The condo was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the A/C, ice maker, pool and back porch. We also enjoyed walking to the grocery store and restaurants just up the hill.

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at this location!! The condo was so spacious, clean and welcoming, within a beautiful location with a perfect pool area! The grounds were awesome, oceanside with a rocky view of magnificence!!! Loved having 3 beds, 2 bathrooms with their own showers! The full kitchen and laundry were amazing!! We came home with clean laundry!! Everything was excellent!!! Thank you so much, we highly recommend staying here!!

Great condo and perfect location

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay on the Big Island and in this condo. The location was perfect and close to shops, restaurants, walking distance to a great snorkeling spot!! They had everything we needed and plenty of extras, boogie boards and cooler came in handy for us. Will stay here again on our next visit to this island.

Beautiful

Resort was perfect, beautiful condo we got to meet the owners, very nice people. Love the amenities which included beach items such as chairs and coolers.Staff was friendly and helpful accommodating from the beginning.Mahalo for making our family vacation a beautiful memory.

Excellent!

We were a group of 19 that stayed in 4 condos in the KKSRC. This condo was by far one of the favorites. Clean and cozy you can tell the owners put thought and care into their place. Comfortable Lanai with amazing garden views. Very well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a great stay. Location is very central. Close to amazing snorkel beaches, shopping, and beautiful white sand beaches. Incredible! We will definitely be back.

Luxury garden retreat

A comfortable stay and the kids enjoyed pool

Overall a nice stay. The place was clean. However if you want AC you have to let them know and pay ahead of time. I paid ahead but it turns out I didn’t need AC because the weather was so comfortable in October. Wish I had the option to decide when I got there instead.

"Honu Hale" Condo

Soothing Hawaiian music welcomed us and the ceiling fans had cooled the inside. The condo was perfect. It had everything we needed plus a little more. We really enjoyed the floor to ceiling sliding doors, lani, and designated parking. The furniture and fixtures were very nice and comfortable. The view from the lani was beautiful as we relaxed in the patio furniture in the evenings. The kitchen was well equipped and had updated appliances. The resort was very nice, beautifully landscaped, heated pool, and barbecues. We would not hesitate to stay here again and really enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a family of four with two adult kids that stayed in the suite for 9 nights. The place suited our needs perfectly. Here are a few of our favourite things about the suite.-lots of seating to hangout at night-two bathrooms-watching the sunset from the beach at the complex-used the barbecues almost every night-location is awesome to snorkel, surf, and swim.-the suite has beautiful art throughout-having beach stuff to use was awesome (chairs, boogie boards etc)-loved drinking coffee in the morning on the lanai.

Sweet Ending

Nice place to finish our vacation for our last 3 days. The condo fit our family of 4 fit great. There was enough separation from the kids bedroom and the place was clean upon arrival. Good location between downtown Kona and Captain Cooks. The pool was nice to finish in with the kids. Great sunsets off the beachside of the property. They provided lots of gear for the beach except the snorkel mask were broken and leaky. That’s been my experience at most places we have stayed on the Islands. Longs sells them for $30. We had a pleasant stay and would rent here again.

Nice place

The property was clean with beautiful grounds. It is very close to the water (although you can’t access the ocean from there). The pool was nice and perfect temperature. The condo was spacious and comfortable for a family of 5 with 3 beds and a sofa bed. There were lots of fans but it was very hot in the condo the entire week we were there. Next time I would just pay the extra fee for AC to be turned on. The management was available when I had questions and when the fans stopped working they promptly replaced them. Overall, great stay.

A little piece of heaven

The condo was amazing nicely decorated. The place had everything we could want but a can opener. The only thing that was confusing was the air conditioner they do charge by day and i assumed it was paid when I paid my rental but it was not and after arrival they took that from my bank account which was my spending money. Read the contract I very well could have been mistaken.

Great trip to kona

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this ground floor, spacious rental was great place to stay! The unit was clean and had all the necessities. Location is great, we stayed in November and didn’t find we needed the A/C. We used the supplied fans and that was all we needed. The green space off the back deck was really nice. The rental came with a pack of 2 dishwasher pods, a small amount of laundry detergent and no extra garbage bags so keep this in mind if you are stopping to get groceries/supplies on the way and don’t want to spend your trip running back and forth to the store. It would be a huge improvement if a few spare garbage bags were supplied as these are necessities I have always had supplied with other rentals and wouldn’t have thought to grab at the store. The fun closest was a great help, but bring a collapsible cooler bag if you have limited space in your car. The supplied beach chairs could use some updating. Thank you so much for a comfortable, reasonable stay in Kona!

Ideal family unit w/ AC option

Wonderful property and condominium. We would stay here again if we came back to Kona. Some of the highlights I’ll list. The King size master bedroom bed was superb. Very comfortable. We nitpick mattresses whenever we stay at places. The second bedroom with a twin and a full size bed was great for kids or other. The patio is very pleasant but the biggest thing here is the privacy. Reason is if you walk along the oceanside pathway of the property you will see other condo units that have great views of the ocean but lack that privacy aspect so there’s pros and cons to everything. We also enjoyed the patio closet with random beach need items. We used the water shoes, beach chairs, coolers, etc. Keep one of these coolers in your car when you go to the grocery store to put things in. One last thing is a tip. The pool is wonderful on the property w/ clean restrooms and a outdoor shower to utilize but maybe on our 9th day of our 13 day trip we figured out the property has its own beach access so go north of the pool area past 3 or 4 condo units, follow a sidewalk around a corner and you’ll discover the beach access. It was quite private but don’t put your hand down on a sea urchin like I did:)

Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was a nice space and location for my family of five and fit our needs well. It was a short walk Kahalu'u Beach Park and an easy drive to a number of attractions and historic sites. We liked the racquet club and its facilities. Nice sunset views were just steps away. The condo itself was nice, the items in the outside closet were very useful, and being on the ground floor made access easy. The downside of the ground floor was keeping the doors and windows locked when not present and when asleep. Between this and the discouragement of using the air conditioning, the place had a musty smell initially. We did fine at night with the windows closed (for safety) and without A/C, but the condo felt stuffy come morning. That was just a minor item. As someone who strives to leave a place better than I found it, I did not appreciate the forced damage waiver fee. On the positive side, the washing machine and dryer were great to have. The owners left helpful instructions that made it easy to navigate our way around the condo.

However the property management co does not have all their ducks in a row. When booking we had to contact them several times regarding a contract issue regarding the a/c. Mahalo for your review! We're so glad you enjoyed the condo, found it clean and comfortable, and that you'd stay with us again. We do want to clarify the communication issues you mentioned. Prior to your stay, we made the decision to waive the air conditioning charges for your reservation as a courtesy. Unfortunately, one section of our standard rental agreement still referenced the original A/C terms, which was an oversight on our part. We apologize for that confusion. Additionally, some of the difficulty locating your reservation stemmed from the fact that your emails were sent under a different name than the reservation was booked under, which made it more challenging to immediately match your correspondence to the correct booking. Once we identified the reservation, we were able to get everything sorted out. We appreciate your patience and your feedback, as it helps us continue improving our communication processes. We're delighted that the condo itself provided a wonderful stay, and we hope to welcome you back to Hawaii again soon!
