We loved this property. It is absolutely gorgeous inside with 4 huge bedrooms, lots of very high ceilings, a comfortable light flooded living room and kitchen easily big enough for 8 to eat in - it more than met our needs. Outside does not disappoint- it has a lovely eating and relaxation area, a small peaceful shaded terrace, a roof top solarium for apéritif’s and of course the pool and sun beds. Perfect all round- no issues with parking either- book- you won’t be disappointed

Great stay!

Lovely and well appointed villa with rustic outdoors and pool. It had everything we required for a comfortable stay for 3 girlfriends travelling south Puglia. As other reviews have noted, the town is very sleepy but adds to the overall charm and forces downtime.

Lovely, airy house with fab private garden

We had the most relaxing holiday ever! A few more local restaurants would have been nice but the village was very quiet and non-touristy. Would definitely go back 🙂

Everything perfect

Well places to visit both Ionian and Adriatic Salento side. Guest very friendly and help full. Thanks for everything. Very recommanded.

Stay in Lucugnano

We stayed in Lucugnano with 2 families. The house is beautiful, designed with great taste and a place to feel home from the first moment you enter. We enjoyed the shady courtyard and pool during a hot July week. The host provided us with a very nice contact for cooking classes, that we had one night at the house. There are several beaches 15/20 minutes from the house and it's a great location to visit different places in the south of Puglia. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely holiday. Tricase and Lucugnano felt off the beaten track with less tourists than in other parts of Puglia. The house is beautiful with lots of space, and everything we needed in the kitchen. We would have enjoyed the pool too if the weather had been better! Two bakeries and butcher on the doorstep and the local restaurant was great too. Good location for exploring the coast - lovely natural swimming pools at Marina Serra only 10 mins away and the beautiful white sandy beaches along from Leuca.

Wonderful, beautiful home!

Absolutely wonderful house! Beautifully decorated, so comfortable and charming. Lots of space and wonderful areas to relax and spread out. The pool is so refreshing and wonderful sunset views from the room. We loved eating outside each night. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked we loved cooking there. The house has everything you could need. The town is lovely and quiet and centrally located. Would absolutely book again. Isabella is so communicative with any questions you may have and was most helpful. 5 stars!

Family Holiday

Isabella's Mansion is a glorious house in a lovely little quiet and friendly town near to some beautiful towns and beaches. The house is immaculate and tasteful and Isabella did everything she could to make our stay fantastic. The courtyard garden and beautiful pool area have lots of cool shade areas. We cannot recommend the house more highly. We did have a two year old with us and would warn that there are some very steep stone steps so be careful with little ones.

1 week stay in Isabella's lovely property

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful property, which is spacious and ideal for a group of friends/family, where there is a lovely pool to cool off and swim in, when the sun is shining and hot (which it was)Isabella is a fantastic host. She made contact before and during the stay, to make sure everything was okThe location of the property was great, with local restaurant, bar & pizzeria, very welcoming Some lovely coastal scenery, bays, swimming places as well as historical towns of interest I would have no hesitation in recommending this property for a holiday vacationThank you Isabella

Absolute Must!

OMG! From start to fin8sh, an amazing experience. The communication prior to arrival until departure was excellent. I also cannot stress enough how beautiful the house is. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy Puglia. Lucugnano is a small and quaint community with friendly people. Close to the mare (10-15 minutes) and easy to reach many other destinations. I cannot recommend Isabella's home enough. We will be back soon hopefully...

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Isabella’s beautiful family home in Lucugnano. The house was perfect for us – spacious, full of charm, and offering complete privacy. With plenty of room, several terraces, and a delightful pool, everyone had their own comfortable space to relax.The communication with Isabella was outstanding from start to finish. She made us feel truly welcome and shared many great tips about the area. When a lightbulb needed replacing, it was taken care of immediately by a very friendly electrician – a perfect example of the warm and attentive hospitality we experienced throughout our stay.We stayed here with our three children and their partners to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and it could not have been more special. The comfort of the house, the relaxing setting, and above all, Isabella’s genuine kindness and hospitality made this an unforgettable holiday.Thank you, Isabella, for sharing your grand family home with us – we hope to return one day!

Lovely Property

Very helpful owner and greeter, with great communication, and the property was beautifully clean on our arrival. The house and it’s garden area are very well presented, with great quality loungers and a lovely clean pool. We loved the colour schemes and furnishings in the house. Super collection of books - I enjoyed reading the history and cookery books. Given it was 37 degrees c the air conditioning functioned very well. Well equipped and a good location for exploring the area. We went to the beach, explored local towns and landmarks and hired a boat for an afternoon. Lovely little town, more eateries within walking distance would make it even better. Trattoria Iolanda is well worth a visit. We had to take our car into a garage, but struggled to rent a car for a few days. We contacted the house owner who was very helpful in organising a hire car for us - thank you. A really lovely little sanctuary, with lots of space to sit quietly and read, oh and the wifi was good for our two teenagers.

