Views don't get any better than this. Watch endless PACIFIC OCEAN. Turtles, Dolphins, whales during whale season and other ocean activities. 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath. lanai . Ground floor unit makes for easy access. Oceanfront pool. It has to be one of the most awesome condos in all of Kauai.

IF YOU GET ANY CLOSER TO THE OCEAN THAN THIS, YOU WILL BE SWIMMING IN IT.

Experience the South Shore of Kauai at it's best. (Poipu Shores Complex)

Poipu has the best Kauai beaches for swimming. Poipu Beach Park is kid-friendly and best for exploring tide pools, snorkeling, and building sandcastles. You can walk there from the condo.

The condo is upgraded but it's not luxury, it's upgraded to be island style with bamboo and such, it's very nice, very comfortable and incredible location, if luxury is what you're looking for, this is not it, if you're looking for comfort, amazing location, incredible views, romance, privacy and want to watch ocean wild life right in front of your own eyes, this is the condo you're looking for!

Due respect to all guests, there are two types of guests, some guests are coming to Hawaii to have a wonderful time, enjoy the condo and the views, those guests are more than welcome! There are guests who are coming to do property inspection, enjoying a vacation is the last thing on their mind! I don't know of any property that is 100% perfect in every aspect and I don't know of any ocean front property in a high humidity, wet climate, salt air with strong winds like the state of Hawaii that will not have rust here or there or electronics never breakdown! If you are coming to do property inspection rather than have a nice comfortable, relaxing vacation in a nice, clean property with amazing views, please save your money, your time and energy and keep searching for the perfect ocean front property that's perfect in every aspect!

Amazing! My wife and I really enjoyed waking up to the ocean right outside the back door. Turtles, seals, dolphins, and whales could all be seen from the patio. 10/10!

This condo was at least as good as advertised. The ocean view was beyond amazing. We saw sea turtles every day while we ate breakfast on the balcony.We plan to come back to Kauai someday and when we do, we hope to stay here again. The location of this condo was perfect! My wife fell in love with this condo.Finally, the owners were very responsive to all of our messages and they were very friendly.

Turtles Turtles Turtles!

We had a great time in this condo. Everyday when we woke up, we would eat breakfast on the balcony and watch turtles swimming! They were pretty cute. Great access to nearby beaches and the pool. Appreciated the beach towels, boogie board and chairs. AC was very helpful. Great access to Netflix and Disney Plus for after the sun went down. Loved it! Highly recommend

Check in/out was easy and owner communicated with us before arrival which was appreciated. Location was great. If you are looking to rent, just know that the condo is old and furnishings tired/worn. Not a great value for the money paid.

This property is so amazing. Wild to say but the pictures don’t even do it justice. Great little neighborhood with easy beach access / dining within a half mile or so. Plenty of turtles and saw some Rays out in the water too!

The inside was a bit tight but the lanai and the view made up for it! Turtles upon turtles just swimming right below! Could have sat and watched all day!

Bucket List Trip to Kauai!

Amazing property!!! The views off the balcony can’t be beat. You can see sea turtles all day. The location of this property is great. Minutes from the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We loved Poipu beach and see the turtles and monk seals. Communication was awesome with the owner and check in and check out was seamless. Great property!

Great location, tired unit

The views are incomparable. However, while described as "not a luxury stay", the unit is priced higher than similar units we saw at the complex with updated furnishings and a higher cleaning standard. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and needs replaced. Kitchen appliances and tools for food prep are in need of updating and refreshing. The owner's communication was excellent and it's clear she is a very responsible host.

Poipu Shores

Great location on top of the ocean and turtles. Nice relaxing pool and easy access to Poipu Beach. AC was great addition after a day in the sun and surf. Well appointed kitchen and gas grill right outside made it easy to cook our own dinners. In-unit laundry also made our packing list very small.

Views and “Dos”

Phenomenal location and sweeping views. We saw turtles, whales and dolphins from the beautiful lanai. Comfortable bed, clean and well appointed. Lots to do! Walking distance to restaurants. Short drive to local beaches to see the turtles rest. Nothing like returning from the beach to more ocean views! Book your stay here!

Everything you need!

My husband & I have stayed at many VRBOs across the country. Melodee’s place was exactly as described. It’s so nice to have an owner that will answer emails & questions immediately! As everyone has said, the views are amazing. Watching the turtles up close and the whales in the distance was a fantastic way to spend free time. (Melodee even has binoculars for you to use)Another added bonus was all of the beach gear she provided. Chairs, umbrella, beach towels & a cooler with ice packs made beach going so much easier. The furniture could use some updating, but everything else was perfect!

Wonderful …

It doesn’t get any closer to the ocean. Roaring surf, abundant sea life, beautiful sunsets and ready access to beaches. The unit is small, well-appointed and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with the necessary tools to cook a meal. A washer and dryer made our stay and our return home much easier. We booked another week for next year. ‘Nut said!

Stellar property, outstanding hosts

I have stayed at several other condos in this complex in the past. This one is really special. The ground level access is super easy from the parking lot, which was handy with my parents recently entering their '80s.Once you walk in, the view immediately hits you, and it is SPECTACULAR. It is nothing but ocean in front of you. You hear it at the same moment you see it, and the steady crashing of waves against the rocks is perhaps my favorite thing about Kauai. We saw numerous humpback whales, sea turtles and even a monk seal in the water right in front of the Lanai. On clear days, we could not look out at the ocean for one minute without seeing sea life. Amazing. What a blessing to be able to experience a stay at this place.It was walking distance to Brennecke's, even for my 80-year-old mom with a 2-month-old new knee. Granted, she is no standard octogenarian lol. We were easily able to explore Hanapepe, the Waimea Canyon, Napali Coast, and more from this location.To top it all off, the hosts were incredible. Communication from start to finish was simple and direct, and I never felt like there was any chance that anything was being missed. It is clear that they know what they're doing, and this is a professionally run property with an unbeatable location and view. I recommended it to a couple that sat next to me on the plane on the way back to Oregon. I have little doubt they will be booking it. Thank you Melodee and Mike for an unforgettable week in Hawaii.
