Loved how centrally located the house is, and how easy it is to bike wherever you may want to go on the island. The sun room was so nice and relaxing! We hope to be back again!

The house was great and I really appreciate that it was pet friendly! Very clean and well furnished! The fenced in back yard after a little cleaning up was amazing and the dogs really enjoyed it!

Thank you for your review. We apologize the fenced backyard needed a little cleanup — we'll share this with our housekeeping/landscaping team. It's great the dogs enjoyed it. We appreciate the feedback and hope to host you again on Jekyll Island.

Lovely stay--quiet and relaxing

Great location, easy and responsive communication with the property manager. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday, and were very pleased... super relaxing, and an easy walk to the beach. The property could use overall updating (kitchen appliances, beds, etc), but everything works and is in fair condition and is priced appropriately. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Great location

Ok so this place is a block from the ocean, great location! However how do you not include, toilet paper and hand soap? Beds are old, not great, pillows are terrible. That being said, we enjoyed ourselves and location is great

Heron Cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: love the place for us BUT most of the beds are falling in and really can not be slept in. Someone should just go in and try and sit or lie down on each of them.

April 2022 Stay

We really like Heron Cottage but only 1 of the beds is usable. Other three are falling in and need to be replaced. We only needed one but could not invite our kids to stay with us as there is not a bed for them. Otherwise, we love it here !

Nice rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just like all the other of rentals I've had from Jekyll Realty, it has been a great rental property. Sure it isn't the most high end house ever built but unless you are a snob, then this house should meet your needs. But if I had to mention a downside to the house, it would be it only has 1 shower, but that is clearly stated in the description. Otherwise, everything was good to go. House was clean, floors was clean, location was great, etc. I definitely would rent this property again. I will say that the grill is rather weak. Its a small grill, like a 14 inch weber or something tiny on that size. We wasn't planning on grilling, but would have been disappointed if were hoping to grill. It was just real small. Again I'm just being real nitpicky here to list some negatives on the house. Otherwise, its all positives.

So glad we didn't book a hotel room instead

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean, great fenced-in yard for the dogs, kitchen stocked with plenty of plates and cooking supplies, washer and dryer, under 5 minutes walking to the beach. Everything was super convenient and comfortable. I would get the front door lock worked on soon, as it seemed really tough to turn the keys and I was afraid the key was going to snap off with the teeth in the lock, which has happened to me before.

Convenient comfortable cottage!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Heron cottage with our two dogs for a week. It’s conveniently located to everything and is a quick easy walk to the beach. The house is just as described, but especially lovely is the sunroom. The house interior was clean and the appliances all worked fine. While the description says charcoal grill it was tiny. The house is walking distance to the Beach House restaurant where we enjoyed a lunch on the screened in outdoor patio. We took advantage of the equipment, rental discount and rented bikes, which was easy, and we enjoyed biking to Tortuga Jacks for dinner and drinks or to the market in town for necessities and souvenirs. We enjoyed lunch Sunrise Grill too, they had amazing and fast service. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Driftwood bistro and a golf cart rental from Red Bug motors.

September 2023 Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Heron Cottage. It’s a short walk to the beach and our dogs really enjoyed the yard. The Florida room was lovely and we spent most of our time there while home. The house had everything we needed. We will be back soon!

September 2023 Stay

We have stayed many time at 4 Ogden and love the home and location! Fenced backyard is awesome! All the furniture is new but not the most comfortable for lounging (for the two legs) on a rainy/cold day but when you are there for the beach it isn't a deal breaker.

October 2022 Stay

The house is in a perfect location. We really enjoyed being so close to the beach. the kitchen is large and well equipped. The sunroom is wonderful. We brought our three dogs so we needed a fenced in yard and we were pleasantly surprised at how large the yard is. a few issues. the yard needs better lighting for night time. The mattress' are not comfortable...next time I would bring my own pillow top. Overall we really enjoyed our trip amd would book this unit again.

Heron Cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was nicely sized and comfortable. The only real issue was the 1/2 bath is right at the dining table off the kitchen and has a bi-fold door. Pretty useless except for washing hands. No one wanted to use it as the door didn’t completely close and didn’t feel private. Otherwise, the location was great and fenced yard was perfect for our dog.
