Great cabin with great view

Spacious, gorgeous cabin with a great view. Cabin was big enough for two families of 4. Cleaning needs a little work, not horrible just need to work on fine details.

Amazing cabin at a fantastic value

This cabin is an absolute must for a family get away. For better prices than any decent hotel, we watched a movie in our own theater, we played pool on our own table, played cards around a large table, competed for high scores on Ms. Pac Man, and enjoyed the best views on the mountain of Dollywood fireworks and the entire area. Highly recommend

Loved the Panoramic view

We just got back from a trip while staying at this cabin. I feel like Vacasa was friendly and easy to work with. The cabin was very spacious and clean. The theatre room was nice and was a great way to end our busy day exploring. We also loved the hot tub and pool table. We loved this cabin and would totally book a trip through Vacasa again.

End of summer vacation

The cabin was beautiful and spacious. It accommodated my whole family everyone had their own level and the view were breathtaking. Overall I would definitely recommend.

Awesome Cabin

We loved the space! So much space! Very clean, plenty of dishes and cookware for basic vacation cooking. Loved the view! Kids loved the downstairs movie room!

Week in the Smoky Mountains

The cabin was just like the pictures. The views are amazing and we spent lots of time on the decks enjoying that view. Beds were comfortable, kitchen ware was adequate for the folks in our party, we did not need to fix large meals. The theater room was a hit, we were able to enjoy the Sunday night football game, just like being there! Note - there are bears, so be careful when you leave the front door! On our last night, I went to put something in our vehicle and two bears were coming down the road!! I quickly went back in the house, closed the door, and everyone could watch them out the front windows. It was a highlight of the trip but please remember safety first, do not let children out by themselves! We would book this cabin again.

Beautiful view

Trip to Panoramic Point

Cabin views were amazing all in all a wonderful trip only thing l can say is need to update or repair some furniture and mattresses was supposed to be an iron there was not and guardrails on the road lol that last one is just a joke

Great place, enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed the cabin. We stayed here in the middle of February 2023. We enjoyed the cabin and most of all the beautiful view of the mountains/valley! If we had to criticize anything, we would say they cabin needed a more thorough cleaning. Bugs in all the windows, sheets didn’t appear clean. Inside of cabinets had random things/trash (old batteries) Also several pickets were lose, was not safe for a 15 month old who now loves to walk and explore. Aside from this, our stay was awesome and would definitely recommend.

Heck of a view.

The cabin was well kept but the owner could improve on the stock of the cleaning and kitchen supplies. Less than sufficient on the trash bags, TP, no coffee filters or coffee. I have stayed in numerous vacation sights and with the pretty penny of 2,000.00 the supplies were less than expected. But overall a nice place with a view.

Beautiful better than the photos buttt

The property was absolutely beautiful the views could not be beat!! Extremely clean.. But we did have a few minor things such as the faucets in the kitchen and basement bathroom constantly dripped (my son is autistic so this seriously upset him) the recliner chair in the living area when kicked out was broken, we could have used more towels and trash bags.. and one thing that was rather annoying was if 2 other rooms we’re using the television no one else could .. that was quite a issue for us especially when wanting to use the theater room.. But our over all stay was Great and we would stay again

Great Views! Okay deal

This house has great views! The theater room was very comfortable; we used it for watching a couple football games. The layout of the house was great as well- it was perfect for 6 adults. A few complaints: We had a couple issues with leaks but management responded very quickly. Beds are comfortable but loud (creaky). I was assured that the kitchen would be well stocked, but there were only 3 tall drinking glasses and 1 juice glass to share among 6 people. Cookware was sufficient but minimal. The hot tub works but the jets are very weak. There were lots of chairs to choose from on the porches, but very little seating in the living room (we used camp chairs for extra seating). Overall it was a great trip, but debate is still out on whether we’ll stay here again.

Just ok.

After staying, I strongly agree with a review I read when booking, “not the worst, but not the best either”. Pretty views, if you like to be close to the top of the mountain, the drive up won’t bother you. Clean-ish. It had plenty of beds for our family, however no one wanted to sleep on the lowest floor because it was so cold down there. My biggest area that could have been improved was the living room seating. Pictures of the furniture in the theatre room and living room are not accurate. The living room only has 1 couch (which seats 3 MAYBE 4 smaller people) with no other chairs. If a cabin says it will sleep 8, you would think it would have enough seats in a living area for at least half the group, if not all. The theatre room had smaller reclining chairs, not the same as the larger couches pictured when we booked. We had a good trip, but honestly not a cabin we would return to.

