Wonderful Naples apartment

Very nice

We enjoyed our stay very much our host was wonderful. They provided all the necessities and above. Everything that you would need was close by and easy to get to.

Great Apartment with perfect location

For groups of up to ten people, this apartment is perfect. It is located close enough to the metro to get a quick ride to Grimaldi near Napoli Centrale, making travel to Pompeii and Sorrento easy. The apartment itself was beautiful and comfortable, with a kitchen and living room that can accommodate the group to play games and relax. Niki also gave us great advice about what to see. I would stay here again.

Great location out of the busy center

The appartment was ideal for us, well appointed, spacious, close to metro and food options, and away from the business of the city center, but still easily accessed. Our host was wonderful, gave great tips for seeing the city, and we opted for a tour with him to Amalfi that was above and beyond expectations. Everything was set up for a very comfortable stay. We were two couples, but easily could have accomodated three. We felt very well looked after. We’d be happy to stay there again.

A gorgeous place to explore Napoli from!

Our group of 7 friends stayed in the apartment for 3 nights while exploring the gorgeous city of Napoli, and absolutely loved it! Niki gave us a very warm welcome and went above and beyond as a host. The apartment is beautiful and spacious, and we had everything we needed — it was easy to reach other places via the metro, and there were cafes and food places nearby as well as a well-equipped kitchen when we’d decided to cook our own meals. Would love to return to Napoli in the future and would absolutely try to stay here again if travelling in a large group.

Bright, clean, spacious and conveniently located.

Our stay at Casa Michelangelo was everything we could have hoped. The apartment was very clean, surprisingly large and very bright. The location is close to two metro stops and many restaurants and shops. Even though it is located in the middle of the city, it was very quiet and we had no trouble sleeping. Niki was a very gracious host. He met us at the apartment and showed us how everything in the apartment functioned. And then he took us on a whirlwind walking tour of the historical district of Naples. This included a quick tutorial of the local restaurants, markets and the metro. He then escorted us home to make sure that we arrived safely. Did I mention that this was free of charge. We had prearranged to have Niki take us on a driving tour of the Amalfi Coast. The fee was very reasonable and Niki drove us on a 12 hour tour of the coast that was breathtaking. We saw many popular tourist attractions and he took us to several that were not on any guide book, but were wonderful. I would highly recommend booking your stay in Naples at Casa Michelangelo!

For decades, my best friend and I had planned on traveling to Italy together. After visiting the Umbria and Tuscany regions, we took a train into Naples. There, we planned to explore the city and then make our way to either Positano or Sorrento for a night. Those plans never materialized because we were unable to find transportation. Uber doesn't work there -- it defaults to a taxi service where no cars could ever be found. When I asked the host, Niki, about car services, he knew of none, although he does offer tours of his own.One rainy day, we walked to the taxi stand nearby and waited for almost an hour for a taxi that never came. The next day, we tried the Metro, something we had hoped to avoid. We're both over 70 and healthy but not familiar with subway systems. And sure enough, we had a very stressful situation; however, we made our way to the Centro area where we were shocked to find beautiful historic buildings covered with graffiti. The highlight of that day was a little restaurant recommended by the lovely hostess Monika. Tucked away amid the bustling narrow, cobblestoned streets, we found the best food we had in Naples -- Genovese pasta -- at Tandem Ragu. I highly recommend this place -- just be ready to walk, phone in hand for directions!We absolutely loved the apartment and found many delightful restaurants nearby, but we were basically stuck in that area. For those who have transportation and wish to explore beyond the area, it might be ideal.

Comme dans un palazzo

Très bel appartement, vaste et bien équipé, même au-delà de nos attentes. Nous avons utilisé la terrasse qui donne sur le jardin tous les soirs, un bel atout.Le quartier de Vomero est charmant, bien desservi autant pour les commerces que pour les transports.Nous avons fait une très belle visite de la cote Amalfitaine avec Niki, un très bon guide, qui s’est montré un hôte disponible, très serviable et attentionné, désireux que notre séjour à l’appartement ou notre excursion soient des plus réussis.Un très beau séjour et un très bon hôte que nous recommandons chaudement.Merci Niki, Arrivederci

Ausgezeichneter Aufenthalt

Eine super Unterkunft in bester Lage. Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit zu fünft und Niki war ein super Gastgeber! Auch die Amalfi-Tour ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Fabulous Napoli

We were met by the host Niki who knows so much about his home town!He was very helpful and responsive-his help made our stay so enjoyable.Vomero is a great location and the apartment was elegant and clean and very handy for shops, Metro and restaurants.We had fabulous meals and just loved Naples and surrounding sights.

Perfect, well appointed apartment

We stayed with 4 adults, two teens, and a baby. The apartment had everything we needed and the host was friendly and communicated promptly. It is near a metro stop and there were restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The apartment is on the first floor and there is a lift to get there from floor 0 if you have heavy bags. There are several balconies to use and a cute garden/courtyard. Perfect! Thank you

Logement spacieux , très agréable,bien equipe

Ce grand appartement est très bien situé, tout peut se faire à pied proche métro et funiculaire. Naples est une ville très bruyante même la nuit, se munir de protections auditives !!!

One of the most memorable holidays

The property was excellent. Appreciated the items in the apartment for drinking and eating upon arrival. Niki took us on a wonderful tour of the Amalfi coast, knowledgeable of the area, lovely restaurant for lunch, great personality - many laughs. We were happy to have a TV with English speaking channel, thankful for the WIFI. Beds and furniture quite comfortable. We lacked for nothing while staying here. Area easy to find our way for supplies, touring and obtaining a taxi.

Very comfortable

My family and I (7 adults including a wheelchair) stayed here for 3 nights. It was very comfortable and clean. You had all the things you needed in the neighborhood. Everything from food to grocery to train station was within walking distance. You can really get the feel of being a local staying here because it’s not directly in the city center but it is very easy to get around. It is also a safe neighborhood. My family really enjoyed staying at this property and would definitely recommend and come back! Thank you Niki for welcoming us into your home cannot say more good things.

Beautiful & Spacious Apartment in a lovely neighborhood

We loved this apartment. Absolutely sparkling and in tip top shape. So convenient to everything-close to all the trains and Funiculars. Well stocked. We would absolutely book this apartment again. If you're traveling with a large group there is plenty of space to get a bit of solitude and the garden was a lovely surprise. Thank you Niki!

Excellent séjour

Super séjour dans le quartier vomero, transport en commun à proximité de l'appartement pour pouvoir rayonner dans Naples. L'appartement est conforme au descriptif, parfait pour les familles et notre hôte Niki à vraiment été super! Très arrangeant, disponible, il a pris du temps avec nous pour nous faire découvrir sa ville...bref tout était très bien!!! Merci Niki!!

Great apartment in a very good situation

The apartment is spacious - 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, and a large living/dining room. Situated in the Vomero district of Naples, close to 2 metro stations and to Castel Sant Elmo, which is well worth a visit. Niki was an excellent host - giving us a brief tour round the immediate vicinity when we arrived, and keeping in regular contact to make sure everything was OK. I can totally recommend the apartment and would stay there again if I come back to Naples.
