8 Whistling Swan again soon!

Family and Friends

We had a great week. The location is perfect with an easy walk to the beach, the hot tub and pool heat worked really well and most importantly the kitchen was well appointed with any type of cooking or food prep stuff you might need and plenty of utensils. We’ve stayed at this location before and obviously liked it enough to come back and would love to do it again.

The house was so clean and kitchen very well. equipped. We had 3 generations (and our dog) in the house and we had no reason to leave the house and if we did it was to the pickleball courts or nearby restaurants. Aalways impressed with an organized garage in a beach house - that's rare. We have rented many beach houses in the area over the years and this was our favorite. Rental agency was VERY responsive and helpful.

Wonderful Family Reunion at Hilton Head

Our large family of 16, with mostly adults ranging from 24 to 73 & 2 kids age 2 & 14 - enjoyed the Whistling Swan beach house tremendously! The house is even larger & more beautiful in real life & has plenty of rooms for all of us to spread out! The layout of the house is very well-designed! We enjoyed the sun room with the ceiling fan, the pool & hot tub & the large grill deck! Best of all is the large bunk room on the 2nd room - very roomy for 5 young adults in late 20’s! Thank you for hosting us and we definitely recommend this house in the Sea Pines Plantation - 5 mins walk to beach!

Perfect Vacation Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2023 was our second year renting 8 Whistling Swan. It is perfect for a large family gathering. The house has absolutely everything you will need. The location is very convenient to the Beach Club and to shopping outside of Sea Pines. The management company is excellent and readily available for requests. We loved the proximity to the beach, and the pool and screened porch were used every day. Another plus was the fenced backyard making it easy to bring our small dog. We would not hesitate to rent the property again.

8 Whistling Swan

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, it was a great experience. The house was very spacious. The pool was very nice as well as the hot tub. I would give this a five star rating; however, there are a couple things that I think a five star rating for a house of this magnitude and price should provide. It may be picky, but the toilet paper was pathetic. It was something you would expect to find at a hole in the wall gas station that you would stop at. The grill was very large; however, was in need of some significant maintenance. Unfortunately, we didn’t use it until our last night and found that the disrepair was very hazardous. I’m surprised that somebody had not reported this before. The instructions for the hot tub didn’t seem to be consistent with how the hot tub actually operated. We were able to get the heat going; however, it didn’t seem to be consistent on how that function was accomplished. Again, we had a great time with just a couple of hicups that are correctable.

We really appreciate this review & are happy to hear you had a great experience overall! Based on your feedback, we have replaced the gas grill entirely. A brand new gas grill was delivered on Saturday as well as propane tanks. We apologize this wasn't done prior to your arrival, but do appreciate your feedback. We hope to see you again for your next HHI beach vacation!

The property was clean and had plenty of room. A few things that were just a little irritating were no drain for the sink, not enough silverware, forks and spoons, mosquitoes that did not allow sitting outside. We have been coming to Hilton Head for years and did enjoy this property.