Tough trip

We have used Vrbo for over a decade for all of our vacations. This was the first time we had an issue and experienced legit problems. The biggest issue was the air conditioning unit in the 3rd floor area was broke on day 1. The upstairs where we were trying to sleep was over 90 degrees. No windows could be opened. It was suffocating. Since the house has so many windows it made it into a ‘greenhouse’ effect that would worsened as the day went on.. We didn’t get help for two days.There is no ‘homeowner’ to work with. It’s a property manager that took her time on providing any help. There is a number for Vacasa too that was a outside customer service agency. They would answer and ‘send help’ that would arrive HOURS later. The first night, someone came out to the house at 11pm from maintenance. And then even later than that when they came out the next day when the ceiling from the 3rd floor was leaking water down through the kitchen on top of the air conditioning still not working. The pull out bed in the living room was broken. We had tried to lay on that the first night when the air was so thick and suffocating in the bedroom….but that was not possible either. Lastly, the drive up to the house was intense. Doable. But very tight for our Suburban. Unfortunately, a few of us experience motion sickness so felt sick after winding up and down the hill on our daily 10 minute trek up and down it. As far as visiting Pigeon Forge, I recommend that. Just not this rental.

Not worth the price

Let me first start by saying this is my 6th time visiting the Smoky Mountains and we try a different cabin everytime have always been pleased with our accommodations but the was the worst. There were 7 in our group and only 5 kitchen chairs. Really only 4 chairs cause the 5th one was broke. There werent enough silverware or glasses for our group. There were 3 chairs on the deck and 2 of them were broken. My husband who is having back surgery in 2 weeks sat on one and the chairs leg came out and he fell( we are waiting to see if it did any further damage). The refrigerator was missing a drawer and 2 shelves. The blanket on the bed on the main floor was dirty. The basement was a pleasant surprise it had been updated since the pictures were taken and it nice theater seating. The blankets on the bed in the basement were also dirty and in the the spare closet the extra blanket had sticky stuff on it. the upstairs bedroom was fine and the view from all of the decks were amazing. The worse part of everything was the hot tub that my sister and 2 sons got in because it looked clean. It was not there was sludge and slime all around once we got in and saw it we got out and went immediately to a hot shower. I called and complained on friday and didnt get anything done until sunday when the property manager called to see if my provlems were addressed. She was so nice and came right out with fresh blankets and got in the hot tub and drained and cleaned it. She was amazing.The cabin wasnot

Beautiful escape from chaos of city life

The location was amazing with breathtaking views of the valley and cities below. We spent Thanksgiving in the house with plenty of room to spread out on the three balconies and three levels of activity (theater, air hockey, kitchen area, pool table, hot tub). Just seeing the house brings a smile to my face. The drive into the house was like a roller-coaster and we were thrilled that there was a lot of vacancy on the mountainside. The fires of 2016 have destroyed dozens of homes in the area which leaves you without neighbors, traffic or internet connections. It was a win for us. It's not anywhere close to the park (about a 45 minute drive to get to trails). It was a quick 15 minutes into the chaos of Pigeon Forge. The kitchen is tiny with no counter space for fixing a large meal but the pots/pans were nice. There needs to be more glasses. The downstairs bed is pretty stiff but the other ones were very comfortable. The kitchen chairs absolutely need to be replaced. There were spindles coming undone constantly and a few were getting pretty shaky. We really enjoyed a table that could hold 8 people comfortably for eating and playing games. The teenagers LOVED the theater room and we all enjoyed a movie and football at the theater. When we arrived there were dead flies and lady bugs in the windowsills but it wasn't uncharacteristic for the area and season. The house overall was very clean and a quick sweep took care of them. We loved it. If I could find the exact same house much closer to the Smoky Mountain National Park, I'd be back every holiday!

Long but worth reading

Cabin has a lot of potential but it is lacking maintenance. Upstairs toilet does not flush so cannot be used. Washer has lots of mildew. Faucets cannot be turned off and drip. First floor bedroom has only 2 dim lamps and ceiling lamp has burnt out old bulbs. Redfin shows cabin was purchased in 2017 and still has same bedding and shower curtains. Gross. TV in theatre room is a tube tv stamped dated 2011 and screen is so dark you can only view at night. Hot tub has very weak jets with no chemicals added so is pointless. Could not play pool as they do not include the correct balls and 8 ball missing. They only have one thermostat that controls main floor and lower level. It was 50 degrees on the lowest level and 55 on main level. We called maintenance about the toilet and someone came by said it was fixed but it wasn’t. We called about no heat and maintenance man came and could not fix so they put in an emergency call to hvac co for same day but nobody ever called or showed until next day. Cabin was 55 degrees inside and colder in lowest level. HVAC guy said its because there is no thermostat in lowest level and system is not large enough for 3 level cabin. It is impossible for 3 cars to fit in driveway. We had just enough for two SUVs to fit. The end of driveway has a huge gap from road and huge piece of cement so even our SUVs scraped each time getting in and out of driveway. Blinds in all bedrooms are melted from sun and caused sunlight early AM and no privacy. Can only have one TV on at a time or a message about limit comes on which was fine because there is only a few channels and very limited on demand to watch anyways. Vacasa is renting cabin but the sign on cabin says Sugar Maple Cabins which could be confusing. Cabin needs to be better maintained. A lot of our complaints can be found in reviews dating back to 2016. There is a lot of traffic up/down roads but most of the road is wide enough to pass with only few scary turns. Be careful for the local housekeepers they fly on the roads and do not move over. It’s exactly 10 mins to drive up or down to main road. View from cabin is ok I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. I would stay again if they would update and maintain.
