Dette hus er for nylig blevet fuldstændig renoveret med nyt gulv, alle nye luksuriøse badeværelser og et nyt nyt køkken. Soveværelserne har alle luksus sengetøj med helt nye high end madrasser. Perfekt til to familier med både og ovenpå og nedenunder mestere med konge senge og et køje rum med to tvillinger over to dronninger, en walk in closet og opbevaring kommode. Opvarmede gulve i master bad ovenpå og dobbelt forfængelighed i begge fulde bade.

Køkkenet har alle nye skabe, granit bordplader og alle rustfrit stål apparater, herunder to opvaskemaskiner.

The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. Porches are great with amazing views. Updated bathrooms and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed a fun and memorable girls weekend!

Beautiful house and view

Really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for two couples with children. Wonderful views and a great location to go visit Highlands and do some hiking. Kitchen well stocked with all necessary equipment. Seems like it was recently renovated as it had a very fresh and clean feel. Thanks!

Fantastic Stay!

We loved everything about this property! The decor is comfy and tasteful, the view is incredible, and the location is great. It was very quiet and the bed was amazing. We hiked the Scaly Mtn via Osage Overlook trail - very cool with lots of different things to see along the way. We cooked at the cabin but we were also close enough to pick up food from town. Everything was easy and restful - we only stayed 3 days but it felt like a week! :) Highly recommend!

Fantastic weekend

Stayed here with my husband and son for the weekend. We had such an amazing time. The house was beautiful with such an amazing view. Check in and out was easy. The house was clean and the kitchen was equipped with more than we expected. 10 minutes or less to highlands! Would definitely rent again.

Lovely NYE stay

The house is just as advertised. Clean and cleanly decorated. Updated. Really well stocked kitchen with two dishwashers which is a huge plus. The owners were very accommodating. A quick and easy drive to Highlands. Loved it!

Beautiful view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house itself looks as it has been recently updated and the kitchen was well stocked. The view from the back deck was gorgeous. A great place to end the day. Some of us had a hard time finding the property. And the gravel driveway was steep and a little tricky. I definitely recommend 4 wheel drive.

It was hard to find and no cell service. My daughter came up alone and ended up on the street behind the property. There is a very steep driveway shared by another house. We were only aloud 2 bags of trash and we had 8 people for 5 days over a holiday, so the local trash dump wasn’t open so we were charged extra. I misread the pet policy and brought both of our mature labs for which we were also charged extra. Be aware there is a ring doorbell camera and the host will watch your every move. Beautiful sunsets from the back porch.

Our property description clearly states we have the fastest internet service available with Starlink, but it can be spotty as it is everywhere in the NC mountains. We also recommend downloading the directions before you leave home in the pre check in and check in instructions. We do have a ring doorbell and when guests attempt to sneak two large dogs into our home without disclosing it (only one dog is allowed with a pet fee) we will act accordingly. The cleaning crew spent extra hours cleaning up after your group which required several trips to the dump to dispose of your waste, which you could have taken with you. There also were several days that the dump was open while you stayed. That is also clearly disclosed in the check in instructions. We very much want guests to enjoy our home but it is frustrating to have a group break our rules and then complain when they are caught after we accommodated them rather than requiring they vacate the property. I would not rent to this group again.

Great experience

A great property with lots of room. Everything fit our needs for this vacation. Close to town, great living room upstairs for reading by the fireplace during the day. Cozy living room downstairs for relaxing in the evenings. Contrary to other reviews, we had zero problems with texting through iMessage and web browsing. Satellite tv and apps worked very well for us also. The kitchen was perfect. Huge sink, plenty of cook wear and the double dishwashers were a nice touch for group dining. Beautiful view off of the back deck. Very nice firepit area. Beds were comfortable. Showers had enough hot water for four people to get ready back to back. You can't expect much more. Great spot.

Trying something new, first trip to Highlands.

