Fabulous property and hosts! The apartment is just lovely, the location is superb, and Gian and Christina take excellent care of their guests. We were right in the heart of Rome, able to walk to everything you would want to visit. The views from the apartment veranda were ideal for people watching, sunsets, and coffee in the morning and an aperitif in the afternoon. Highly recommend this rental to all! Hope to return soon!

Our family of 5 called this our home for 3 weeks and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. We had plenty of room and the location was perfect for site seeing and restaurants. The apartment was even better than we were expecting. The views are incredible, we spent a lot of time on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and had every need taken care of. We can’t recommend it enough and would love to stay here again when we are back in Rome.

This property was perfect, better than the pictures and description!! The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The property was in a great location, was appointed with everything you could potentially need and need, and beautifully appointed. If we could give it 6 stars we would!! We are family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers) and stayed at the home for 4 nights.

I came to rome with my family. We could not have had a better stay. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. From the time we arrived from the airport we were treated with great service and a luxury experience. The communication with Gian and Christine was excellent. They did everything they could to make our stay incredible. Take advantage of the private tour company Promenades, the knowledge of the guides was outstanding. We moved in and out of the excursions seamlessly, we were truly enriched in the culture of Rome.

After many stays in Rome, Gian Antioco and Cristina delighted us with something new in the eternal city: a place that feels like home. Their apartment is gracious and spacious, elegant and refined, comfortable and convenient. The glories of Rome are steps away from this tranquil oasis but the warmth and graciousness of the hosts made this an unforgettable experience. Grazie di core!

We had a wonderful time at Colonna Traiana. The apartment was perfect for our family and had all the amenities you would ever need. Gian was helpful and prompt in all our communications and was very helpful in putting me in contact with local experts who helped arrange private tours and tickets. Authentic Roman experience, excellent location, and wonderful hosts

This was our first time as a family to Italy and it did not disappoint. Our host Gian and his wife Cristiana were absolutely amazing to work with leading up to our trip and wonderful hosts while we were there. We truly felt like family as they extended what use to be their home to our family for the week. The location was perfect and the terrace gave us beautiful views enjoy a nice Italian glass of wine and look out over the Trajan Forum. Thank you Gian and Cristina for a wonderful stay and welcoming us into your beautiful home and city.

A great time in Rome

Gian and his family offer a beautiful apartment in a central location. We had easy access to everything, and the location made getting around very simple. The apartment was spacious and allowed us to make breakfast each day before we headed out to see the sights. We couldn't have asked for a nicer home base. We highly recommend this apartment. Thank you.

Wonderful Stay

My family had a lovely time in Rome staying at Gian and Christina’s beautiful and authentic apartment. The location, while quite busy, was conveniently located to many of the sights of the city, and Petites Promenades (introduced and recommended by our hosts) was a great resource for tours and experiences—very high quality guides, and a very fun Italian cooking class. We were also grateful for Gian’s TLC in arranging for car service for my family—very helpful in a city where taxi access is more difficult. The curated guidebook in the living room was also a helpful resource for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend!
