We were in Virginia Beach with our grandkids and the house was perfect to us. The first floor living/dining room was more spacious than it looked in the pictures. The best part was the location. Just a few blocks from the boardwalk and the house was on a quieter street. It was an easy walk even for our toddler. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay

Spacious, clean, and in the perfect location. Walking distance to the grocery store, to the beach, and other stores on the main road. Plenty of room for 6 adults.

The house and setup was very nice. Extremely close to the beach loved the location. We were leery about audio / video surveillance on the door. We presumed it didn’t infringe upon our privacy.Assigned from that the best location we’ve stayed in 5 yrs.

Great location, but some areas need improvementThe biggest advantage of this property is the excellent central location. It’s just one block from the beach and boardwalk attractions, on a quiet dead-end street, and only about a half-block from a grocery store. Being able to walk to almost everything was very convenient. There were, however, several drawbacks. Parking is very tight—there is barely enough room for two cars, and no off-street parking permits were provided. We also were not permitted to park at the house before check-in and were asked to move our car before the cleaning of the unit could be completed, which was inconvenient. The house itself is very basic in terms of furnishings, particularly the mattresses, which could use an upgrade. The property would also benefit from a more thorough deep cleaning, especially in the high-traffic areas.Overall, the location is hard to beat, but the property could be improved with better furnishings, more attention to cleanliness, and a more accommodating parking/check-in process.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the excellent location and convenience of being so close to the beach, boardwalk, and grocery store. Regarding the parking and check-in process, we do ask guests in our pre-check-in messages not to park at the property before check-in so our team has full property access to prepare the home for guests arrival. We appreciate your feedback regarding the other items. We’ll share these concerns with our team as we continually work to improve the guest experience.

Beach stay

The house was great. It’s in the perfect location. Was like brand new. Everything you could want. The owners were also great. We wanted to move our trip back a few days and they helped us out with no problem. Will definately be coming back and staying with them again.

Accurate Advertising

Everything advertised about this property is very accurate and I would rent it again. It is immaculately clean and well kept. This house is better than the 5-star hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. It’s clean, walking distance to the beach/boardwalk, convenient, and everything in the house works. I’m glad we booked it. No regrets.

Great, clean house. Safe area

Beautiful newer home in a safe area. Less than 5 min walk to the beach/boardwalk. Close to restaurants, coffee, etc. You do have to cross a couple of streets, but that seems to be the norm in VB for houses. We didn't see any actually on the beach but for multilevel hotels, condos, etc.

Lovely but bumpy start

The property was very clean, quiet, and the perfect size for our family. However, we did not realize we would have to cross two four-lave roads to get to the beach. With a 3-year old we were concerned but managed fine. The start of my stay (grandfather arrived fay early) was a bit difficult. The door code had not been changed but fortunately was left unlocked because i could not reach the property manager (Frank)until the next morning, despite multiple attempts through VRBO. I instruction "manual" was a few words on a framed piece of paper. When Frank was finally reached, he was very helpful setting up the WiFi and TV - nether of which worked according to the "manual." Fortunately, everything was operating well by the time the rest of the family showed up, and we had a great time!

Gorgeous home, close to beach

Everything was as listed. Very convenient to the beach, restaurants, stores. The home decor was fantastic. Clean and easy to be there. A few beach chairs in garage. Board games in closet. They thought of everything. My only request is a couple more spare rolls of TP.

Perfect Vacation

This house was very close to the beach and has a ton of amenities for a family. It is very clean and tastefully decorated with a coastal theme. Everything that we needed for cooking was provided and there are even games and puzzles for rainy days. We had the perfect stay despite some rainy weather. It was great to have a few beach chairs, a beach umbrella, some sand toys and boogie boards to enjoy on the beach.

Virginia Beach

This house was exactly like the pictures. It was the perfect size for my family. Very close to the beach, stores and restaurants. Driveway was a bit small because we had two trucks neither fit in the garage. They had beach chairs, beach umbrella and some boogie boards in the garage.

Doesnt get better than this!

Exceptionally clean, everything you would want (look in the pantry for beach chairs, surf boards etc.!) Minutes walk to the boardwalk, kitchen fully stocked with all appliances. Outside shower was a huge plus too. Definitely rebooking for next time :) Owner was amazing, returned our deposit in record time.

Amazing and Convenient Home

My sister and I wanted to getaway and relax. This property was exactly what we needed. It is truly an amazing home! The pictures are exactly what you see when you arrive. It’s beautifully decorated and cozy. Also, it’s walking distance to the beach, as well as minutes away from various restaurants and activities. The only suggestion is to have a TV in more than one bedroom for other guests to enjoy when winding down for the evening. We definitely recommend this home. Thank you, Frank!! We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back!
