En af vores foretrukne enheder og absolut en Akumal klassiker, Penthouse at Reef er et meget specielt to soveværelse, to bad ejerlejlighed, der besætter hele tredje sal af The Reef. Denne enhed har specielle og unikke funktioner, der har gjort det til en favorit blandt mange af Akumals lange besøgende.



Reef har en fantastisk central beliggenhed på Half Moon Bay. Gå til La Buena Vida restaurant eller grill tilbage på lejligheden. Snorkling er fantastisk lige ud foran bygningen ..



Et af Penthouse mest fremragende egenskaber er de meget store og meget private terrasser, der spænder over både havets og junglesiden af enheden. Morgenmad på terrassen med udsigt over Caribien, margaritas, mens du ser solen gå ned over den tropiske jungle. Den store havsiden gårdhave er tilgængelig fra begge soveværelser og stue og spisestue. Siddende og spisestue er orienteret mod havet, så det er nemt at nyde udsigten fra alle punkter. Opholdsstue og spisestue i Penthouse ligger i centrum af enheden, med soveværelser i begge ender giver mere privatliv for gæster.



Hvert soveværelse har en fantastisk udsigt over Half Moon Bay og Caribien ud over, et andet unikt træk ved Penthouse ved Reef. Høje lofter og loft fans giver friske havbrise at holde dig kølig og behagelig.

Half Moon Bay condo

This was a wonderfully spacious beachfront condo for our group of 8. Although difficult to get through the rocks just offshore, once through we snorkeled and saw a great variety of tropical fish. The unit is walking distance to.a small convenience store, a lovely Mexican handicrafts shop and three great restaurants. Nearby Yal-Ku offered great snorkeling, and don't miss the cavern tour at Aktun-Chen. Overall a great stay in a lovely, quiet spot.

Great penthouse with incredible views

Wonderful & comfortable property to spend bdays with friends & family. Listing is accurate, bedrooms/bathrooms were wonderful as was the ac in the bedrooms...which was needed. Kitchen well stocked & maid service every other day was really nice. Thank you so much for the memories

Remember your in Mexico

We enjoyed our experience in Mexico. We experienced no hot water, blackout, early morning construction noise, and of course, no Air Conditioning due to the outage for 24hrs. Remember, this location is in a residential area. This means you are exposed to the mentioned elements of a residential stay and not like hotel accommodations. The Penthouse was a perfect location for the price, and we made the most out of our holiday and vacation. Being flexible is the best advice because you never know what environmental elements you will succumb to.

Everything from the layout/flow and comfort of the complex worked for us. The balconies and views were exceptional. The daily maid service kept everything clean and tidy-the maid was great as was the condo management team who made themselves available on a timely basis when we needed assistance. WE did not need a car because of the great location and did rent a golf cart to access some areas within Akumal Bay. Our overall experience rates a +5 and we are so grateful that we were able to spend time at this condo in Akumal.

Great condo on Half Moon Bay

The Penthouse condo has a wonderful view of the bay, and the location is great. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants (La Buena Vida, Jungle Cafe, and La Lunita), plus there is a small grocery store very close by. We rented a golf cart for the week which we took to town, the Lagoon and Monkey Sanctuary. The bedrooms all were very nice and the kitchen had most anything needed. We prepared breakfasts at home each day. And we greatly appreciated the housekeeping services. The concierge arranged Chef Daveed Services to prepare dinner in our Penthouse one night which was a highlight. Definitely recommend doing this. The concierge also arranged our airport transportation which was very helpful. One note is that there is no elevator and while our family had no issue carrying our baggage and doing the stairs to the 3rd floor every day, some may not like this. The surf was a bit rough on the days we were there so the snorkeling from the beach was not that great but we did see some fish and had nice walks on the beach. Going to the Yal Ku Lagoon which is very close was fantastic. We initially had an issue with the hot tub but the property manager quickly helped us correct the issue. Overall we greatly enjoyed the property, felt comfortable, safe and had all the support and services to ensure a pleasant stay.

NO AC!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very disappointed to find out that we had no AC and to top it off it rained the whole time so it made it difficult to keep the windows open!!! we had booked another room in the building that had AC and thought when reading the information on the website that they all did. I would note on your descrips in large caps that the penthouse does not have AC. We would not have stayed there had we clearly seen that. Other than that it was a nice place. Won't stay there again though, Mexico is too hot to not have AC.

We stayed mostly in, walked to the Lunita restaurant down for drinks and snorkeled all day. My brother even got married on the beach, and they allowed it because it was a very small private wedding. It was one of our best vacations ever, and that says a lot considering it’s Covid season and we’ve been everywhere. We’ll be back for sure!

Plenty of space for our family members, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, very quiet and peaceful, with extremely easy access to the beach. The views were wonderful--sunrise was a favorite time. It was extremely pleasant to just sit out on the balcony and read in the afternoon if we didn't feel like going to the beach. And the enormous hot tub was a big hit. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful. We especially loved the cenote tour they recommended.

Beautiful condo. Snorkel right from the beach!

This part of Akumal is a sleepy strip of small condos along the waterfront. Every day we walked up the beach to a small restaurant with ridiculously fresh fish. We snorkeled right from the beach (I almost ran into two large stingrays!). The vibe is super relaxed and friendly. The condo itself is spacious and well-appointed. You can hear the waves as you fall asleep. We had maid service every day, and the place was spotless. We sent laundry out and it was back by 10am. We loved our stay here!

Friends on vacation, same time, every year

Wonderful clean condo.Friendly staff. Have stayed in Akuhmal many times and this was the best of them all. New Hot tub on the deck was a great surprise

Everything and then some

The place was more than what was described. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. The only negative for this trip was the sea grass. But that was our fault for not researching into it more. Even with that the place made up for it. Very well stocked kitchen. Do yourself a favor if you stay here. Have them set up Marcelino to come cook for you. It was fabulous and from that visit we set up with his son a private swim with the turtles tour. Such a great vacation

Horrible Beach

We stayed in the penthouse and the penthouse itself was just as described and what you see on pictures, beautiful. The only thing they need to fix is the front door, too hard to close and lock. The beach was awful, smelled really bad due seaweed, weren’t able to swim or enjoy the beach at all. We stayed 3 nights and it smelled horrible those 3 days, specially in the evenings. The renter said we have some seaweed but it didn’t say it was mountains of seaweed and that the smell was unbearable even inside the penthouse . It literally made us sick to the stomach.