The house was lovely. Beautifully updated and decorated. The kitchen was nicely equipped, we had what we needed to cook our planned meals. The beds were very comfortable. Linens and towels were all soft and inviting. Everyone was pleased. We spent time by the fire pit and on both decks, it was all quite relaxing. That being said the driveway was anything but…but we all managed. We went to Dry Creek Falls (beautiful) and downtown for lunch and shopping. Look forward to visiting again with a bit more time to look around. There are a two things that I feel need mentioning that did not affect my review. We were a mixed age group from 25 to 80 and there is no handrail leading to the lower level. We ended up not using what looked like a lovely seating area as the outdoor furniture was not uncovered and the deck had not been cleared. We did use the outdoor table. We know it would have been our responsibility to cover it every night but we felt it would have been more welcoming had it been uncovered when we got there.

Karen I am glad you enjoyed our home. We keep the furnituee covered because our beautiful area is literally a rain forest and no one wants soggy cushions for their welcome. It would also be harder to find the covers if we put them away. Our clesning crew blows off the deck but during fall thr leaves come down fast amd furious within hours.

Beautiful property

I have been to Highlands twice in the last two years. This property is one of the cleanest, nicest rentals I have ever had. It looks like it has just been renovated. Everything you need is right there. The owner evens supplies certain condiments such as as spices, soy sauce, coffee, filters, etc.. There is a pretty view from the second floor balcony. The furniture is very comfortable. The bathrooms are spotless. So the house is super. I seem to recall however that the listing mentioned wood burning fire places. They are gas however, but nonetheless, remote controlled and beautiful to look at. The only issues with this property are those that have been mentioned in previous reviews. As you leave Highlands and are about a mile out of town heading toward the house, there is NO internet. Your phone cannot make a call and you cannot access the web. This is not the fault of the owner, its just the facts. When you arrive at the property there is Dish, and you can log onto their internet through that medium but it is still slow to no. We could not make any calls from the property although the owner has a landline for use if necessary. However, even with the log in none of us could use our IPhones for surfing the web. I hate that that is even a concern in these days and times but this is the world in which we live. Also, the firepit could be greatly improved if the owner would install a handrail to access it. Lastly, the driveway is not for the faint of heart but you will get used to it soon enough. All in all, this is a very nice place and we had a wonderful time!

Terrific house

House is tucked away and is pretty secluded which we thought was great. There are two other homes nearby but enjoyed the fact it was a bit more isolated. Owners have done a terrific job updating the house and it was very neat, clean and warm. We were lucky and had terrific weather so it was terrific to spend the day on hikes and coming back to a well appointed kitchen, make dinner and relaxing on the deck with beautiful views. We have rented a myriad of homes for short weekend getaways and this is one of our favorite houses we have stayed, would wholeheartedly recommend it. Plenty of space for larger groups (was just my wife and I for the weekend), one of the bedrooms has a bunk bed for little ones. Short 20 minute drive to Cashiers and just a few minutes to Highlands. Carolyn, I am sorry you had some difficulty locating our driveway off of Hwy. 28/Walhalla rd. In two years of having guests we have never had anyone have such a hard time. I was glad I could talk you through it! I understand you don't get your email on your phone so you didnt have the full instructions that were sent that morming. I will put an additional note for guests to download their directions in case they lose cell service for google maps. Come back any time!

Mountain View delight

My husband and I travelled to Highlands, NC in search of a potential second home. This was the perfect place to have as “base camp” - near enough to all amenities yet far enough for peace and solitude. It was the perfect place to rest and relax (as much as you wanted). What a special place! The home is immaculately maintained with views as breathtaking as they appear in the pictures. My only suggestion is to show up the first time in daylight hours as the driveway is a bit tricky. ;-).

Great home, driveway is steep and somewhat hard to find. GPS is inaccurate. Downstairs AC needed to be set below the 72 degree suggestion, but worked prefect on 69. Also, only 2 bags of trash is a little tough with a 10 person home.

Our teenagers keep us busy and we cannot enjoy the mountains as much as we would like, but our loss is your gain!

We have the unique combination of a gorgeous, quiet mountain view while still being less than 4 miles or a 10 minute drive to town! We used our designer background to truly provide a luxury property that is beautifully put together with every kitchen gadget you could possibly need and two living areas to spread out with the kids in one and adults in the other! We have thought of every comfort from a heated master bath floor, to dishes for 16, two dishwashers and every kitchen tool you can imagine to a fully furnished deck with sofas, chairs and dining table to enjoy the stunning views with friends and family. Every bed has wonderful linens and extremely comfortable mattresses. It is the perfect set up for two families or extended families to enjoy. Read our reviews!