Easter break in awesome villa

We spent 6 days in April in Lucugnano exploring Puglia. The house is very well located with lots of great places to visit within easy driving distance. It is in the center of Lucugnano only a few steps from the piazza with its typical café and pizzeria and very close to a small and quaint little bakery, supermarket and butcher shop. The house itself is really spacious, definitely big enough for the seven of us (4 adults and 3 teenagers). It's an old house that has been renovated with great style and all the modern amenities. The kitchen is huge and it was fun to cook great meals there. There is a rooftop with great views over the town of Lucugnano. The garden is bigger than we suspected and has a pool that we weren't able to use due to the unusually cold weather when we were there. Fortunately the house has central heating and Isabella was so thoughtful as to heat it up prior to our arrival so it was comfortably warm. Isabella is a great host, the communication was prompt and she was very helpful with any questions we had. All in all our stay was awesome and we would love to come back.

Das Haus war ein Traum! Es gibt äußerst gemütliche Betten, eine bestens ausgestattete Küche (!) und eine Reihe von Schmankerln, wie den Pool oder die Dachterrasse. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war immer top. Bis auf den Kirchturm, der ab und an mal läutet, hat man im Haus wie im Garten seine absolute Ruhe. Die Inneneinrichtung ist mit viel Liebe zu Detail gemacht worden. Wenn man eine Luxus-Immobilien-Doku drehen möchte, ist man hier genau richtig. Das Dorf, in dem das Haus liegt, Lucugnano, ist goldig. Es gibt hier ein sehr gutes Restaurant (Iolanda), einen kleinen Tante-Emma-Laden und natürlich genug Bars, Bäckereien und Konditoreien für den täglichen Kaffee, Cornetto und Süßgebäck. Von hier aus ist man schnell an den wunderschönen Sandstränden im Süden als auch an den paradiesischen Buchten an der Adria. Im Nebenort Tricase gibt's die beste Eisdiele überhaupt (G&Co) und sonst auch genug Supermärkte für einen größeren Einkauf.

Es war perfekt, alles wie beschrieben.Wir waren 4 Frauen und hatten jeder ein Zimmer mit Bad. Es war für alles gesorgt.Wir konnten jeden Abend draußen unter dem Granatapfel Baum sitzen. Der Pool war perfekt um sich zwischendurch zu erfrischen.Der Check in und out waren total easy, Isabella und Chiusy waren sehr hilfsbereit.Also alles in einem ein schöner Urlaub. zweäiwareine

Wir haben uns mit 6 Ewachsenen sehr wohl gefühlt indem großen beeindruckenden Haus.Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin lief reibungslos, sie spricht italienisch ,englisch und auch französisch.Der Pool war ausreichend groß ,um sich bei der Hitze abzukühlen.Auf der schönen Terasse ließ sich gut frühstücken und auch das Abendessen konnte man dort in gemütlicher Runde einnehmen.Eine Klimaanlage in den Zimmern war wohltuend.Es gibt drei (zum Teil) steile Treppen im Haus also für Kleinkinder eher nicht geeignet.Es gibt einen sehr nett geführten kleinen Lebensmittelladen um die Ecke ,dort findet man alles für den täglichen Bedarf.Ein sehr hübsches Restaurant ist in zwei Minuten zu erreichen. Lecce ,Otranto und Santa Maria de Leuca sind sehr sehenswerte Städte in der Umgebung!

Superbe maison, magnifiquement rénovée et pleine de cachet. Tout le nécéssaire est présent pour passer un séjour très agréable et sans stress. La maison est situé au centre d'un petite village, dans un quartier fait d'anciennes bâtisses. Elle dispose de très chouettes espaces extérieurs, jardin avec terrasse, piscine et une terrasse sur le toit surplombant les alentours.La propriétaire est hyperdisponible et a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour le plus détendant possible. Une excellente opportunité pour visiter le Salento et pratiquer la farniente aux heures les plus chaudes.Nous recommandons chaudement!

Cette belle villa a tenu toutes ses promesses ! La maison est encore mieux que sa description. La piscine est grande et très propre, toute la villa est joliment décorée et très bien équipée ( mention speciale pour la cuisine grande et fonctionnelle). Isabella a été très sympathique et la communication était aisée. Nous recommandons.

Séjour très agréable

Le Palazzotto est très spacieux et plein de charme.Notre hôte, Isabella,parle extrêmement bien le français et nous a été d une très grande aide tout au long du séjour.Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésitation.

Magnifique sejour chez Isabella

Superbe séjour chez Isabella. La maison a de très belles prestations, tout confort dans un lieu authentique. Nous avons été très touchés de l'accueil et des petites attentions apportées. La maison est très spacieuse et encore plus belle que sur les photos. La demeure a une vue à couper le souffle sur le rooftop où nous avons pu contempler les couchers de soleil. Juste magique.

Très belle location

Très belle location décorée avec goût et soin. On se sent bien tout de suite. Situé prêt des commerces à 30 mètres boucher et épicerie, et proche des 3 restaurants du village à 200 mètres. Maison située au calme, très peu de voisins et une très belle piscine, chaude! 31 degrés en permanence et à 29 à minuit. Enchanté de notre semaine, nous recommandons vivement cette location. De plus, notre hôte parlait français et anglais.
