Sol Studio Suite - Your Private Oasis with a Pool View:
Indulge in a romantic retreat within this spacious second-floor studio suite. Awaken to the captivating sight of our lush ground pool from the large balcony. The suite, featuring a king-sized bed and a convertible sofa, comfortably accommodates up to 2 guests. Additional guests are welcome for a nominal fee of $35.

Pamper yourself in the expansive bathroom with a walk-in shower and double sinks. The kitchenette, smart TV, and WiFi ensure a seamless stay. For an extra layer of security, a large safe is provided.

Jardin Suite - Handicapped Accessible Luxury by the Lower Pool:

The second-floor bedroom with a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom opens to a third-floor living room with a balcony overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The living space is equipped with a kitchenette, a sofa converting to twin mattresses, and a half bathroom.

Great 50th Bday Celebration!

A group of ten of us stayed at Casa De Jardin for my wife's 50th Bday. Great rooms, comfortable beds, and awesome food. Shelley and Naddine did everything possible to ensure a good time!

The property owners not only have great communication leading up to your stay but they are such accommodating hosts with you are there as well. They take care of the property and have great amenities. Best part is THEY COOK! And the food is amazing! Breakfast daily and extra meals available at request. Definitely recommend!

We came to Isla Mujeres like most people looking for and expecting a relaxing vacation. We indeed found that, and we also found it hard to leave. We searched for property for a couple years and there was not much available. However, we found two lots that the locals called “The Jungle lots” it took a while to see the vision. Some of our friends who have property on the island said that this would be a great place for us to put down roots on this tropical paradise, so we decided to go for it. We made the right choice!

Susan is from New Jersey and graduated from UCONN and had worked for several years in the bar& restaurant industry and then pursued pharmaceuticals after college. She has been working in the restaurant industry for the past 4 years as Managing Partner/Owner of Farm to Fork in Leander TX. Sue has traveled the world and been many places and understands both sides of vacation travel experiences, and the service industry. Which is a great combination of expertise to ensure the experience we want to offer at Casa de Jardin.

Shelley is from Texas and is a US Army Veteran served in Germany for 2 years. Shelley graduated Le Cordon Bleu back in 2006. Shelley worked for VSM Brands as a corporate research and development chef of recipes that are used for large retail warehouse stores, she then became a successful chef/restaurant owner of a little place called Farm to Fork in Leander, Texas (North of Austin). She is wanting to create and offer a more personalized service in a more relaxed atmosphere to create the perfect StayCation Foodie Vacation Experience.

We searched for property for a couple of years and we eventually found two lots that the locals called “The Jungle lots” it took a while to see the vision. We started the project in 2019 and then moved here in November 2019 fulltime waiting for the completion of the build and then covid hit. We were able to stay in the sol suite for almost 7 months while waiting on business to open back up to complete the process. It took a little longer than expected and we love the way it turned out. It was built to share and we hope that our place makes you feel at home while on your StayCation.

We actually used graph paper to design La Casa de Jardin much to the surprise of friends and guests . Many have made many comments that we have thought of everything, which is what we were wanting to accomplish. We wanted to build a place that we would vacation at and added the accommodations we expect when traveling.

We have 3 pools on the property. The ground floor pool is heated and the other two have views of the Caribbean Sea and Cancun Bay from our top palapa. The rooms are very large and spacious. We could have added extra rooms to increase the number of rooms for rent, but wanted a more intimate setting that was more comfortable for our guests.

We are a Bed & Breakfast with a Le Cordon Bleu Chef. Shelley Pogue attended The Texas Culinary Academy in Austin TX a Le Cordon Bleu affiliate in 2005. Shelley and Susan owned Farm to Fork, a farm to table restaurant located in Leander Texas. They sold Farm to Fork in 2019 to move to Isla Mujeres Mexico and oversee the build of La Casa de Jardin.

We are located on the Punta Sur end of Isla Mujeres which is quiet, and peaceful for the perfect relaxing staycation. We offer concierge services to have your room stocked with pantry items, beverages, chilled champagne, wine or charcuterie boards upon arrival. Private chef lunch or dinner options available during your stay, breakfast is included, excursions, golf carts and dinner reservations can be made for you upon request.

There are 2 large wall murals painted by local artist and art up the stairwells. Many items used at Casa Jardin are repurposed and re-used. There isn't recycling on Isla yet so milk or soda bottles are turned into planters. There is a garden area on the 3rd floor that is being used to grow cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberries and other items that will be used on the menu at La Casa de Jardin. Shelley is a gardener at heart as well as a LCB chef that is trying to have a farm to table B&B in Mexico. There is also vertical growing and hydroponics
