Great house and location right on the beach. Easily fit a group of 12 (adults and teens), and the property manager is very responsive to any questions.

House was exactly as advertised, great place for our large group of 12 adults. Host and House manager were both easily accessible if we had questions. Host was able to provide a ton of information for us to enjoy our stay, from getting taxi/car service, grocery stores, restaurant list, and in house Chefs as well as list of excursion that were all best in class. We will be back with family, friends and kids. Awesome place, easy access to the beach/ocean, pool and deck are amazing. Cabana is a great place to relax by the pool. Plenty of room inside to just chill and the back deck is huge to spread your group out. Thanks Sandy Bum for awesome trip.

Our 4 families (ranging in age from adult to 3 years old) had a phenomenal time at the Sandy Bum house. The house was perfect for our large group and was well stocked with all of the toys needed to enjoy both the pool and the beach. The pool, hot tub, cabana, bunk room, exercise room and beach were a hit for all!!

Sandy Bum was a wonderful house for several families. The ocean is very safe for smaller children as is the pool. You are also located in the middle of the island, so you are about 15 minutes to all the things. However, there are convenient stores close for the things you forgot. The host answers questions quickly and the owner helps answer all questions before you’ve even started packing.

House was a nice in person as in the pictures. House manager did an excellent job. Plenty of room for the family. And the kids had a great time in the pool, hot tub, and beach. Close proximity to airport and Georgetown.

Wonderful experience

Enjoyed the stay, we celebrated our 25th anniversary with our family. Abundance of space, House, Pool, and Beach were magnificent! Can’t wait to return.

Family Vacation

We had a great time at Sandy Bum! House was perfect for a group of 17. House manager was very attentive to any questions we had! Location is perfect! Would highly recommend staying at Sandy Bum!

Seriously the best on the island

This house is seriously the best! Great location to Georgetown, awesome being right on Tar Bay Beach, probably the best property manager on the island and the house is so well stocked, clean and great quality! You are guaranteed to have a fabulous vacation!! This was our second time staying at Sandy Bum!

Just bring your bathing suit!

This property has everything else. Beautiful location, great owners, and a fabulous property manager. The home is spacious and modern with a well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed the jacuzzi after spending our days on the boat and we played pool every night after dinner. We hope to stay here again!!

Sandy Bum perfection!

Sandy Bum is an amazing property. The house and cabana are so veautiful and thoughtfully designed. Our group of 11 adults, a 6 yr old and 2 toddlers were all comfortable in the nicely appointed beddrooms. The owners communications were amazing and thorough, answering all our questions and anticipating our needs.

Family Fun 🍾🎉

The property is great. We experienced a few items that didn’t work: generator, hot tub jets, and the bedrooms on the first level had a musky smell.

Memories and Experiences

Sandy Bum was a perfect home for our family of 15. When we started talking about our family vacation my husband wanted to create an experience that would result in a memory. The communication from the homeowner down to the property manager was very helpful. All of the recommendations were based on what we wanted to do and see. Greatest Family Vacation Ever!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The house is beautiful. Pool and hot tub were used a lot. We cooked on the outdoor grill a couple of nights and it was great. Played a lot of pool and games in the evenings. We also did a little crabbing on the beach at night. We have some athletic folks in our group. They ran on the beach and worked out in the gym. One night we had Chef Kristant along with his mom, Momma Bear and Chef's sister prepare dinner. Food was yummy! Would highly recommend Sandy Bum!

AMAZING HOME & BEACHFRONT!

Our large family group (young children to grandparents) enjoyed every minute of our stay at Sandy Bum! We enjoyed the beachfront, pool, and wonderful home for a week. The owner, Neil, was exceptional in communicating with us ahead of our trip with island and home information that allowed us to plan things during our stay such as a boat excursion, private in-home chefs, and in-home massages. The property manager, Esther, was equally amazing and available throughout our trip for questions and check-ins. Thank you to both of them for creating and maintaining a wonderful property on this beautiful island! We look forward to our next trip to Sandy Bum!!

Amazing House for an Amazing Island

We rented the property for 16. It had so much space and was well stocked. We enjoyed it so much. The pictures don’t do it justice. We spent several days on boat tours but the days at the house were equally amazing. The young adults loved the lower level with gym and pool table as a place to hang together at night away from the parents. The staff was nice and attentive and helped us when we had questions. Wanted to rebook immediately!!

Core memories made at Sandy Bum

My dad treated my siblings and our families to the trip of a lifetime at Sandy Bum. We travelled as a group of 19 – 10 adults and 9 kiddos (aged from 14 to 1 year). It's a truly special spot - with spectacular views and all the comforts of home. We felt so taken care of. The owners have truly thought of everything and it made our stay that much more special. The kids especially loved the beach toys, pool floaties, and bunk room. We’ve stayed at a ton of vacation rentals and Sandy Bum was our best experience, hands down. Fingers crossed we're lucky enough to visit again.

Loved Sandy Bum

We loved this house. Of the houses we've rented that sleep 15-16, this was the best setup. Beach access is great. The basement gym and pool table were highly utilized. We enjoyed the large dining room for dinners and living room for hangouts. The bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. 15 adults (includes 7 college kids) slept comfortably. The house has all the furnishing to cook, made cocktails, relax, have a more formal dinner etc. We worried about street noise etc, but that wasn't an issue or concern, we barely noticed. Mid island is great for trips in either direction.

Best Island in the Bahamas.

We are a large group and need a big house. This checked of our boxes. 7 bedrooms, on the beach, with a swimming pool and a hot tub. Sandy Bum is a newer home with first class decorating. Anyone will love it. The island does have power issues and this trip was no different. The refrigerator was not working when we got there due to a power surge the night before according to the property manager. Neither was the ice maker. We were forced to put as much of the grocery items in the freezer to keep them from spoiling. They got it better by the 3rd day. They never tried to repair the ice maker which makes me wonder if it was ever working. I believe the property manager should have delivered a few bags everyday. Over all we loved the house and would come back again.

Sorry to hear about the fridge and ice maker. In reality, it was working until the power surge which died the board. The ice maker is essential in my opinion and our family was using it just a couple weeks before your arrival. We were flying in parts to fix it but even on rush, it can take a week minimum to get things to the island. And yes, you should have been brought ice. We will make a note of that.

This property was exceptional! Best equipped kitchen ever with plenty of room for cooks and helpers! Lots of pool and water toys in great condition, loads of beach towels, fun games and puzzles, great sitting areas all over! On top of a gorgeous setting! Don’t miss the stars at night!
