I’d like to clarify a few points: the listing clearly identifies the property as a duplex with an upstairs unit and shared backyard. My presence on-site was also understood, as prior to your arrival, you had requested my assistance receiving a FedEx delivery during your stay. While the fireplace is visible in photos, it is not listed as an available amenity, which I also clarified in our text on the morning of check-in. During that same exchange, I offered to bring the beach chairs downstairs whenever you wished to use them. I keep certain bulky items in storage to avoid cluttering the unit’s closets and make them available upon request. With rain during much of your stay, I didn’t receive a follow-up request for the chairs. I apologize that my car was still in the driveway upon your arrival. This was an oversight, and I moved it immediately. Regarding the maintenance and cleanliness concerns, the sink handle is a known maintenance item for which I’m working on a repair. The shower curtain stain had not previously been reported by you, any prior guests, or my cleaning team. I appreciate it being brought to my attention and will address it immediately. I acknowledge the backyard should have been checked and cleaned immediately following the rainy weather. I wish these concerns had been raised during your stay, as I would have been happy to address them promptly.
